We had a rocky start, but once I let the owner know of my concerns, he immediately offered to remedy the situation and re-scheduled another visit. I gave a B for quality only because of the first crew. The second crew (Chris) was excellent. My counter almost looks new. Definitely would hire them again if I needed further work.

They were amazing. Everything actually looks better than when everything was installed 7 years ago. I am amazed how good everything looks. From the original sales consultation until the job was completed, they were professional, showed up on time and did all the work in one day. Look no further for the best in the business.

The woman from here called 30 minutes before my appointment and cancelled it. She said that they had some mix up while making my appointment. That's just ridiculous, because i called and confirmed it 2 days before. I found them to be unprofessional, tardy and rude. After my experience i read more reviews here and read that others experienced the same, some of them were billed incorrectly. Don't use them.

I can't say enough about the quality of work and customer service we received. Our experience was wonderful from working with Dan on a quote to the very end of the project. Jasmin is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his trade. I worried needlessly about it being a messy project and color matching our tile and grout repairs. Jasmin made the decision-making process easy, plus he brought a clean tarp making sure all of his work tools stayed on the tarp when not in use. I really appreciate that! End result: Our travertine tile looks beautiful and refreshed!! Thanks, Sir Grout!

Last Spring we were in the process of preparing our home for sale. We decided to have the tiles in our master bath re-grouted and were surprised how difficult it was to find someone with experience to perform the work. We finally found Sir Grout and were very pleased with the entire process. Their technician, Kevin, was very friendly and professional and completed the work on time and as promised. The tile looked brand new and they also did a great job on the cleanup. We sold our home in no time and I know the tile work was a major plus. Sir Grout was great!

Told us it would take all day for job to get done and quoted us $800 for work. Hired them and they did work in roughly half that time. Work done is ok but they had to come back out to correct color on tub caulk. In survey sent from company they asked for our feedback and we told them too high of a price based on hours it actually took. Owner called and said jobs not based on hours but based on area. In any case, when estimate was provided the sales person translated area we provided into 8 hours so while that seemed like a high hourly rate, felt it was not unreasonable. The fact that it took half that time changed our perception regarding value for service and based on that, I would not recommend these folks. Owner on follow up phone call did not offer any resolution just explained that estimate based on area not hours. However, as noted,their sales folks quoted hours to justify price.

Person from the company came to provide initial estimate of job. She was late, but apologized for her tardiness. She was professional and was clear about options. She did state that cleaning could be done to clear shower door, when in fact it could not be done. Tech came as planned two weeks later to complete agreed upon work. He was on time, efficient and professional. He did the work and explained the reasons for his inability to clean the shower door. There was a mix up with the final bill involving the deposit and removal of the cleaning that was unable to be done. I actually overpaid. When I realized this the company was very apologetic and sent me a check immediately to refund the money. I would work with them again.

The gal who came and provided the estimate was super sweet and efficient. The manager arrived for work on time and completed the work while we were out for the afternoon. The shower looks awesome!!! I've already shared Sir Grout's name with all of my friends. This is the type of service provider you always want a good recommendation for.

Sir Grout completely restored our bathroom tile floors and shower tile. We had bought a new construction condo and the builder hired an inexperienced tile installer who put the tile in and did not clean up grout/caulk lines. The tile had permanent stains all over it....until Sir Grout came! We had gotten several quotes from other builders in the area to reaplce the tile competely and they quoted $7,000 or more. Given the high price of replacing the tile, we looked into professional cleaning and we found Sir Grout. They had great reviews and were very responsive. They came to our house one morning to test an area of the tile to confirm their methods would work. Then they scheduled the actual cleaning for the next week. It took a day and a half and they were 100% successful. The tile looks amazing and they completely restored it to how it should have looked originally. They did an absolutely wonderful job and we couldn't be more pleased. I would highly recommend their services and they saved us a lot of money by saving us from replacing the floor.

Dan and his staff were chosen because it's a family owned firm. I was extremely pleased with the results, a clean like new appearing grout that is easy to clean. They were reliable, professional and unobtrusive while doing the work. They also followed up to see if everything was done to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend them.

Initial job to re-seal tile wasn't thoroughly done, but after providing that feedback the crew came back out and got everything squared away

I am a retired contractor. I bought a condo in 1999 in downtown Chicago. After renting it out for 15 years, the porcelain tile floors had white grout that had turned black with dirt. Totally black! Sir grout came in and in 1 day restored the grout to white again like new, no kidding. I couldn't believe it. I have rebuilt over 100 bathrooms over 30 years and I've never seen anything like it I will use them again next year on my other apartments.

I highly recommend Sir Grout. I own a company that manages locations for photo and film shoots and occasionally there is damage during productions. It is my responsibility to get it fixed in a timely manner, this particular project that I hired Sir Grout for was a commercial for a cleaning product. We covered the bathroom in mud and paint to advertise the cleaning power of the product? of course it?s all movie magic. The dirt and paint actually ruined the grout on the shower and I was responsible for getting it fixed. Enter Sir Grout! Anne from the sales team was amazingly helpful. The coordination was seamless. The follow through was excellent. They showed up on time. They made the ruined grout look perfect. The cost was reasonable. We have many different occasions with a variety of issues that need to be fixed and Sir Grout stands out as the the best overall experience.

Excellent. Ann visited my home to give me a quote and was very knowledgeable and personable. Tito performed the work. He was prompt and professional. Could not fault this service in anyway. Highly recommend to give an affordable face lift to your bathroom, without having to spend thousands of dollars to completely redo. Also the work is under warranty for a year. Highly recommended.

Good. Except for a minor understanding about what was covered and what was not.

I called Sir Grout for an estimate and Dan the owner was out the next day taking measurements and giving an estimate. A few days later he and his entire crew were at my rental unit getting the grout cleaned and colored. We were in a tight crunch to get the unit cleaned and ready for renters and Dan and his team were great about scheduling and getting out to our place quickly. The unit has tile floors throughout and it was obvious they had never been cleaned. They really did an excellent job and I couldn't have been happier with the service. Will definitely use Dan and his team again.

The quote by Ann was quick, easy, and reasonable. I was on a tight schedule to make a property ready to rent and Sirgrout was able to fit the work into a very tight time window. The technician Chris was a nice and a clean worker. The resealing of the bathroom grout was an economical way to bring new life to my rental property without a full gut. Sirgrout will get my business again.

I can't say enough good things about Carlos and Jonathan of Sir Grout. I purchased a condominium with a phenomenal Italian mosaic in the shower. Unfortunately a year after we bought the condo the shower pan struck a leak and caused damage to the apartment below. The bottom part of the mosaic and the fancy tiny square honed marble floor had to be redone--at great expense. Just six months after the repair the new grout was separating and I was seeing the beginnings of mold. Sir Grout came out and gave me an estimate for the work and we spent quite a bit of time making sure that the grout and calking materials would match. Jonathan and Carlos came out today to do the job. They were on time, so neat and so friendly. Best of all, they did a terrific job!! Thanks, Sir Grout.

Update from original review - As I had written below, my initial dealings weren't very positive. That said, I will commend Sir Grout for attempting to make things right. The owner called me after my original review and scheduled someone to come over again and clean up the project. The project is now complete, and overall I'm fairly pleased with it. Original review - This did not go well. I picked Sir Grout due to their high ratings on Angie's List and asked them to seal and re-grout my master shower. $545 seemed pricey, but I thought they would do a good job. They came on July 14th and did their work. I took a quick glance at the shower and it looked fine, but when I used the shower I noticed a giant crack in the grout on the side, a small hole on the ground at one of the corners, and an entire area that was skipped over entirely. I called Sir Grout again and was finally able to get them to come back to finish the job two weeks later. I stayed home from work and then Sir Grout canceled on my 11:00am appointment at 11:30am, which basically defines unprofessionalism. Then they told me they couldn't fit me in for another two weeks. After asking them for a refund they relented and sent some one over another three days later. In preparation for their visit, I placed post-it notes with arrows drawn on them pointing to where the issues were. Even with the post-its, they didn't fix everything. This whole thing really couldn't have been handled any worse. I would not recommend their services.

Starting with the sales person. He explained the process and showed me samples of colors for my grout. I was sold so I signed up right there. The office called to confirm my appointment and also emailed me confirmation of my appointment. Sir Grout sent Jasmin out to do my floors. Jasmin is more meticulous than I which is so refreshing. Jasmin came in and expained the process and got started. Through the process I learned of Jasmin passion for this job and a job well done. He went over my floor the first time and felt it needed a little more care. Once he did that, we finished off the process then went around inspecting his work. Then Jasmin had me go through and inspect his work. If anything was still a little dark he would point those out and explain them. My recommendation is to take a before an after pic. Jasmin does that and so I followed suit. It is shocking the transformation. I feel like I have new tiles. I really didn't expect this good of result. Some of it is the product for sure but I do believe a lot of it is the care that Jasmin put into doing a good job. On top of that when I got the contact and paid the deposit the guy must have subtracted incorrectly. When I went to pay the remainder, Jasmin verified the amount and let me know the remainder was less. Thank you Sir Grout and Jasmin.
