They were here a couple of hours. He's not the cheapest guy on the block but he's really, really good. He's extremely creative and does a beautiful job with everything he touches. I've been using him for four years. He's expensive, but way more creative than most. He also has a really, really good staff. He uses the same guys year after year which is a good sign in this business. People come and go if they don't get paid well, he pays his guys well and they are very neat. Everytime they're here they clean up after themselves and they've very polite. It's the same guys since I started using them so I consider that a very good sign, too, that he's good to him employees. A lot of gardeners charge a lot to come to this neighborhood, if not then they do a bad job.

Have used Marcelo many times over the past 4 years. Excellent garden designer, fabulous eye for color and texture. Puts together wonderfully creative containers, even in the winter!! An artist who just happens to work with plants, not paint. A great llistener, too; he really pays attention to what I want, what I like, and incorporates my wishes into his work. And the staff he uses is the same, year after year, which in this business I consider a good sign of Marcelo's skills as an employer. My neighbors often coompliment me on my garden, and many a time I have watched as passers-by jumped out of their cars to take pictures. There is no one I could recommend more as a designer and gardener.
