STAN W CONSTRUCTION INC

Short story. I found them in Angie's. Screened them on the phone and asked for a bid. They came quickly and made an offer that was very fair. Work was completed on time and very professional. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

They were great and their quality of work was excellent. They are wonderful and very efficient. They even work on weekends.

Wesley and crew installed 17 double hung vinyl replacement windows, installed an exterior door, and did some minor gutter repair on a two-flat. This was my second experience with the company, both of which have been positive. Wesley immediately responded to my request for pricing, measured all the windows, and gave me a verbal quote. When I called back 3 weeks later to confirm the work, he moved forward with ordering windows. The crew was neat with their installation, taking care to protect existing furniture. I will not hesitate to use Stan W Construction for window/gutter/siding work in the future.

Stan was prompt from the beginning, polite throughout, and completed the job in a timely manner. The ground was picked up and all old siding was taken away. At no extra charge he provided some carpentry work on a portion of the porch and replaced a piece of cedar-siding, without being asked and at no extra charge.

They did a great job overall. Stan W Construction appears to be more of a construction subcontractor than a homeowner's contractor. The number listed for Stan W goes directly to Wesley Widak's cell phone. I had to bug Wesley a couple of times to get a quote, but his price was very reasonable (total of 3 quotes). I also had to bug Wesley a bit to get him out to do the work, as he was very busy this Fall. They completed the work in two days and did everything I asked for, and more. The slight inconvenience relating to scheduling was more than made up for in the quality and price of the work.

I called Stan Construction on 3/9. The first time the phone was answered they did not say a word. The second time I called (thinking I had the wrong number) I had to ask is this was Stan W Construction. The person who answered the phone did not seem to want to be bothered but he said he would come out and look at the property and get back to me. As of today, 3/17/2006, I still have not heard from him. Needless to say I went with another company.

WESLEY (OWNER) WAS VERY COURTEOUS & PROFESSIONAL. HIS WORKMEN WERE THE SAME. THEY CAME ON TIME & FINISHED THE WORK ON SCHEDULE. THEY REMOVED ALL DEBRIS & CLEANED THOROUGHLY.

WESLEY SPEAKS BOTH POLISH AND ENGLISH; HE WAS VERY PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL. THE CREW HAD THE JOB DONE IN ABOUT TWO HOURS AND CLEANED UP ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.
