Kemora Landscapes

Response was prompt and friendly but Kemora could not perform the work by my target date. Will consider using the company in the future.

The three men that came to do the work were at my home for a total of 2 hours. When I asked them to prune the wisteria, they hardly even trimmed it and they didnt have a ladder. I had to call someone out the next day to take care of it. Then they planted a Kim Lilac bush in the spot where I wanted it, but it died because it had a disease when they initially planted it. The designer was only here for about 30 minutes, so there was no supervisor watching the workers. They seemed very inexperienced. Something seems very shady about the company. They had offered a 5% discount to members, and when I asked them about that discount I was told you had to spend at least $2500.

I have been thinking about changing the landscaping at the front of my home for some time but really wanted professional input so this Big Deal sounded perfect. Marissa called at the time of the appt. to say she was running about 10 min. late which I appreciated. When she arrived she asked some questions to get an idea of what I liked and did not like and then sketched a plan that complimented the style of my home. The sketch includes the names/kinds of plants. She also took into consideration the neighbor's plantings which is something that did not occur to me. I like her design and her suggestions. She inquired as to whether or not I was interested in getting an estimate for the labor to install the new design and I indicated that I was. She said that she will email an estimate. We also reviewed the landscaping design in the back yard and Marissa gave me an idea of what and where to plant in order to improve the design. More to come...

Like many, i bought the Angie's List Big Deal for a one hour design consultation. Overall was very good. Punctual, friendly, listened and asked good questions. Made sure to understand whether we were looking for formal or informal, how much time we were looking to spend on maintenance, etc before moving forward. I felt like she understood what we are trying to achieve. Made recommendations for relocating existing plants to vary size, texture, etc. Made great suggestions for adding larger anchor plants (small trees) into existing scape, and stressed importance of having a few things that keep mass for winter interest. Complimented things that she thought we had done well on our own. In the end, we got sketches of the front and back (which was what I expected from reading reviews) and a good meeting with no heavy sales pitch. We will not hesitate to contact Kemora in the future for larger projects.

I was not satisfied with this service as all. The Big deal was supposed to be for a complete landscape design and consultation. The level of service I received, I've could of gotten free from any landscape designer. I had a young lady stopped by and walk through my yard she drew some design on a piece of paper she had with a list of things I could do(and that sums up my Big Deal), I had to take a picture of her hand drawings with my phone, and try to decipher her handwriting later. Additionally the nursery they purchase the items from is the same nursery I've been purchasing my plants from. I was told if I needed anything put in, just take the nursery price and add 50% to it, + shipping. I wanted to get a date on the books to get a tree put in, the young lady texted me and told me they were book solid, I asked very nicely to have someone call me back with their first open date to get the tree done, and am still waiting as I have never heard anything. This was probably one of the worse big deals I've purchased. This Big Deal was a true waste of money.

I met with the owner, Marisa. By the end of the hour, I had a sketch to work from, many ideas for plants and placement to get me off to a great start. My goals of having a plan, incorporating many of my current perennials, a seating area and ideas for some new plants were all met. It was a very good experience. Marisa is very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you.

Angie's list had a promotion for a landscape design consultation. Kemora met with us. I went with another firm.

I called a couple of times for an appointment and they never returned my calls. Complete waste of money.

It was okay. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

Kemora Landscape Desings did not do overly well. We were pleased with her from the walk through. She took about 3 weeks to get back to use. Literally, it looked like the back of a napkin, it couldn't have taken her more than 10 minutes to draw what she did. It was extremely basic, it was kind of like she was busy and forgot about it. We were not overly pleased.

The appointment was easy to set up. They returned my call within a day or two after my initial contact. The workers arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally. No complains. I would recommend and use them again.

I did not use this Provider w/n the specified timeframe so lost my $55.00 Angies list change your format you have been bugging me to complete this for 2 yrs, it is not fair to have to evaluate if I never used the service and you will not let me complete N/A (which is what it is) And on another note the first negative response I completed ever, not on this Provider. (I have belonged to Angies list since it started) I have rec'd no response from.

The services done for me by Kemora Landscape Designs, Inc. were great. She was very creative.

Didn't provide estimate as promised after several requests

There were very professional and helpful and thorough and the yard looks very nice and is exactly what we wanted

I called and called them. I could not get ahold of them. They were using their hands to pull up the weeds. I tried to talk to the owner and they did not get back to me. I'll have to get another lawn maintenance person.

They were thoughtful in asking if we wanted to have overgrown yew bushes in the back yard trimmed. The bushes were really tall and I wasn't expecting Kemora to take on the task. In the end, we provided the ladder and they did a great job of cutting them back to a manageable size. They also hauled away all the debris and that was unexpected.

The consultation and design were great. But, the communication dropped off mid-way through the quoting process and follow-up emails did not get responded to. Disappointing.

We are thrilled with the design and with how everything was executed. Krista came up with the design and came out several times to make sure everything was on par. The landscapers were hard workers and put in full days.

Provided a design for both the front and backyards. Recommended plants, selected and delivered the plants and trees. Prepared the soil and planted each of the items. I would contact Kemora Landscape Designs if needed in the future. de

We are very happy with Kemora Designs. The stone cutting and materials used were top notch. Marisa took my ideas and added elements of her own that utilized our space to the maximum. Although the price was kind of steep, the quality of the materials and plants were excellent. Everything is thriving. We loved the work Arturo (cut the stone and laid the brick) and Kris (built the pergola) did. Everyone was friendly and answered our questions. There was a little problem with communication at one point. I had wanted some bushes removed that had not been visible during the original consultation. I was communicating with the Colleen, who sent the invoice, but she was not responding to my emails. I got in touch with Marisa who came over immediately and explained that Colleen was out on job sites all day and would not have been able to get back to me. The bushes were removed and the grasses were put in their place. The issue we had was with the staining of the pergola. The workers left streaks on the lattices and dripped stain the patio. My husband took pictures of the area that had streaks. The workers came back but the area,that was streaked was not fixed. However, this is a minor issue and we are overall very pleased the everything. Our yard has become our oasis and everything we envisioned it would be.

Asked provider multiple times to review my yard and provide an estimate for maintenance. Provider committed to doing so but never called back. Very unprofessional.
