It went amazing. we spent extra money, because we had him do extra work. He was responsive, professional and did excellent work. He was so good, we chose to use him for several other problems we were having. We were very happy with him.

There was a delay in arrival compared to our scheduled appointment time, but I was called and told when they could be expected. Very professional and knowledgeable, explaining the process for each lock. Even fixed one of the doors so that the closing was smoother and uninterrupted. I would not hesitate to use their services again if the need arises and would recommend them to others.

I was extremely happy with the service. The front door lock had a broken off key in it. When the broken part of the key was taken out, he was able to show me the corrosion that occurred inside the cylinder and I agreed it needed to be replaced. The basement door had a door handle lock and a dead bolt. When they were taken out, he showed me how cheap they both were and I agreed I wanted higher grade locks for both. The lock to the door out to the porch had always given me problems since it was installed 4years ago. He was able to show me how the plate was installed incorrectly and spent a long time fixing it so he could just re-key the lock. At all times I was told exactly what was going on, problems he was running into, and range of options. He really enjoyed his job, which especially came through when he was working on the porch lock. He said it was like a puzzle, and really worked hard, and long, to not have to replace the lock. At all times he was very professional. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend the company to anyone.

Showed up without the right working equiptment to re-key the existing locks, which is what they were hired for. Ended up replacing the locks. Good locks at a good price with good service, but was left with the impression they may have been intentionally up-selling (bait and switch).

I purchased the lock system on my own and they changed it.

Great. The original install was quick and efficient. When one of the door knobs stopped functioning, he honored his warranty and repaired at no charge.

Provider was late. From the moment he walked in my front door, it was a negative on everything I wanted done. He refused to install the locks that I provided which were Segal jimmy-proof locks and cost $50 a piece. He mentioned the fact that the current locks on my doors were Grade 3 which I already knew. He didn't want to cut/mortise the front doorframe to install the Segal deadbolt and mentioned that they could just install another single deadbolt which is not what I wanted to do. So on to the back door - I wanted him to swap out the cheap Grade 3 vertical deadbolt I already had for a Segal vertical deadbolt that I was providing. Then the talk started once again that if someone wanted to kick it in they could which I already knew and the reason for upgrading my locks. I am not impressed when contractors use the "fear factor" card to sell their own materials to you because they think you don't know any better. So none of the 4 Segal vertical deadbolts that I had on hand were installed and no work was done. This was a complete waste of my time. I wanted to use this provider based on other good reviews but it was obvious he did not want to do the work with the locks I provided or cut door frames which is what a skilled locksmith will do - I have had it done before at my other rental property with a similar type door and I know it is possible but time consuming and requires attention to detail. Response to provider: It was mentioned to the person answering your telephone what the scope of the work entailed before you came out. There was nothing "unsafe" about the locks that I had laid out with all parts ready to use which were Segal locks with thumb turns. You misunderstood my question to you and you have also misinterpreted the information that I gave you about the other locksmith(s). I also stand by my review and won't be making any more responses because it is not a constructive use of my time.

I originally contacted Quick Key when our back door lock broke. After describing the problem to Gal over the phone, he said that while he was happy to come out, based on our kind of door it was likely we would need a replacement part, so I may want to call the manufacturer first to order the part, to save the cost of the service call if he couldn't fix it. I did, got the part, and called Gal back on the evening the part arrived to set up a time for him to install it. He came out the very next day, worked around my child's school pickup schedule to find a time that worked, and had it fixed in 10 minutes flat. I really appreciated that he helped diagnose our problem over the phone, and definitely saved us the frustration of having to call him out twice!

Quick Key Locksmith was prompt and professional. They did a nice job replacing my deadbolt lock. I called them after the work was completed, because I forgot to ask them to re-key the lock. They scheduled a time to come back and take care of it for me. That's great service. I highly recommend them. --- This is a follow-up to the second appointment. They showed up for the appointment promptly and were professional, efficient. and courteous. Again - Highly recommended.

Gal was very punctual. I actually purchased a better lock from him than the one I had, which he then installed. Very professional.

Great job they explained what type of lock was best and replaced it quickly very satisfied and pleased job well done. Good customer service friendly and polite too.

Gal was excellent and responsive. Very helpful and creative. Gal came out several times to measure to get the exact part for the multi-point locking mechanism that had broken since it was coming from Germany. "Measure twice, cut once". He was flexible with time and was always able work around my schedule. He went above and beyond by taking care of the hinges and strike plate without charging me. I would recommend Gal for any and all locksmith projects.

Quick key was extremely professional. I call a few locksmiths about the problem we had with our front door not locking from the outside. We have a special security door in our home and unlike the other locksmiths, Quick Key was familiar with this type of door. They came the next day, explained the issue with the door/lock and proposed a cost-effective solution.

We first called Gal to rekey all the outside locks on our new house the day after we moved in. Gal came out the same day within an hour of calling. He was very fast and efficient with his work and had the best rate we found. Well worth it to sleep soundly. Not only that that today when I called about a lock not working properly, he came right out to fix it. The issue wasn't even a result of his previous work but he fixed it anyway at no charge and stayed to make sure I was comfortable with how to work the lock. He is a capable locksmith and a really nice guy. I would definitely recommend him to a friend, and will definitely call him in the future if I need a locksmith again. If you ever need a locksmith, this is the guy to call. A+

Gal from Quick Key was very responsive. He was able to change the locks and rekey everything for us. Additionally, he also had a welder that he recommended for our fences to increase the security on the fences. Overall, everything went well. Thanks Gal.

This guy was so accommodating. I recently purchased a new condo and kept rescheduling because the work took longer than expected (what a surprise). He was very pleasant every time I called to reschedule and I appreciated the no hassle regarding this.

Great - On Time & great to deal with

We needed some new locks for our commercial space doors. I called Quick Key and had an apt the next day. Gal was on time, very informative and quite thorough. He answered all of our many questions, advised us on the best locks for our needs and price point and had them fully installed the same day. Great guy and I highly recommend him!

It went excellent. We needed important files and records within our storage locker, but we had misplaced our key. We called Gal and he was super understanding of the urgency. He was able to get to our storage locker within an hour. Super cool, super friendly guy. He was able to open our locker up in no time (think Beverly Hills Cop) which was quite impressive considering that the lock we had on our unit was super sturdy and secure, a six pin lock in fact. Not only was Gal punctual, friendly, and efficient, but he was really affordable. The other locksmiths we had contacted were charging a $100 higher-asking price than Gal was. They listed the services between $175-$200, but Gal was able to work with us on a reasonable price. I would recommend him to anyone!

Gal is super polite, responsive and punctual. The services were completed with care as well as some how-to tips regarding the keypad handle. Would definitely hire for any locksmith needs in the future.

Gal was accessible, quick, professional, and honest. To tell you the truth, I dob't really know how much service, deadbolts, locks, and doorknobs cost. To replace two deadbolts & two doorknobs it cost $360 with a 10% Angie's list discount which brought it down to about 324. I took his word for it. Apparently the existing locks were "cheap." I would have to agree as I believe we replaced the stupid things less than 2 1/2 years ago. He does not take credit cards so I had to be billed. I will be sending him a check. Overall I'm very pleased with our service.

It was very good. I was very satisfied. He was very professional. He knew what he was doing. He did over and above what was minimum. I think it took him two days to come out. It cost me 20 bucks. I called him and set up an appointment and he showed up on time. Everything went smoothly. There was a lot more wrong with the lock than I thought it was and he fixed it!
