Thank you for your call yet I never received it. I am sure we could have transformed your home with color as we have for hundreds of other clients as seen in these reports. Sorry you did not attempt to call again with the assumption that the message just did not go through. You must had had a bad day at work to give someone an F for what could be your error. I trust your project was a success regardless.

Kelly had great design ideas and the finished room looks amazing. The wall paper was a very difficult pattern, and I honestly can't imagine anybody doing a higher quality job with that or the paint. They even wall papered the socket covers. It all looks incredible!

They were fantastic. She is very professional, and she knew what I liked. She's quite a perfectionist and really wanted to do the job right. I love the work that she did. She has a great personality, and she inspires you to want to do wonderful things. She respects your input, and takes that into consideration.

One of the owners (can't recall her name) who had come to give the estimate. She spent all of five minutes assessing the area and gave me an extremely high estimate (in the range of $4,000). I asked her why it was so high and that I had gotten previous estimates around half that amount. Her response was "well, you should go with one of those companies then". Very arrogant. Would not recommend.

Response from Paint the Town Red
First of all I would like to apologize to the member. (I will call her as well). I think that there may have been a misunderstanding since I have never had this reaction before (this comment is not congruent with the rest of our reports). Regardless, what i was trying to express to Tina, is that you get what they pay for and I understand that it is really difficult to compare apples to apples in the painting and contracting industry since all workmanship is not equal. I always share with homeowners that we are a painting and decorating company that transforms people's environments with color and texture. I work with homeowners and business owners who want to invest in their home and see the value in our creativity, professionalism and years of expertise. So most painting bids don't include what we do - we offer a niche service that is very custom to each home. If that was not explained as well as it could have been to her I truly apologize. I am 100% dedicated to re-creating my clients homes in collaboration with them and I love it! Sorry this estimate did not go well for you. That was not my intention.

The guys arrived on time and were extremely professional. They covered all of the floors including the area from the front door to the bedroom so they wouldn't track anything around the house. They used only low VOC paint so there wasn't any smell. The door trim and crown moulding is beautiful. They did a great job of patching all of the nail holes and the paint lines are all perfect. I notice that right away. After the first day, they would have picked everything up including all of the floor covering, but I told them they could leave it down as they were coming back the next morning very early. I thought that was very nice of them. They again came to the house right on time and got right to work. They had to work around several other trades that were working at the same time, and they couldn't have been more gracious. When they finished, they picked everything up, and returned all of the furniture to it's original spot. We asked them to help move the bed a couple of times and they were very accomodating. Both rooms are beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. I also use Kelly Fitzsimmon for interior decorating. She picked the colors for the rooms, is helping with fabrics for the bed and draperies, and picked out a fantastic chandelier for the bathroom. She also designed my living/dining room, which I posted in a review last fall. So I obviously think she does a great job as we are moving forward on more house projects.
Description of Work: Prepped the master bedroom and bathroom for painting. Moved all of the furniture into the center of the room, covered all of the furniture and floors. Installed crown moulding in master bedroom, caulked, repaired and painted all of the trim work in the master bedroom and bathroom, painted the same bedroom and bathroom with two coats of paint. Interior Design - helped pick paint colors, fabrics, lighting, and other design elements for the master bedroom and bathroom.

My experience with Paint the Town Red has been very mixed. Parts of it (the consultation with Kelly the owner and the actual paint job) were great. Other parts of it have been very bad and extremely frustrating as I continue to try to get straight answers to my questions - as well as some serious issues resolved. For the painting part of the work they did I would give them an ?A?. The grade ?D? is due to the still unresolved work they did laying tile in my kitchen, and the 9 months it took them to finally fix my poorly installed wallpaper. [When they installed the wallpaper large bubbles appeared all over it. I was told the bubbles would go away as the paper dried. The bubbles never went away. 9 months later they finally fixed it. The fix involved making appx. 50 small incisions and applying more glue underneath each spot. I?m trusting this will hold.] For over 9 months now I?ve been trying to get the tile issues resolved as well to no avail. I?ve been paid in full all of this time for everything (total: $8,000). Painting: I originally contacted Paint the Town Red to paint 700 sq/ft of space in my high rise condo. The quote I received from Paint the Town Red ($4,500) was nearly twice as much as the next nearest quote from other painters, but for this higher price I was promised the above mentioned consultation as well as impeccable workmanship. I figured I could definitely use help in choosing colors, so I went with Paint the Town Red. I can?t begin to say how helpful that consultation was. Kelly helped choose amazing colors for my space. I could not be happier with them. It was money well-spent. I also cannot say enough about Juan, her painter, and his crew. Juan was extremely personable and professional in every way. He seemed to care about every detail and it showed in the final paint job. And when they finished they cleaned up everything wonderfully. As far as the painting goes, my only concern is after a few months some of the caulking they put around edges is coming up and the paint is pealing away in those spots. Kelly mentioned this happened with one of her other clients and that she will have this fixed. During the consultation the owner (Kelly) also suggested I replace my kitchen flooring with a new tile floor; and also hang some wallpaper on an accent wall. Paint the Town Red would be able to install both. Kitchen floor tiling: I paid Paint the Town Red $2,500 to install the tile floor in my small 80 sq/ft kitchen. The size of the tiles is 24? x 12?. Given the quality of the work done installing my new kitchen floor my feeling is that laying tile is not Paint the Town Red?s expertise. I don?t know what else would explain why they did such a wonderful job with the painting, but such a poor job with installing the tile floor. A brand new floor should not have the issues I?m dealing with. I have tiles in other parts of my condo that were laid over 20 years ago and have none of the problems listed below. The day after the kitchen tile was installed (June 2010) I noticed grout breaking away in certain spots (see pics). I immediately contacted Kelly and explained the situation. 4 months passed before she sent anyone to look at this. She would send emails apologizing, but never sent anyone, nor did she come herself to look at the problem. In Oct. 2010, 4 months after the grout began falling away, she sent someone to re-grout those spots hoping this would solve the problem. The next day the grout began falling away again in the same spots. Once again I contacted Kelly immediately, as not only was it an eye-sore, it seemed unsanitary, and I was worried that something more problematic was going on under the tile. She apologized, thanked me for my patience and promised me she would get someone there as soon as possible. It took another 5 more months before she sent anyone this time. Her reason for the delay this time was that she was very busy with her Christmas Lighting work between Oct. and March so she couldn?t fit me into her schedule. (Despite the fact that I had been paid in full for months.) My small 80 sq/ft kitchen is pretty basic, so it doesn?t seem like there were any unusual considerations. All I can think is perhaps they were just in over their heads when it came to laying tile and did not have a lot of experience with this. 1. A number of tiles needed to be removed and replaced after initially being laid because they were poorly cut and did not fit the spaces. This used up my supply of extra tiles to have on hand should I need a replacement down the road. At this point there aren?t even enough tiles to fix the current problems given the number of existing issues. 2. There are tiles that are still poorly cut. There?s one where apparently an edge was being cut, that ended up being cut farther into the tile then needed, leaving what looks like a gash in the tile. Grout was used to sort of fill this in. But it?s basically a broken tile. It looks bad and is certainly not up to any professional standard. 3. Grout lines are extremely uneven in certain areas. Some of the grout lines are 1/8? at one end of a tile and 1? at the other end of the same tile (see pic). 4. From the very beginning I asked Kelly if the grout needed to be sealed given this was in the kitchen. She told me the grout did not need to be sealed (even though everything I read from Consumer Reports online and other professional industry standards said grout should definitely be sealed in a kitchen to make for easier cleanup, to prevent discoloration and to prevent mold and mildew from developing). This past week when Kelly finally came by to look at the grout issue, she said they should have sealed the grout when it was installed. I was speechless as that was totally opposite of what she had told me 9 months ago when it was installed. This last week she told me the grout in her own kitchen is sealed - because it?s in a kitchen - and should be protected against dirt and grime. The next day she sent an email changing the story again, saying that no, the grout does not need to be sealed. 5. I cannot get a straight answer to my question: what kind of tile is this exactly and should the tile itself also be sealed? When I?ve asked Kelly what type of tile it is she never answers. She should be able to tell a client this much; and specifically why or why not the tile should be sealed. I looked online myself and found that a good test is: if water is dropped on the tile and the tile darkens that means it should be sealed because the tile is porous. Apparently if water will soak into the tile so will grease and grime in the kitchen. This tile was never sealed; nor was the grout. So for the past 9 months it has been completely exposed in the kitchen. 6. My biggest concern remains the grout breaking away in certain spots (and the fact I can feel the floor moving in that spot when I step there.). Along with the already mentioned spots, I just noticed a big chunk of grout next to the refrigerator has broken away as well (see pic). The floor makes noise as well when it?s walked on in these and other areas. This can?t be right for a brand new floor. Bottom line: Paint the Town Red should be able to precisely answer my questions and concerns listed above. So far they have not. If a company can?t explain exactly why a problem is occurring, then it?s hard to understand how they will be able to fix the problem. I feel I?m getting what?s convenient for Paint the Town Red - which is why 9 months have passed and they still won?t tell me what exactly is causing the grout to fall away. The owner promised she would show the pictures she took last week to her ?expert?, and then get back to me and let me know precisely what?s causing all these problems. She said she would also give me a couple options for resolving them. This never happened. I had a handyman in my place working on some other things recently and I asked him about my kitchen tile situation. He tapped around where the grout was breaking away and said because it sounds hollow there?s something wrong going on underneath the tile. But not being the one who laid the tile, and not knowing what was used under the tile when it was installed, he couldn?t say what was going on for sure. He also said given the big spot of broken grout and the fact that other spots are breaking away as well, that he wouldn?t take the job on himself of trying to correct this because there?s no way he could warranty his work on a floor that seems so compromised right from the beginning. His concern was also that because the tile moves when it?s stepped on, that removing that tile alone and replacing it may create a chain reaction that will weaken all the other tiles around it. He also said since it?s moving, it very well may crack down the road. For 9 months Paint the Town Red has given me no kind of concrete diagnosis nor successful repair. SUMMARY: Paint the Town Red did a wonderful job painting my place. The work they did however installing tile in my kitchen has left it looking terrible for the past 9 months, not to mention unsanitary. My greatest fear is there may be something even more serious going on underneath the tiles. I have been patient for the past 9 months, and I?ve tried to resolve this without involving Angie?s List, but at this point I?ve run out of other options and patience. Should anything positive be resolved this review will certainly be adjusted to reflect that.

Response from Paint the Town Red
The unresolved issue here is two 2inch grout lines that have begun to brake way from the tile. We have made it clear to the client that we are happy to fix this issue yet he has not replied to our attempts to set up a repair date. I am happy at any time to return to fix the issue as we have respectfully informed the client without any response from him. Instead, we received this complaint letter. I have made it clear that I am happy to send in another highly respected industry expert who is well aware of the issue to fix his 2 inch grout issue on his tile floor to his satisfaction. The client has been informed of this and still does not reply to our request to set up a work date. I met with him to review the issue 2 months ago and then contacted him via phone and email with no reply from the client. All my clients know that I am willing to resolve all issue and that is why I have won the service award for 4 years in a row-I’m committed to my client and the beauty that we create in their home. I have told him that repeatedly and I have been out to his home numerous times to fix all of his complaints. Some people will never be satisfied regardless of the service provided and the stunning end product. Summary of our work with the client: 1. We painted his home and he was ecstatic and pleased with the outcome. I gave his color and design consultation for free as it was not in his budget to pay for the design help he requested. 2. He hired a rug company and was unhappy with how the rug looks (it is a high end rug that shows movement when walked on like most residential grade carpets). The company he hired was willing to replace it yet he did nothing about it but complain. 3. We installed small kitchen floor tile. The grout started flaking in 2 different 2 inch areas. We returned and were willing to take tile up and replace yet the client only wanted us to fill the grout instead. We refilled the grout line. 4. I returned in a few months after his complaints and the grout flaked again. It seemed there was an air pocket under the tile. I elevated issues and brought in another industry tile expert to get a second option and to execute the work. 5. The client did not call me back and did not schedule this work to be completed after many attempts to set up an appointment. 6. We also installed wallpaper for the client. The wallpaper once installed had two reflective spots that turned out to be a defect in the paper. We replaced the paper FREE OF CHARGE and installed new lizard pattern paper which does not lay flat. After the 2nd install there were small bubbles that often reduce with time as they did not completely flatten we returned to open bubble and re-glue at no extra charge and the client was very happy. There were many red flags to this client before starting this project. I always replied to his emails and stayed available. Most contractors would have written him off by now. Unfortunately, some people will only see the negative and do not work collaboratively to get things done. My client’s home is lovely. Most people would never have reacted the way that he did over a 2 inch line of grout. As I told the client I am happy to send out another industry expert to resolve the issue which must be set up this month if he wishes for me to resolve this problem. This overall grade is inaccurate as the client raved about the amazing painting job therefore the painting report should reflect the grade A that he indicated we earned. The client may grade the design and decorating aspect of the job separately. Kelly e. Fitzsimmons - President, Owner

We called this company to come out for an estimate. I found this company in angie's list book. I had to call twice and Kelly said she couldn't understand the number on voice mail. Thought it was odd since everyone has caller ID but she sent out painter to size up job and was told that she would e-mail me estimate in two days. That didn't happen and she wanted to start job and I didn't even know the price. When I received estimate she was really overpriced but I would have paid the money but Kelly doesn't respond to calls or e-mails so we were not a good fit. Would not recommend.

We are thrilled with the job that Kelly and Paint the Town Red did painting our condo! We had been putting off painting due to busy schedules and the sheer enormity of the task, so when we met Kelly (at the dog beach!), and then learned that she owned an interior paining business, complete with wall repair and color consultation, we scheduled an appointment right away. At the consultation, Kelly spent time going over the "flow" of our home, listening to our ideas, and taking in her surroundings in order to make the best color recommendations possible. We were not quite sure of what we wanted, and Kelly led us through the color selection process with an expert eye and great patience. At times, we turned the color decisions over to her...that's how confident we were in her abilities to make excellent suggestions. The final results are wonderful! The walls coordinate beautifully with our decor and the color adds so much class and warmth to our home. A month later, we still walk through the door and are amazed at the transformation! In regard to the process, we couldn't be more pleased, The crew who worked in our home for six days showed us, and our belongings, the utmost respect. They arrived on time, finished on time, and were meticulous with the clean-up. In the middle of the job, we added on an additional task of installing a new door, and they completed that expertly, along with everything else. In the end, we knew that hiring a high-quality professional color consultant/painting company would be an investment in our home. It was an investment that was expensive, and one that is worth so much more than what we paid!! Our condo looks brand new, and we love it! It is without hesitation that we highly recommend Kelly Fitzsimmons and Paint the Town Red for excellent service and an outstanding final result.
Description of Work: Provided color consultation for entire condo including 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, office and hallways; installed a new bathroom door; expertly prepared walls and ceilings including repairing numerous holes (due to insulation installation), fixing minor ceiling cracks and finishing the seams that connect the walls and ceilings that the original builder neglected; and painted all walls, ceilings, and trim.

Everything went well. I had an easy time reviewing several awesome choices. When I had questions Kelly helped make fantastic suggestions. The punctuality of the project was good. The installers were friendly, courteous and efficient. I feel that I definitely got what I paid for. Kelly at Paint The Town Red is a wonderful professional. I recommend without hesitation.
Description of Work: I needed window treatments for my condo after having all of the windows replaced. This was a large project as I live in a four story townhome. Kelly came in and helped me coordinate colors and products that suited my needs. Kelly made a huge project easy for a single male, who otherwise is not inclined towards this type of project. The process was painless. Kelly helped me pick out the curtains and scheduled the install.

They did a great job. I am very impressed with the work that they did. I was most impressed at the time they spent repairing the walls before starting painting. They are very well known for their fabulous color consultations. Their crew was amazing, they kept the place clean and were very contentious. Their quotation process was very straight forward, there were no hidden fees or surprises. They did a great job from the start of the project to the end.

My latest experience with Paint-the-Town-Red is actually the second time I have hired the company to paint in my house. I was so pleased after Kelly and her crew finished a large wallpaper removal and paint job on a house I purchased last December, that I asked them to come back in March and finish painting the rest of my house. Once again, I couldn't be happier with the results. Working with Paint-the-Town-Red has been one of the rare instances in which I've hired a contractor and everything that I wanted done was done right the first time. Working with Kelly to pick out vibrant, pleasing colors was again one of the most enjoyable aspects. I was have a little difficulty choosing colors for one of the bedrooms. However, Kelly was patient and inspiring and in the end, we found colors that I really love. Her crew of painters was completely professional too. They arrived on-time everyday, were clean and totally non-intrusive. When people come over now they frequently ask if I've had the house remodeled. The answer is no - I just had a really high quality paint job which makes it look that good! I would not hesitate to recommend Kelly and Paint-the-Town-Red to anyone who wants a high quality paint job done right the first time that will result in a home with a beautiful color palate that is tailored to your individual taste.

We truly cannot say enough nice things about this company. Juan and his team were impeccable. We had our house fully painted by another company about a year ago, and they did a poor job; so, hesitantly, we decided to redo the paint job, despite the cost. We called Paint the Town Red based on the positive reviews on angies list and are so happy that we did. We didn't use Kelly (the owner) for any color consultation, just painting, but she was flexible about working within the limitations we set. In fact, we hired them last-moment due to another company being unavailable, and she rearranged her schedule so that we could complete the painting within a week. I am a complete perfectionist; and I rarely if ever am I happy with a home-related company. We've searched long and hard for a company that we could write this type of review about. But I have nothing but great things to say about the paint job. They were in and out within 5 days. They arrived promptly at 7 am and left at 7 pm. They worked around some constraints (we were finishing a renovation upstairs, so they had to work only in certain rooms while that work was finished), and were friendly about it. They were clean, including covering all of our floors, counters, and cabinets. They cleaned up after themselves; in fact, I found them yesterday cleaning up all of the dust (most of it caused by the renovation and not by the paint job), which was just fantastic. And the paint job itself was skillful. I made a list on the second-to-last day of the job of things that needed to be fixed, only to wake the next morning to find that 99% of the things had already been identified and completed. That's good service. All in all, excellent experience. I look forward to working with them again in the future.

It went wonderfully. They were very professional and covered every surface in our house. They did a little extra work to make sure none of our floors or wood work was damaged. They were great in putting things back where they were. They even insisted on sweeping the floors. The best part is they did a great job on the painting. They were on time and were a pleasure to do business with. I would recommend them.

One of the best painting experiences I've ever had. Kelly Fitzsimmons was great to work with after I explained that I just needed to get my house ready to put on the market. She sent one of her employees right over to check out what needed to be done, sent me an estimate and contract that fully described the job. I decided to go ahead on Friday, and she arranged to have her team at my house at 7:30am on Saturday. They guys were great! The showed up on time, covered everything in the house that could possibly get paint on it with plastic and paper, cleaned everything up before they left and even volunteered to watch my puppy (I didn't take them up on it, but it was nice.) They had to come back on Sunday to finish up and they went through the same steps as before and left the house much better than before. The drywall repair is seamless and the paint matches perfectly.
Description of Work: Repaired drywall cracks from new building settling in several rooms and ceilings, matched the paint that was already on the walls and then repainted the walls and ceilings.

I could not be more pleased with the job that Kelly Fitzsimmons and her team at Paint-the-Town-Red did on my house. It is hard to come up with enough positive words to describe my experience. My husband and I recently purchased a home that was decorated with a great deal of wallpaper and paint colors that we did not care for. I contacted Kelly because the wallpaper removal job was going to be large job on multiple floors. However, I also really wanted to work with someone who did more than just repaint walls but also would help with choosing colors that would make my home look beautiful, enhance the architectural features and coordinate with my existing furniture. Kelly did just that - helping me choose a beautiful palate of colors that matched my taste and was she such a pleasure to work with. Then her team got to work removing the wallpaper and prepping the walls. I was incredibly impressed by how neatly and meticulously her team worked the entire time. Moreover, the painters were always so punctual, friendly, and had no trouble working around stacks of boxes since we moved into the home while the painters were working. It took only 5 days to completely transform my house. Now I am happy every time I walk in the door and see the beautiful paint job and I look forward to welcoming friends into my inviting space. If you are looking for someone to help you create a space or a home with color that you feel good about and you want the job done neatly, professionally, and in a timely manner, then Paint-the-Town-Red is the company you need to call.
Description of Work: A significant amount of wallpaper was removed, walls were repaired and sanded, the walls, trim and architectural details were painted. Prior to painting a detailed color consultation with Kelly, the owner, was provided to help choose colors.

We enjoyed our experience with Kelly and Paint the Town Red and are very happy with the results. Kelly came over for a color consultation and it was fun watching her enthusiastically brainstorm the possibilities for our condo. She ultimately suggested bold yet warm colors for our living room, bedroom, and bathroom, a Venetian textured paint for our foyer, and wallpaper for our office. She also met us at a design store to help select wallpaper and material for some reupholstery (at an additional cost). Though we intended to install crown molding only in our living room, she also persuaded us to do so in our bedroom and kitchen. While these latter choices of Venetian paint, wallpaper, additional crown molding, and the trip to the store ended up tacking on more money than we had intended, it was well worth it. The additional crown, which was flawlessly installed, added a finished look to our entire condo. Kelly's use of color and texture combinations took advantage of the unique contours of our condo and complemented our furniture, rugs, and drapes. The end result was exactly the stylish makeover we wanted but had no idea how to execute on our own. Juan and the rest of the PTTR crew did excellent work. They were extremely careful around our hardwood floors and possessions, covering and wrapping everything in sight. They provided amazingly high-quality work, whether it was repairing, installing crown, wallpapering, or painting.
Description of Work: Suggested colors for interior of condo, painted bedroom, living room, bathroom, foyer and kitchen, wallpapered the office, repaired walls and installed crown molding.

Fantastically. It was a huge job that evolved with time. As I became more impressed with Paint-The-Town- Red, I realized that I wanted them to handle more work in my home. The employees are friendly, professional and skilled. I felt completely comfortable with Kelly's employees in my home. They were on time, consciensous and always cleaned up afterwards. Kelly worked with my challenging schedule to ensure that my life wasn't too disrupted. I could not have done this on my own. Paint-The-Town-Red made an enormous task painless. The end result speaks for itself. I am completely satisfied.
Description of Work: Kelly performed a comprehensive assessment of my goals and needs. We sat down and developed an action plan. My entire condo was painted, crown molding installed, wallpaper in select locations and drywall repair. Kelly also coordinated with a carpet installer to have my entire place done. The consultation seemlessly coordinated the paint color and carpet choice. Further, I had my deck stained and sealed. My back yard fence was also cleaned and sealed. I had new windows installed by another company. Kelly's people made sure that the trim was painted and any touch ups completed. Finally, as a single male, color coordination is not my strength. Kelly purchased art and other accessories that complimented her work. She also coordinated selection and purchase of window treatments. I could not have done this on my own. Paint-The-Town-Red made an enormous task painless. The end result speaks for itself.

A few months ago I visited my friend John after he had the house painted by Kelly and...as soon as I saw the results I knew I wanted Kelly to paint my condo too. And so it was: quickly after Kelly came over to my place and the magic started. Kelly brought her experience and sense of design and matched those perfectly to my needs and my personality. The job was done in no time and her crew was fantastic: I travel a lot for work and I wanted to trust the people I was leaving my keys with. This was not a problem at all: the crew was reliable, clean and very detailed. Now my house looks and feels like a home: it shows my style, my world and I am proud to show it off to all my friends.
Description of Work: She painted the entire interior of my condo.

We cannot thank Kelly and her crew enough, especially the lead of her paint/repair team, Juan. Juan was such a pleasure to work with. He explained every detail of what his team would do. They showed up on time, stayed late to finish when they said the would, and were incredibly respectful of our house and neighbors. I feel confident that with Kelly on design and Juan on execution, there is nothing these two cannot do.
Description of Work: Paint the Town Red transformed our home. Really. We recently bought a plaster-and-lathe storybook tudor home in Oak Park that had been let go, both in terms of style and upkeep. Between the cracks in the walls and the drab colors, we did not know where to begin. Then we found Kelly Fitzsimmons and Paint the Town Red through Angie's List. Kelly walked us through ever step of the process, from the nature of repairs that needed to be made to the choice of colors and finishes. She was able to match our somewhat more modern tastes with the historic nature of the home in a seemless blend. She even challenged us to take a few risks that paid off beautifully, including a venetian plaster finish on our fire place. It took some handholding on her part, but we were so glad we trusted her suggestion.

Overall, this was a very positive experience. From my initial meeting with Kelly to the finished product. Our house has been completely transformed. While her prices may be a touch higher than other estimates we received, I am very glad we paid the extra money; it was most definitely worth it.
Description of Work: Initially Kelly and I worked out the colors to paint the walls together, which is just what I needed. Her eye for color and transforming a room with paint is truly a gift. Once we had decided on colors, her crew were able to paint 2 floors of our house in a very efficiently and professionally. They were clean, courteous, and the overall work was done beautifully.

I loved working with Kelly/Paint the Town Red. It was fun to get her ideas for colors - sometimes they were out of our comfort level, but the end results are wonderful and something that we truly love! We would not have explored some of the ideas had we not had her professional insight. She is also a lot of fun and really wanted our home to be what WE want it to be. Her crew was AMAZING. They were prompt, neat, considerate, and most importantly, the results were absolutely beautiful. I have never had such clean lines and perfect painting done in the nearly 15 years of home ownership. Although they are expensive, it was worth it in terms of living through the process as well as the wonderful results.
Description of Work: Kelly helped pick out colors for living room, hallways, entryway, and master bedroom. Her crew repaired walls, completely skim-coated one room, and painted everything.

From Kelly's advisement with the color selections to how spotless the workers left my place after the job was complete, we couldn't have been more pleased! The condo looks fabulous. It is amazing what a difference paint can make in transforming a place into something new again. The crew were incredibly efficient and professional. I telecommute for my job and was able to continue to work from home for most of the time that the painters were at the condo. We also selected non-toxic paint, a bit pricier, but definitely worth it. There was essentially no odor at all. The job was also completed earlier than we anticipated - which was fabulous! They were definitely worth the higher price than other contractors.

Overall the job went well. The painters did an excellent job and were done within 2 1/2 days. The only complaint I have is the attention to the administrative details. After the original quote was provided, I decided to modify some of the work. I had to question the revised estimate because it wasn't accurate. In addition, parking options and costs were not discussed up front. Everything worked out fine in the end and my condo is beautiful.
Description of Work: Choose colors and finishing for entry way, bedroom, and living room paint. Uneven plaster walls were skim coated for repairs prior to painting.
