 + -1 moreThe overall experience with Scott Ware has been very successful from the start (5 years ago) to the present time. The services he provided are thoroughly described in the "services perfomed" section of this recommendation.? In addition to the gardening and maintenance that Scott has performed he also built a flagstone wall to protect my front ivy-covered area between the house and the sidewalk and added a "skirt" to my newly constructed deck at the rear of the house.Overall, his work and that of his assistants has been faultless, punctual and creative.? Most important was his willingness to listen to my ideas (knowing nothing about landscaping in a big city) and incorporating them into his own with my concern for my economic circumstances.
Description of Work: Scott Ware was recommended to me by a neighbor after I complained about my previous gardner who had a policy of never weeding!! My back and front yards, although not very large (this is city living!), were completely overgrown and gave my property a "this house must be abandoned" look. I called Scott for the first time 5 years ago and the first year (in the early summer) he spent once a week until November simply "cleaning up", weeding, mowing and formulating a plan for a landscape design with some really good ideas for what would last through Chicago's severe winters.I have had a wonderful time with Scott whose work ethic rates an "A+" and whose careful planning and implementing of his suggestions rate the same overall "grade". He is sensitive to one's economic concerns and is reasonably priced for the excellent work that he does.
