We contacted Power Plumbing's emergency line due to a noisy water pressure pump that was malfunctioning. They were prompt in responding and talked us through the solution over the phone at no charge. The support person was thoughtful, detailed and polite, and she helped us avoid an unnecessary bill. Major kudos to Power Plumbing.

We had an outside spigot leak and Power Plumbing responded quickly by coming first thing the next morning. They worked quickly and professionally to fix the problem and explain what happened.

The actual work was done very well and the person who did the work was very professional. Overall I was happy. When I first called they wanted to make sure that they could do the work. I guess they were not sure about this particular device. They wanted to first check with the manufacturer. That seemed reasonable. The negative was that this took about 6 weeks. They did not call me back 3 or 4 times when I called to follow up. To be fair, the work was not anything urgent and I was not in a hurry. I would use them again.

They were very thorough. They did meet my expectations. It was 2 men and they were on time and they were very good. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They were here for about an hour and a half. I would look somewhere else first before I used them again. They were a little lazy but they did good once I pushed them a little.

Their service is great! I've used them several times before. They are very efficient and always explain what they are doing.

When I called, I'm sure they were getting a lot of estimate requests due to the floods the weekend prior. However they had promised call backs that I didn't receive, I had to keep calling to get a response. I finally got someone to come out for an estimate and he was on time and professional. Again I had to follow up with them to get the estimate sent to me. The price that they came in at was double what I was getting from other companies. When I called to get some explanation on the cost, they challenged that the other companies don't pay their guys as well. I pushed for more information and was told I would get a call from the estimator, which never came.

I contacted Power Plumbing twice before I got a call back. When I finally did speak with Rea, I was told the work probably couldn't be completed the same week (I called on a Monday) and that I would recieve a call back with a date they could come out. I didn't hear back for two more days. During that time, I called another plumber who was able to come out right away. By the time Power Plumbing got back to me, the problem was already resolved.

They did a very good job. They came in and put a new water heater in. It happened on a weekend and we had visitors over so they came in on Monday and fixed it.

He came out on a Friday and after looking at the project told me he would get back to me the next week. After not hearing anything I sent an email, which was also not returned. I then called and was told the "estimator" had left early for the Labor Day holiday, but that Pat had given them the information and someone would be contacting me. It's now September 8th and still no one has contacted me. They like to advertise the fact that they are a 2007 Angie's List Award winner but apparently forgot that doing the things which earned them the award can't be put aside or forgotten about once they have the award in hand. Best advice, keep looking for someone else

Mike and Gus came out. They were very friendly. They explained and showed me everything and they did a great job cleaning up.

The plumber was extremely prompt. He inspected the shower and then took a look at the pipes in our basement leading to/from the shower drain. He pointed out that the drain pipe was set at an angle where draingage will be a problem--something that was pointed out to us by the home inspector when we bought the house. He did say that it wasn't something that needed to be fixed quickly, and cleared the drain and gave us a short-term solve in case the water backed up again. When my husband asked about water pressure, he took the time to examine the house main and suggested replacing that once we added on to the house.

My old water heater started leaking very late one evening. Another company come out to inspect/service it and quoted $1200 for replacement the next morning with a Bradford White 40 gallon 40,000 BTU unit. They were unwilling to negotiate the price, but I tentatively scheduled the replacement given the concerns about the old one busting and my plans to leave town in less than 15 hours. Since the price seemed high, I wanted to research my options and basically had, from midnight until the scheduled appointment the next morning to accomplish this! I scoured the internet and Angie's List and after reading good reviews about Power, left a message for them at midnight. Rae promptly returned my call the next morning at 7:30 am and in addition to being pleasant and patient, gave a lower quote for $900-$1100 (since she hadn't seen the exact set up) for the exact same thing!! Given time constraints with my schedule, and unfortunately needing the work done immediately, they could not guarantee this schedule, which I completely understood. But, Rae, without hesitation, helped talk me through what to say to the original company to negotiate the work to get a better price. This was unheard of to me, and I can't say enough what a pleasure she was to work with. I wish my schedule would have allowed me to use Power, but thanks to them, I was able to successfully negotiate a better price with the first company and get the work done on my schedule. Based on their superior customer service, I think they seem like a great and more affordable priced option! If I need work in the future, they will be the first place I call!

They were fantastic company. They came out to give me an estimate. They lived up to their estimate. He was very well dressed. The equipment was also clean. The company was a first class act. I would recommend this company to everyone. They treated me like family. It is a female owned company. I would not go no where else.

When I called, the person answering the phone was very helpful and informative regarding some of the things I needed to look for in a new toilet (have a 14 in rough in). Directed me to locations that carry the non-standard size and called before the appointment to let me know they had one if I had trouble finding a 14 inch size. The plumber, Scott, arrived on time and fixed the leaking tub drain without going through the ceiling. Everything seems to be working

Levon arrived within the given time frame. He was very courteous and got the job done in 2 hours. I was very surprised that he managed to remove the existing toilet, carry it down 3 flights of stairs to the dumpster and install the Toto toilet in such a short time frame. I had heard that Toto's were difficult to install, so I was happy everything went so smoothly. He explained everything in detail to me before he began working. I was also very impressed with how well he cleaned everything up too!

They were able to come out the next day, as requested. Arrived early, called to let me know they were coming. They sent out Levon, who discussed everything before proceeding, giving me options and telling me the pros and cons of each approach. He was polite, clean, and removed everything when leaving. Showed me everything he had done, ran everything with me there to make sure it worked. Would happily hire again.

Excellent. I requested the earliest time possible and they were very accommodating. He called the day before to set up a time and arrived as promised. He was very careful working around our new cabinets and cautious with everything else in the kitchen as well. I will definitely use this company in the future. A big thanks to Gus!

I made an appointment for a Saturday with no hassle and the guy came out right on time. Told him what I needed done and he got to work right away. Once the pipe and vent were installed and hooked up to the sink, he suggested that the sink be bolted to the floor to keep it level and in position. I agreed and he did the work right away. I also asked some questions about the existing plumbing in the building and he offered some good suggestions.

I purchased a house that was bank owned and was not property winterized. The plumbing was pretty hodge podge, so I selected Power Plumbing due to the Angie's List response. They were very helpful and responsive. The initial plumber sent to start the job was on time at 7:00 A.M. As the inspection went on, he did the repairs to a number of pipes that burst due to freezing. Jesse the plumber was very thorough with his inspection and took the time to explain the problem.

Two workers came out for pipes that were backed up spilling water into toilet and bathtub. They were very efficient, polite and knowledgeable.

Everything about our experience with Power Plumbing was first rate, from the initial contact to the service. And it was not expensive by plumber standards. The person who set up the appointment was very helpful and efficient. We called in the late afternoon and had a plumber the next morning (it was a non emergency problem). Jesse, the plumber, arrived right on time and he was fast, efficient, friendly, and full of good advice. He is a real professional. He manged to solve several problems in the space of one hour. I will definitely call on Power for all future plumbing needs, and I will ask specifically for Jesse.

Wonderful! Jason visited our office for the initial estimate, came up with a clever solution for rerouting the pipes that 3 other companies & I had missed, and got an estimate to me within a day. Day of job, they showed up on time, were very courteous and respectful, completed the job on time & left everything in better shape than when they got here.

I called for service because the water pressure was low in the whole house. Gus came on time, assessed the problem, replaced the master flush. He was knowledgeable and professional. He realized that the problem was due to a malfunctioning water heater. He recommended replacing the water heater and flushing the pipes.

We called them one morning because two of our three toilets were leaking and causing the water to cycle on every minute or so. They happened to have someone in the area and showed up about 20 minutes later. Woman on phone and man who showed up (his name escapes me now) couldn't have been nicer. He had the part for one toilet in his van, and fixed that one quickly. Then he walked me through the work so I could do it myself on the second one (if I wanted to). I have since done exactly that, with great results.
