The plumber showed up on time and was courteous and professional, which is the experience we've had every time we've used Power Plumbing. He was knowledgeable and was able to identify the location of the leak. We were told that he would have to order the part and would be getting back to us to schedule another appointment to replace the motor when the part came in. After 3 weeks had passed, I called to follow up, figuring the part had not yet arrived. The person who answered the phone remembered our situation and immediately realized that our case had fallen through the cracks somehow, and apologized that nobody had gotten back to us to tell us that their plumbers do not fix jacuzzi tubs (the plumber who came out was new to the company and did not realize this) and recommended a jacuzzi repair company. I was frustrated by the whole thing, so I spoke to a manager at the company. She was very helpful and apologetic about the mishap and agreed to refund an hour and a half off the time that was charged to us. I was pleased with that, especially since, in all fairness, I had neglected to mention that it was a jacuzzi tub during the original call (since we had never had service on our jacuzzi before, I did not realize that this fact would be important). I will use Power Plumbing again in the future and realize this was just a matter of miscommunication. Overall, Power Plumbing has done some great work for us in the past, and the fact that they are willing to do whatever it took to remedy the situation and keep a long-time customer happy meant a lot to us.

I usually don't write reviews, which should say something as to how pleased I am with this service. I had John Morzy from Power Plumbing come install a faucet, which is simple, but the way he did it was as perfect as could be. He was on time, took off his shoes, had fun stories while he was working, worked quickly. He even fixed my shower head, which turned out it was just clogged. I wouldn't even consider calling any other company if I need plumbing help in the future. I rated the company "A" for price because it seemed a fair price for faucet, but it made it very much worth my while because of the free advice/help with m shower.

Angie's List needs an A+ ! These guys were great. John was the representative that came to my home. He was fantastic. Everything you want in a service person that comes to your home. Prompt, professional, knowledgeable and ready to get to the problem. He fixed everything with a minimal amount of time and fuss. Explained everything he did. Why it was different in my 90 year old house. Lastly, he was friendly and personable. That is the type of person you want in your home. The only thing that could have made this a better service call was if it was for free.. but that not gonna happen. Power Plumbing and Sewer is top notch. That are my new go to plumbing company.

Excellent service, very clean and neat, and very concerned that things were done right. Described what needed to be done and did it quickly and efficiently. Very professional and would highly recommend the company to other individuals.

l wanted the work done with a week of my initial call, which they were able to do. The plumber was very nice, didn't leave too much for me to clean up and was able to complete all work within one day, for which I was very happy. The toilet in the master bath had to be removed to locate the item that had fallen in the toilet to cause the problem. So that they could complete the work all in one day, they sent over a second plumber to work on the master toilet. We had removed the old kitchen sink ourselves to cut down on labor costs. However, they went ahead and took the old kitchen sink (cast iron and heavy) along with the old toilet and pedestal when they left. I would definitely recommend Power Plumbing and will contact them in the future if I am in need of a plumber.

Overall, the process was fine. He arrived promptly, fixed the toilet handle, and replaced a leaky garbage disposal. The other toilet was a more complicated problem, but he persevered and found what was wrong. All is working fine now.

We had a clogged toilet that would not succumb to the normal plunging. I called Power Plumbing on a Saturday and within 5 minutes of speaking to the answering service had a phone call from a plumber (John M) that he was just wrapping up a job nearby and would be there in 30 minutes (Wonderful!). John arrived promptly and fixed our current issue, but also worked to resolve future drain clogs by using the hour we were paying for wisely and helping us better utilize our "modern toilets" by increasing the water capacity during flush. We really appreciate that the only incrememental cost in this was parts (only 40 dollars) and that it will help prevent us from future issues. On top of that, John is incredibly kind and helpful and we look forward to using his services again in the future. Great find!

Power was called along with two other firms to work in our 7 story building. The firm was choosen based on their complete and best bid. Scope of work was the replacement of hot water pipes and water supply to the bolier. Work was done ontime and on budget.

Our condo building was having water pressure surges and strange sounds from the water pump in the basement. Patrick of Power Plumbing came to analyze the situation and gave us great insight into what we needed to remedy our water pressure issues.

The scheduler answered my phone call promptly and we easily found a date for a plumber to come out. The plumber called before he came out and was on time. He was very professional and pleasant, and worked very hard to fix the bathtub drain. Although complete repair of the drain would have required major work, he figured out a way to DRAMATICALLY improve the drain time at very low cost. I'm sure this wouldn't be possible in every situation, but it fit my needs perfectly! I have used this company in the past and was confident that they would do another good job. James did not disappoint; in fact, next time I'll ask for him by name.

Our kitchen sink backed up the Saturday morning before Christmas. I could not let it go until the day after Christmas because we had a ton of family coming in that afternoon to stay for eight days. That included our 21 month old granddaughter. Two men were here within an hour. It took them quite a while to rod the sink, but they told me something that no one had ever told me before -- that when you run the disposal, do it for at least three minutes. In many many years of owning disposals no plumber had ever told me that before. The bill was extremely high because it was a holiday, but I did not call other places for quotes since we had to be at the airport in a few hours, but also because I knew from prior experience that Power Plumbing does a great job.

They did what I asked them to do thoroughly. When there was a problem, they came back for free. The guy who came out was very friendly and I have not had any problems with the plumbing.

The plumber arrived when scheduled. Fixed and replaced my kitched faucet, and cleaned the drain excellently.

In the three weeks after my son was born, everything in our house that could break or fall apart did. This nightmare included our kitchen sink backing up, with both sides full of water that would not drain. With bottles and dishes to wash and cooking to do, this was a disaster. I called Power Plumbing on a Sunday to inquire about their emergency after-hours services, but, as expected, it would have cost a small fortune to have them come that day; I recall the cost being close to $600. First thing Monday morning the office called me and arranged for a plumber to come that same day. James was wonderful, a gentleman and a pleasure to chat with while he worked. He unclogged our clogged sink and then explained to us why garbage disposals are not the best idea and that we should really try not to use it because kitchen pipes (everywhere, not just ours) have never evolved to handle the flow of solid waste (unlike bathroom pipes, which are built for this). Therefore, eventually everyone with a disposal is going to end up with pipes full of junk. Not even two weeks later, we had James back again when the pipe behind our master bathroom toilet began dripping. The cost was the same: $145. However, since it didn't take James long to fix our toilet, he offered to check our sinks to make sure they were working well since we were already paying him for an hour of labor. I would most definitely call Power Plumbing & Sewer Inc. again, and I would ask for James.

We had what sounded like a leak in the basement ceiling for the past few weeks which has steadily gotten worse. Though I had no visible signs of water, I decided to have John come by and investigate. He was on-time, professional as ever, and took his time eliminating possible causes for what sounded like a leak. He discovered that the toilet seal had been broken and that the toilet in the master bath needed to be remounted, which he did a great job completing. Since there was no visible evidence of a leak he gave me the option of having him start creating holes in the ceiling so he could take a look....but, consistent with his usually integrity and honestly, he told me to wait. He said that because we couldn't find any place to start looking that he may have to create several head-sized holes in different locations to find the possible leak. He recommended waiting until we had some visible sign of water and then have him back out so he knew where to focus his investigation, which would keep him from creating a number of unnecessary holes in the ceiling and walls. I followed his advice and will be watching and waiting to see if there is any damage for him to follow.

They called back from my phone call and we agreed on a time to come out. However, they never showed up for the appointment.

They came out to look at it, and told us we needed to have an entire wall removed in order to fix the issue. We had a second consultation and they told us that that didn't need to be done. This second company fixed it for free and we haven't had any issues with it.

Never had anyone come out because the receptionist was so rude.

Power plumbing has always been responsive and punctual in several of our building's past jobs, and this job was no different. While it turned out to cost more than we expected, that seems to be the norm in plumbing world. They did a good job on a relatively simple pipe replacement and gave us estimtates for future work on our water heater which will need to be replaced in the near future

They give good service. The guys are nice, neat and clean up after themselves.

I had Power Plumbing & Sewer out in the past, November 2011. I liked them, but thought not to call them back because of the prior price. A bit high to what i thought it should've been, and 2 guys. But, I called them back because they solved my problem before. This time, they wanted to send 2 guys again. I thought it was going to be expensive, and it was, but THEIR SERVICE WAS WORTH THE PRICE. I found with 2 guys, 1 guy feeds the camera, while the other guy views the screen. One guy wasn't successful with rodding, so they switched roles and the other guy tried. He was successful in ridding the blockage. If there was just 1 guy there, and he couldn't rid the blockage, then I'd end up calling another plumber to try. This was not the case. In summary, 2 guys were needed with the camera, rod, and toilet install. I would definitely call Power Plumbing & Sewer again and recommend others give them a try.

I felt that Mike did an okay job, but as the first appointment of the day, they said he would be at my house at 8. He arrived around 8:15 and was in his car for a few minutes. He replaced my broken disposal and added a valve so I could shut off my outside water in the winter. Overall, I think he did a good job, but he charged me for 2.5 hours, when he was actually working for two and the hourly rate was150/hour minus 10% for Angie's members. He also charged me $20 for misc. parts for the disposal. I hardly think I should have to pay $20 for a couple nuts and bolts. I felt nickel and dimed, and frankly ripped off. I'm sure there are other Angie's list companies that are more fair with their pricing. I also had to pay $10 for gas for driving to my house. Way too many hidden fees for me.

The company came at the appointed time and were very professional. My only issue was the very unreasonable charge for material.
