They were exceptionally very good. I would use them again in the future. I have recommended them for many others.

Frankie was scheduled to arrive at 9:30am to provide an estimate for fence repair or possible replacement. At 10am he still hadn't shown. I called the office and spoke with a nice women who was apologetic and said she'd contact Frankie and call me back immediately. I never heard back from anyone.

The company originally missed an appointment to come out for an estimate. When we contacted him again he was very apologetic and came out promptly. Unlike other companies, he told us we did not have to replace the entire railing but could replace just the bars that had rusted through. Within four days he had done the work, which looks fine and matches the rest of the railing. Everything was done promptly and neatly, with nothing for us to clean up. We were given an Angie's List discount on the work.

They were very professional. So far they are wonderful and do what they say.

I contacted Pro Fence to provide an estimate to repair the front gate of my condominium building. Pro Fence promised to inspect the property (I wouldn't have to be there, because it was the front gate and the damage prevented the gate from closing or locking) and provide an estimate within 2 days. I did not receive an estimate or any other information and, on the third day, contacted Pro Fence. I was told that the inspection had not been made, but that they would inspect the property that day or the next and provide an estimate by the following afternoon. Nothing happened. I again contacted Pro Fence for an estimate and was again told that my gate would be inspected and an estimate provided the following day. This time, I told Pro Fence that I had a competing estimate, but that I would still like to give them the opportunity to bid on and perform the work. Pro Fence promised to provide me an estimate the following morning, but never did. At no time did Pro Fence ever contact me, I always had to contact them.

I decided to work with another contractor.

My husband and I called the company and they came out to do an estimate. We have a very small, backyard, so we just needed a small fence to contain our 2 large dogs. We were happy with the price they gave us, so we scheduled the worked to be done. We explained that we needed the fence to be secure, to keep the dogs from escaping the yard. The workers came out within 2 weeks of our estimate. It only took them 2 days to set the posts and install the fence. After the work was finished my husband and I noticed the gate did not securely close. They had installed a locking gate and provided us with keys, but it could be opened without the key, just by jiggling it. It took several phone calls and missed appointments before the company came back to fix the gate. The fence was not set as low to the ground as we would have liked, and we were concerned our dogs could dig out, so we added a railroad tie to prevent this. Also, there was a board in the fence that had not been secured properly. A few weeks after the install, my dogs were able to loosen the board and get into our neighbor's yard. My husband replaced the board and reinforced it himself.

Everything went extremely well. Frankie came over to give us an estimate very quickly after contacting him. He also explained in detail everything that would be done. When the work began, they did a great job getting as much done in between rainy days as possible, and the man who did all the painting was excellent and so hard-working. Everyone I dealt with was very, very polite and professional. I would highly recommend Pro Fence Chicago to anyone!
