I initially discovered Power Plumbing thru Angie's List and did not hesitate to contact them again. The problem was resolved immediately. The technician was professional, knowledgeable, and neat, thoroughly cleaning the area after service was completed. I would recommend this company without hesitation and will contact them should I have a need in the future!

They have been excellent. They are incredibly professional and pay attention to detail. They are prompt and do good, quality work.

The dispatched plumber was courteous, friendly and efficient. He resolved my problem within a half-hour and did not leave my house until he was assure the problem would not recur. if you have a plumbing problem, this is the firm to call to fix it.

Things turned-out well; it was an okay experience. They ended up breaking one of our toilets, but did repair it. I just felt that since they broke it, they shouldn't have charged for the time to put in the new toilet.

I rent out a high-rise condo in Chicago, and my then-tenant was reporting to me that the water from the sinks, shower and washer was consistently dirty. Whenever the maintenance people on site inspected it, they found no problem after simply running the water for a bit. But my renter insisted the problem wasn't fixed, and eventually the on-site maintenance people washed their hands of it, no pun intended. Well, I decided to contract a plumber to go out and investigate, and I chose Power Plumbing. I spoke to a gentelman there, whose name I'm very embarrassed to say I have now forgotten, and he was very polite, patient, and seemed genuinely interested in trying to determine what could be the problem. He then connected me to Rae to set up a service appointment, and she was courteous and patient as well. Unfortunately, due to scheduling problems with my then-tenant, who, as it turns out, did not want to cooperate with me in getting a plumber up there to investigate, I was never able to schedule a service time. Said tenant then moved out, a property manager took over the unit for me, and there's been no reports of water problems since. So, although I did not actually have Power Plumbing do any work for me, I was very pleased with their prompt returning of phone calls, their persistence in trying to set up a time with my tenant, and their courtesy and professionalism.

It went beautifully. James arrived on time, went right to work, gave me options for fixing the problem (see above) and cleaned up after himself, even sweeping behind my fridge and helping me replace the microwave on the fridge. I would recommend this company to anyone.

I worked with John, and was very happy with his professionalism, honesty, creativity in solving the problems, and ability to cooperate in an environment where several other groups were working simultaneously. The appliances work as expected, the tub now drains, and has been properly re-sealed.

This was an after-hours emergency call on a Saturday evening. Levon explained the after hours charges, but the rodding couldn't wait. Levon and Bob came out promptly, took care of the problem, and explained what we should do for prevention. Yes, an after-hours call is expensive, but when you need it you need it. As the daughter of a skilled tradesman who was always being called for emergencies on nights, weekends, holidays, etc., I certainly don't hold it against anyone in the trades for establishing some policies so that they can hope for some down-time during their work week.

I called Power on a Sunday and received a call on Monday morning saying that a plumber would be coming that day between 10 and 2; she also explained the charge for the type of work that needed to be done. At noon I received another call saying that the plumber would arrive in 20 minutes. The plumber arrived on time and I explained the problem to him. He looked things over and told me what had to be done. He started working and was finished in about an hour. He was friendly, professional, and helpful. He explained everything that he did and gave me other advice about the hot water heater. My experience with Power and with John Morzy was by far the best plumbing service I have ever had done. Power is the only plumbing company that I will call for my future plumbing needs.

Overall the process went very well. The crews were willing to work around our own schedules, and the only delays were due to the shipment of replacement parts. The work crews were professional and did everything that was needed.

Both plumbers, John and James were very nice, very professional and did an outstanding job.

Called company to perform work on my property located in the inner city. I had work done to the property previously and was looking for resolution to a specific issue. At first when i called in they gave me excellent customer service. I was able to speak to someone right away. I spoke to a young lady at the firm and told them of my dilemma and told I needed work and an estimate done right away. They said they could do it but they would charge me time and half for the inconvenience with was very expensive for only two hours of work. I told them that I already rotted the pipes and that what I was looking for was them to examine the pipes and fix the problem. Well to my dismay when they reached the property all they did was rod the pipes again and left. The very next day my basement filled up with raw sewage. I tried calling them again and I was bounced from one representative to another. I escalated the issue to upper management which did no good they told me they would call me back and after two days of not hearing a response I called back. I was told that power plumbing has no responsibility for the work that was performed and that there was nothing they could do for me. Also when speaking to representatives in there office I got the distinct feeling like they thought they were to big to fail or care for the ordinary client. I then called lincoln sewers dealt with a fellow named pancho who came out discovered the issue. All i needed was to install wider pipes at certain places and clear the line of tree roots from a tree in front of the house. They discovered the issue in less than 15 min something that power plumbing could not do in 2hrs.

Found them very easy to deal with: clear and upfront about their costs, which seem a bit high, but perhaps are normal scale, called before they came, were prompt, professional, and polite. I felt like I'd made the right choice, and they're union, which is a plus.

Very good experience overall. Before even getting started, Patrick did a great job talking me through all the options and potential issues associated with a project of this scale. They were creative and most focused on getting the job done without having to overly disrupt my yard or my house. The installation was done without issue and you can hardly tell that they were ever there. I appreciate the craftsman ship and concern about how the job would affect our living conditions. Great work and I would definitely contact them again (though hopefully I won't have to)

After our regular plumber gave us Power Plumbing's name because he couldn't fix the problem on his own, I gave them a call and they were out first thing the next morning so that we would avoid paying night call prices. They came by at 8 in the morning and were done by about 2pm. Bob explained everything that he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Whenever the plan changed, he made sure that I was aware. His previous work experience with People's Gas came in handy and he was able to get the job done as best as he could. I would DEFINITELY use them again for any of our plumbing needs.

The plumber (James) arrived early, which we appreciated. He was extremely courteous and friendly. James put plastic "footies" over his boots to assure that no water would be tracked around the house. James explained the procedure he would use in detail and went right to work. James completed the task expertly and efficiently! Finally, James cleaned up after himself, although I told him it was not necessary. Overall, we are extremely pleased with our experience and we will definitely use this service again AND refer them to family and friends!

Checked all faucets at my request as one was leaking. Found they all had same defect, and fixed them all in very timely manner. This company knows what it is doing! This is the second service call and I have complete confidence in them. Their plumbers are professional, knowledgeable and extremely polite. I would highly recommend them. They also helped get me a service person for a hot water tank issue.

Plumbing under our sink was leaking slightly and poorly done when our granite counters were installed. I did not have the time to fix it myself so we called Power Plumbing based on their ratings in Angie's list. The plumber arrived on time to do the job and tackled it in an hour, installing a new garbage disposal per my request as well. He was extremely friendly and did professional work. He also clearly explained a larger issue with the plumbing that was directly related to the granite installation (something the granite installers *should* have told me up front). He resolved that with a low-cost approach, which was exactly what I was looking for, and also explained to me what was necessary for it to be done correctly. He even gave my 3 year old a coloring book! I do think an extra half hour was slipped onto the labor costs unfairly. That would be my only negative. All in all, however, I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, I recommended them to all the unit owners in my condominium building.

Power Plumbing was very responsive and quick to arrive on Sunday to clean out a sewer back up. The work itself was very professional, and the two plumbers had to go up on our roof to perform the cleaning because there was no clean-out or other access to the sewer line on the ground. However, I was quoted a $500 per hour Sunday-time labor rate and a two-hour minimum, which is how long the job took. When I mentioned the Angie's list coupon for 10% off labor for sewer cleaning, the plumber told me was already giving me a break, but I am not sure how that could be because I was charged $1000, which was the $500 per-hour labor rate/two-hour minimum that he quoted to me over the phone, and the job did not require any materials. So where did my "break" come in?

wonderful as usual called Monday afternoon came out within the hour to check out problem came out next morning and job was done within 3 hours. gas was turned off Monday by the gas company by law Tuesday gas was turned back on by 1pm ..a tragic problem taken care within less then 24 hours...

They turned up on time, game me verbal quotations for the work to be done in a couple of ways, told me about the issues I faced and promised an emailed quotation by the end of the week. This never came, so I called Tuesday next week and asked for my quotation. They apologised and promised to send it straight away. They failed to do so.

Woke up to find no hot water, a split tank, water on the basement floor. Reviewed my Angie's list options, contacted Power Plumbing around noon. By 4 p.m. I had a new hot water heater installed and operating. They were able to give me a quote by phone. While they initially brought one water heater to the job site, upon inspection they discovered it wouldn't work and so they retrieved another. They were accomodating on pricing and made me feel I was treated very fairly.

They came out really quick to check on the issue. They were very timely and good. The issue with my water heater was that there was a problem with the water supply; a valve was stuck. They took about 15 minutes to complete the work, but they had a minimum service charge of $140. I felt that the price was fine, since they had to make money for coming out. I had called other companies before approaching them. They were the first company to respond in that emergency situation. It took them only about an hour and a half to come out. I will definitely hire them back in the future.
