The owner Mathew came the same day I called and gave an estimate very reasonably priced. We scheduled the date and he and his crew did a great job. I have scheduled gutter and power washing for next month. I will recommend to other homeowners in my area

Mathew Robinson?s crew displayed exceptional performance in the cleaning of forty-plus windows at our three story historic Hyde Park home. The crew arrived on schedule and immediately went to work, erecting exterior ladders, power washing the screens and cleaning the interior/exterior of all windows. The crew went about their tasks with precision and completed the job in approximately four hours. We found Mathew Robinson to be very professional and easy to work with. We were so impressed that we pre-scheduled fall and spring window cleaning for the next 18 months. Initial Service is definitely a service provider we recommend.

Wonderful! Matthew Robinson was very responsive. He came to check out the issue and give an estimate the same day that I called with a critical gutter issue. He and his crew were here by 10:30am the next morning. They cleaned the gutters, let me hear that the downspouts were flowing freely, and then did an amazing job cleaning the wood deck and brick patio. They went above and beyond, and I will definitely be calling them again. It's great to have a wonderful Hyde Park-based small business for these services. Thanks!

the guys walked by our home after finishing a job at a nearby home in lincoln park. The price quote was good even without the angies list discount. They came by the next week to do exterior window washing on our 3 story home. They were punctual, efficient, neat, and the windows looked great. When they found out we were on angies list they gave us the angies list discount even though we hadn't asked for it. We would definitely have them wash our windows again.

Team was punctual, did not rush through the job, and contractor remained onsite for the job. Overall, great service and we are happy with our clean windows and front steps.

We have so many trees, the gutters were really packed with leaves and debris beyond what we expected. The guys worked really hard and filled about 6 bags of junk! No complaints, but a lot of hard work up on the roof and ladders. They also cleaned the outside windows. In the past they also cleaned the inside windows. I've used them several times and never been disappointed. Matthew and his co-worker are pleasant to work with.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL CONTRACTOR AT THE SAME I COULD NOT IMAGINE WHY THIS COMPANY IS EVEN IN ANGIES LIST, CAN YOU IMAGINE IF THIS COMPANY WORKED ON OUR HOME.???!!!!

I contacted Initial Service about washing the windows on our house, and Matthew Robinson came out within a day, walked through the house, and gave me an estimate. We were able to schedule the work for the same week. The crew arrived on time and worked very efficiently so the whole job was done in about a half a day. The windows were sparkling when they finished and they left the rooms and the exterior of the property neat. I would recommend them.

Matthew did a fantastic job. He didn't rush the job when he realized it was much bigger than he had anticipated. And he turned windows that hadn't been cleaned in six years into sparkling windows on the world. Great work!

Excellent. We have used Matt three times. The first time he noted that some of our windows had been pitted by concrete (from the new construction next door to us). He did not charge extra but he and his helper spent an extensive amount of time carefully cleaning and removing the sediment and concrete that had come through the screens of our windows during the construction. He always asks us if we are satisfied with the work when it is completed and will work through the building before he leaves to make sure he has not missed anything. Our building is labor intensive - storms are sometimes difficult to remove, some windows need to be propped to stay open, etc. If there is a problem, Matt will patiently resolve it. He is probably one of the most professional, patient and kind workers we have ever experienced. There are children in the building and he is very careful to ensure their safety as well as his own. He also does pressure cleaning and metal cleaning. We highly recommend him and each year we (as well as our tenants) look forward to seeing him since his work makes such a difference to our building.
