Mike and John did a stellar job on this project, which was more complicated than average. I began seeing ceiling leaking after a solar panel installation (by another company) and discovered I needed a tear off. The solar company dragged their feet on getting the panels removed, but in the meantime, Mike had his team tarp the roof to stop the leaking. Mike's team ended up removing the panels themselves and completing the work, including carpentry and masonry, in just over a week. The new roof and gutters look beautiful. They have a complete team including electricians and HVAC techs who were able to oversee the proper care of A/C units on the roof. Mike and John were very communicative and responsive throughout the project and set my mind at ease that work was being done properly. I solicited five quotes in total for the job. Mike and John did not come in the lowest, but were very reasonable and provided good value. There were much higher quotes offering inferior products and less rigorous processes (less membrane overlap, no new gutters, etc). Mike was also very communicative about the few follow ups we had. I hope to work with Mike and his team again in the near future. Highly recommend.

Rip off. Avoid at all cost. Like dealing with a used car salesman. They oversell and underdeliver. The work is for the most part shoddy and unsafe.

They were quick to respond to the home advisor's request and scheduled a visit to provide a proposal. Was great in providing options as well as quotes for neighbors. Communication was a bit spotty at times thru the process. They worked efficiently finishing the project quickly and left the site clean of any debris. Overall I had a good experience.

John & Mike showed up within a day of calling and were able to schedule the work for a week later. The crew was here for 2 days and installed a gorgeous patio and flower bed in my backyard and a retaining wall and flower bed in the front. I highly recommend them.

Did great work to start, despite not always showing up on time. But, when cracks appeared almost instantly after work was done and paid for I was ghosted. Once paid, they were not answering calls.

John and Mike are exceptional at what they do. Great customer service, prices are awesome and there work is top notch!! My building looks like new!! I recommend Johns Masonry Roofing and construction before any other company!! Thanks again guys for caring for my building like it was yours!!

Highly recommend this company, great service, prompt, and very reasonable compared to 3 other initial quotes we had. roof itself is fantastic. customer service was also great.

EDIT May 2022: We hired John again for some Masonry work on our building and they repaired several glass block windows with a warranty attached. Several panes cracked almost immediately and repeated phone calls and requests to have the issue addressed have been ignored by the contractor. I would not make any promise of a warranty from this company seriously and I would not hire them to walk a dog much less work on my home. Once they completed the first project and got their money they essentially ghosted us. I deeply regret ever hiring this firm and suggest you look elsewhere for contractors that will follow up on their work. Original review: We hired John for a tear off and re-roofing of a flat-roofed condo building following a competitive bidding process with several companies. John came in with the most competitive quote after equalizing for materials and the scope of the work. Our project manager Mike and his team were very professional and efficient in their work and prompt in answering any questions that we had. They were patient with us as we worked through the bidding process and addressing the concerns of multiple stakeholders in the association. The work itself was of good quality and I am quite confident that the roofing system we have in place now is better than what we had before. We are considering them for additional masonry work if that is an indication of our satisfaction.

Micheal Fagan project Manager, was very professional, delivered timely service, organized, workers courteous & on time, cleaned up daily, was able to take suggestions & direction from buyer. Pricing very competitive and affordable. Proposal was well written and detailed as to what would be done complete with pictures. Communications between both parties were ongoing and any corrections needed were made in a timely manner. Would recommend their services to others.

Very respectful and return calls quickly. Had a bit of a scheduling issue, however, the work was still done quickly and gave a much lower quote thann a big name company we had received a quote from.

Theyre on the job and work really really fast and complete when they say they will complete. They do a very good job I have no complaints. They did roofing, tuck pointing and they did a porch.

This group comes fully equipped to assess, survey the problem create a diagnosis and make it understandable for the lay person to comprehend. They come ready to execute. The work their team did to correct the work of another defective application was absolutely amazing. Their team came in ready to work. Immediately adhering to any of the guidelines and restrictions that were mentioned according to the bylaws of our housing community. They worked from 7:30 in the morning until dusk completing this effort.This was a multi leveled (3 ) flat roof project. They completely removed the roof to the beams. Their team replaced beams that had been totally eroded by water damage. Completed 2 additional flat roof to include replacing a skylight and roof top deck. When I saw the quality of work their team put forth I literally cried. The gentleman were always professional always courteous and meticulous in their execution. Extremely detailed in their work. Using materials that were state of the art. They continuously adhered to safety COVID-19 precautions by wearing mask throughout the workday. Amazing canâ t express the adjective that should be a associate to this dynamic team.

Mike and his team were wonderful. I put in a request saturday morning after waking up to a leak in our roof. Mike assessed the roof that afternoon and scheduled the job for Monday. They were fast, responsive and thorough. They went through all the areas that needed maintenance, explained them clearly with pictures and examples. When the job was completed the showed pictures and examples and offered a 10 year guarantee. It was great! Would recommend them.

John and his friendly and professional team did an excellent job on a complete tear off of our condo roof. They used quality products that will last us for the next 20 years and when we recently had it inspected, our agent said it was one of the best roofing jobs that he had seen in the city!! We plan to use them again in the spring for some additional prep work.

Professional every step of the way from estimate to work crew. Very detailed estimate and the final product is fantastic.

His workers were very respectful, quick and cleaned up. Which Michael checked and followed up to make sure they cleaned up. He double checks on his workers jobs, he is good. John also picks up calls and follows up afterwards.
