it was OK. the deal is for a lock out call, you have to pay the additional lock out fee. i could have just drilled the door myself and cleaned up all the shavings.

It was a very simple visit, they just inspected and oiled a troublesome door lock.

The technician was professional and listened to my concerns regarding my front door lock and concerns over security issues. He gave good advice, but I did not have him change out the lock.

It went well. Provider was prompt and courteous. I was pleased with their representative's professionalism and expertise.

Quick key was on-time, professional, and did exactly as they were asked. The deal i purchased stated it was $25 extra for each lock, the locksmith quoted $35, then i showed him the deal, and with no problem honored the $25/lock. Great work.

They were super honest with me - replacing the entire lock set up was very expensive. They encouraged me to call the manufacturer with my measurements and see if it was still covered under warranty before I had them order anything. I followed Josh's advice, contacted Hoppe, and discovered that I only needed to replace one part (not the entire lock). What was looking like a $500+ project became a $70 part with a quick swap that Josh showed me how to do before he left. It didn't bring more work for the locksmith, but the honesty was refreshing. It worked for a few days and then was broken again. They gave me a refund.

Quick Key contacted me this morning to confirm my appointment time. Then Bobby (the installer) called to let me know he would be at my house 25 minutes before he arrived, which I also appreciated. He made sure he understood what he was to do, that I understood what the cost would be, and then proceeded to work! He was very professional, very neat, and even liked my dog! I would highly recommend Quick Key to my neighbors, and especially want to thank Bobby for his demeanor and work ethic. He was very patient with my questions, and I hope Quick Key acknowledges what a great employee he is!!!

I bought the Angie's List $19.00 special for a service call. Since I've had this issue with the gate lock seasonally as the door expands/contracts I knew it would take about 1 minute to correct the problem. Bobby was nice and on time and did in fact make the adjustment in about a minute. I was however surprised that there was an additional $35 charge for the adjustment. I had assumed that the $19 "for a service call" included the service.

Josh was outstanding. and the entire customer service and professionalism displayed by this company was amazing. The work was completed in a efficient manner , all old parts were returned, and the cost was extremely reasonable. Will definitely use again for any locksmith needs.

We used an Angie's List deal to have four locks rekeyed on two different doors. The technician and his apprentice were very nice, and both did a fantastic job on our doors. We have a very old house, and some of the hardware was outdated, but they had enough resources on hand to make it work. That was very much appreciated, because it's so frustrating sometimes when contractors show up without all the right tools. What's even better is that when they could not work with the fourth lock at all because of its strange derelict assembly, they allowed us to choose another lock around the property to make up for it and maximize the deal. We felt bad because they had already spent so much time messing around with that other lockset, but they happily stuck around and finished the job to our satisfaction. We would absolutely choose Quick Key Locksmith again for their services.

Scheduling was easy. There was some confusion about whether there would be an additional charge-- just make sure you have your angie's list coupon on you. We had it only electronically and it caused some confusion. But they saw that we paid in full.

It was expensive. It was more than what I thought it should have been. The tenant wasn't happy so I had to call them back out. They came back and they fixed it. They were on time.

Great. Friendly, ridiculously fast, knowledgable. Reasonably priced. Will always use them first in the future.

The service provider arrived a little bit after the agreed upon time. He got straight to work re-keying the doors on our new house. He did so quickly and without any problems. very happy with the service.

Our wrought iron gate lock was not working, so I made an appointment thinking it was a simple lock fix. Josh came out and discovered it wasn't the lock, it was electrical entrance mechanism, the thing you buzz to open the gate. We hadn't used that function in years, so to make a long story short, the real problem is that the ground had shifted through the years and our gate was too close to the locking mechanism, hitting it and causing all this damage. Josh tried numerous plates and replacement parts, but wasn't able to fix it. This is not a reflection on Josh, but the ground shift over the years is now requiring some fix that has to come from the iron gate and posts, not the lock. I want to stress that Josh was awesome, trying numerous options to fix the problem. Since he was there, and I was paying for the service call, he sprayed some stuff into my door locks to make them operate easier without jamming, as they were old locks. It was a bummer to learn I have a bigger problem than just the gate lock, but I learned a lot from Josh and was appreciative of his knowledge and expertise, and he only charged me for the service call. I would highly recommend this company based on my experience with Josh.

I have worked with Quick Key several times for various rental properties, mainly rekeying locks. They are very responsive and do great work.

they changed the lock then left, i had to leave and couldnt lock the door so they came back, i thought their fees were a little high and he left a mess after i asked him to clean up, I had to call his manager to have the charge reduced. as a result I wouldnt use them again. I didnt feel the guy was professional.

It was very simple to schedule our rekeying for the day we closed on our new house. He was punctual in his arrival and was done rekeying the doors before we even knew he started. Very quick and professional, would use again

Initially installation went fine and we were very pleased. However -- after just a few days, we noticed that the electric door strike on the gate was occasionally buzzing but failing to open the gate. We called Gal to come and look at it (which he claimed he did, although we were not there) and he said he saw no problems. As it wasn't happening all the time, we just got used to having to shove the door hard in order to get the door strike to work. Now, just a few months after installation, the problem is much worse, especially during bad rain (which we've obviously had plenty of), and the gate just doesn't open half the time. I've emailed and texted Gal multiple times as this problem has existed pretty much since he re-routed the intercom box, and aside from one email, he has essentially completely ignored our requests that he come and take a look at the door strike. So it appears that the work we paid for was shoddy, and he is refusing to stand by his service. We'll be using a different company to repair the gate -- don't use this guy for your project.
