Quick Key Locksmith

I got the coupon for a $99 rekey of four locks on two doors and then called to have them schedule with my tenant. They were courteous on the phone, took down the information, and then called the tenant to schedule. They gave me a heads up when they were on their way as a courtesy, and the job went smoothly. Excellent value for the money, frictionless transaction, totally efficient.

We have had Quick Key come by twice. First, back in March, we had them come to replace the lock on our mailbox, as the prior owner did not give us keys. We brought them back again in June to fix a problem with the latch on the lockset for the patio door. Both times the service has been prompt and professional. They normally respond to my inquiries through angieslist within a couple hours, have been able to schedule appointments promptly, and have always appeared right on time at the work site. The work has been efficient and they explained what they were doing at each stage in the process, including asking me how I wanted the work done. I have been very impressed and would recommend Quick Key to others. Shout out to Josh, who did very good work on the patio door!

Very impressed with the responsiveness, the locksmith came out same day and was very helpful in explaining why I needed a different kind of lock than I thought I did and making sure it was secured all the way into the wall stud, not just into the door frame.

It went extremely well. I got service immediately on a Saturday. Josh came to my home and explained what he would do to rekey the doors. He began work immediately and finished in about 3 hours. He did excellent work, was very professional and friendly. I would definitely rehire them.

No real issues, went as planned. Bought a angie's deal and ended up needed more work. Price was on par with other locksmiths (even with "deal"). Only downside was that they didn't have their key cutter with them (or it wasn't working) and so they were unable to provide copies.

I had a lock that was stripped. He came out twice, went to a lot of work, had a lot of determination and got it fixed. Had to put extra pieces in it to make it work. Great job. Would recommend in a heart beat. This was a year ago so I don't remember the dates or exact amount. It was a special, but worth any amount I would have paid. Didn't have to replace the lock, which living in a high-rise isn't really an option to find one that looks the same.

Josh was fantastic. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and was extremely well prepared. He analyzed the problem with the lock cylinder on the front door, and tried to fix the problem in the most cost-effective manner first (repairing the cylinder). While it appeared that the fix might work, after a few attempts at retesting the lock, the cylinder broke again. At this point, he was prepared to do the next most cost-effective option, which was to replace the handle/hardware in the door. He had all the parts and pieces, and before proceeding also asked for my input on key options. Did I want new keys, or did I want to customize the lock to the existing keys that all condo-owners had? Although it was a few dollars more, the customization was a better option for our condo-owners, so we proceeded with that option. I was grateful to have been informed of the costs/options before Josh proceeded. He finished the job within 30 minutes, and saved our condo owners a lot of hassle and inconvenience! I would absolutely use Quick Key for all of my lock service needs in the future, and would specifically ask for Josh if he's available! Thank you for a job well done!

Quick Key Locksmith did a fine job. They were quick, on time, and without fuss. It was on a deal, so it was very inexpensive.

Excellent service! I wanted new locks installed for my just purchased townhome. Gal arrived on time. He was professional and very knowledgeable. Without knowing purchased new deadbolts that have a reputation for being easily broken into. Gal educated me and advised me which dead bolts to purchase, he even waited for me to run to home depot and come back to install them and gave me his cell so I can text him a picture of what I am purchasing. Also I purchased an additional electronic deadbolt he carries in stock, which I am happy with.

Replaced the deadbolt and door handle lock on my new condo. Arrived promptly, explained that we would probably need a new lock set because the current one wasn't very secure (which we ended up doing later). Quick, easy, and priced pretty fairly.

Sagi went out of his way to make sure I was pleased. Key wasnt working in dead bolt properly. Removed dead bolt and found out it was improperly keyed from last locksmith. Fixed it perfectly and tighten the dead bolt. Alos looked at back door and realized the hinge was loose. Tightehen that up for me too!!!

I originally purchased the $19 deal for a service call. For the deal, two locks that were not working properly were repaired. I was extremely pleased with the results of the deal. I did not feel under pressure to have other work performed outside of the deal. However, I asked Sagi to look at two other old locks in my building that had been disabled. The locks needed to be replaced and needed gold plates to match the other locks on the door. We agreed on a price and Sagi went back to the office to see if they had the materials that we needed. He returned within the hour and completed the job. I was contacted within two days of purchasing the deal. Sagi arrived on time for the appt we scheduled and phoned that he was on the way. In performing the services, he also fixed items such as a lock that wouldn't catch that were not part of the estimate.

I can't say enough good about Quick Key. He came out on a Tuesday to fix my deadbolt lock. I live in a high-rise and have to conform to high-rise uniformity, so we couldn't replace the lock that easily. Someone had disabled the lock and removed the pin that makes it work. He took it apart several times to fix it, but didn't have the right size piece to replace it with. He went back to his shop to see if they had one there that would work and he didn't. He had another idea to make it work, but time didn't permit to do it that day. (I still have 2 working locks on the front door, so I didn't really care and it's been that way forever). He came back at the next available schedule for me, spent a lot of time filing down the trying to make it work. He had so much determination, that h*** or high water, he was going to get this to work. It certainly wasn't easy and was a big challenge, but he did get it to work. Thank you, thank you, thank you. His persistence paid off. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and bottom line fixed the lock. I couldn't be happier. I would recommend them to anyone needing a locksmith.

Gal was prompt and courteous. Both locks are the same brass and German made, so if I needed exact replacement parts there would be a lag for ordering and receiving them. Gal had a part to repair one and a silver replacement available for the other, which I went with. All done promptly.

1. The locks on my mom's door consisted of a "dead bolt" for the top lock and turn key for the bottom lock. 2. My Mom only had a key to open the bottom lock. The top lock had a different set of tumblers however she somehow had misplaced the key to the top lock 3. I explained the situation to Mr. Amit when he arrived so he suggested keying the locks so that one key would work for both top & bottom lock. however, the top lock which was the "dead bolt" lock was worn out and not functioning properly as it should have, Mr. Amit showed me all of this and how the lock should work. He told me the locks that were currently on the doors could easily be broken into and suggested that the locks be replaced. He quoted me the price for the new locks and I was fine with the price and told him to proceed with the installation. 4.After He was done, He swept up the little bit of "trash" that occurred during the installation!! 5. He then asked my Mom to go outside and try the door with her new key to make sure everything was working properly!!

Gal came on time, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He installed high quality locks, and gave me tips on other ways to keep my home secure. During some very hot and humid weather one lock on my garage was sticking and he came immediately to correct the problem. I would recommend Quick Key to anyone, they provide outstanding service.

Company representative called to move up appt, from planned time, we could not change time agreed upon prior to day of appt, and then representative showed up at least 1 hour later than scheduled time. Purchased deal for 2 hours of locksmith time, we asked about cleaning locks for exterior doors due to sticking issues, company stated cleaning would not help, causing lock to fail, and recommend purchasing a new lock which would be $120. At this time, we declined offer to purchase new locks, at which time company representatives left.

We had been having problems with our lock to our garage entry door for years, and it was finally on its last leg - so we called Quick Key to remedy the problem. We had been slamming the door, and therefore busted the lock and door jam to the point where I thought they might have to replace or repair the door. Quick Key was able to come the following day, which was what I requested and arrived promptly (a bit early actually) for our appointment. They remedied the door lock and then re-keyed, after the fact as I forgot to mention the need for this up front. Josh was pleasant, knowledgeable and fixed the door very quickly. And no repair necessary, just replaced the lock with a sturdy new one that we can continue to slam! Very pleased and would use them again if the need arises.

It went good. Very professional, scheduled the job and did the job quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The appointment was for 4:30pm, they finally arrived at 8:00pm. The work was great and quick although expensive, If they had been on time they would have received an A.

I received a call the day of service, when the provider was on the road to give me a more accurate time of arrival - which i greatly appreciated. When he arrived, he reviewed what he was going to do and what my options were. He completed the job and I had re-kweyed locks.
