I used H2H movers for 2 moves, and both times have been seamless. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the movers were timely and quick. I will definitely be calling H2H for all of my future moves as well!

Will hire again! The team was prompt, communicated clearly and the entire experience was completely stress-free - which says a lot for moving in Chicago. The worked within the allotted time, were attentive to my fragile items and - best of all - no hidden fees!

These guys were machines! They were very efficient, and completed everything in under the amount of time estimated. I also dealt with the customer service department for a few billing inquiries after the fact and they were very responsive and fast to solve my problem. I would highly recommend them!

Our move was flawless! H2H came in a few months prior to our move and supplied us with an good price. Not the highest and not the lowest. We chose them because they were thorough with their quote process and came highly recommend from Angie’s List, Yelp and BBB. Well we made the right choice! They sent a crew of 6 the day before our move to pack us up. They were prompt, professional and very nice. The day of the move H2H was on time, crew of 6 and they moved with great speed. There wasn’t a time I saw them NOT moving us out. When we arrived at our new house they flew through the two trucks, placing the furniture and boxes in the right places and even made some last minute adjustments when we requested it. We hen it came time for the bill, the actual cost was LESS than estimated and when you are moving the cash usually just flows out, we were so very pleased. YES!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND H2H Movers!

The moving team was punctual, courteous, and very professional (they managed to park their truck in tricky places). I packed our books beforehand but requested packing service for everything else in our 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. The team was very efficient and finished packing in about an hour and a half. They took good care while moving the furniture, and basically all I had to do with stay out of their way. The team leader explained the estimate and the final charge clearly and carefully. And Val, who helped schedule and coordinate my move, was very responsive and helpful throughout. Last but not least, H2H's estimate was quite a lot cheaper than other estimates I've received, and I am happy with the service. Highly recommend!

H2H Movers literally are best movers I have ever used in Chicago! This is my 2nd time using them for a move over 2 miles. Both times the guys who have come to handle the move as well as the staff in the office who set up the move were incredible! They are thorough, attentive, quick, diligent, surprisingly detail oriented, helpful and careful. I could not be happier with the quote I received and the accuracy of the pricing versus the time it took to complete both moves. I actually purchased more furniture (a dining room set, patio furniture, 2 chairs, a couch, lots of lamps) and forgot about some of the new items from the last move, H2H still honored the price they quoted me on the phone when I called to schedule the move!!! Who does that??? After using another company for my previous moves, and being furious at my furniture being scratched or broken, and a long claim process, I found H2H on Google. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing dependable, honest, hardworking careful movers!

I hired this company based on the reviews I read. 6 guys and 2 trucks arrived somewhat timely. I walked the "head" mover around my house to show him what we wanted moved. He did some quick calculations and soon told me I should consider letting 2 more guys with 1 more truck come to help bec this would cut down on how long it would take. I reluctantly agreed and in an hour, 1 guy came with a truck. They moved fairly fast but there were also tons of times when 2 people were working and 3 were watching. It took 3.5 hours to get packed, an hour to drive to our new house and 2 hours to unpack. Unbeknownst to me, they left 2 dressers, a nightstand, our big TV and the TV console wrapped with tape and blankets - thanks for the extra moving blankets, I guess.. Unfortunately, the tape also delaminated both of my dressers when we tried to remove the tape and they put 2 gouges in another of my dressers. 2 of the small shelf pieces on the TV console were lost so now we have to rig up ways to hold up the shelf. Before they started, the Head mover asked how I was going to be paying for the move. I just assumed I would charge it since I expected it to be over $1,400. He tells me he needed $500 of it to be cash and said we should go to the bank while they were packing the truck to get the cash. He them tells me that if I wanted to use a credit card, I would be charged an additional 3% processing fee. At no time when I booked this company was an additional processing fee ever mentioned for using a credit card. We decided we would just pay cash and save the fee so my husband went to the bank. At the end of the move, when we were settling up, I gave them an extra $180 as a tip to split with the guys. The Head mover insisted that I should give him more to tip the guys with especially since he felt he saved me money. So I'm thinking, yes, you may have saved me some money but that doesn't mean I have to give it all back. I also reminded him that a tip is not mandatory but optional. He told me the guys made only $10 per hour.. Again, not my problem. I gave him a bit more so each guy would receive a $25 tip. I felt pressured and did not appreciate the expectation that a sizeable tip was mandatory. I nearly took all of the tip money back but didn't want to cheat the other guys that did work hard.. Am I wrong to assume that a tip is only optional? And that pressuring me for more tip money was wrong? After I posted this same review to Yelp, management from this moving company has contacted me to try to work something out... I will post a follow-up once they make the necessary repairs to my furniture.. UPDATED/FOLLOW-UP REVIEW (9/18/2018) Simon from H2H Movers quickly contacted me after I left my original review and was very eager to help right the wrong that I experienced. He was very apologetic and wanted to hear my side of the story. After I explained everything that happened, he assured me that he would follow up with our head moving guy to find out what happened. I also forwarded pics of the damage that was done to my furniture. A few days later, Simon and I connected again via email and Simon also asked if he could come out to my house to see if he could repair some of the damage to my furniture and he had ordered some replacement parts for an item that lost parts during our move.. A week later, Simon came out and it was obvious to him the damage done to my furniture was irreparable. Simon also informed me that he had a conversation with our head mover to make him aware that his behavior was inappropriate. In the end, Simon refunded me back the tip I gave the movers and we agreed upon an amount for the damage done to my furniture. I am hopeful Simon's conversation was effective. I applaud Simon for reaching out to me as quickly as he did and for doing everything in his power to rectify the situation. It was Simon's behavior that made me want to update my review.

The 3 guys who moved her were extremely careful with belongings and took extra care when having difficulty getting couch through doorway to ensure no damage. All fragile furniture/belongings were wrapped well for protection by the crew.

Very well - H2H arrived exactly on time and really handled our items carefully. They did a great job getting everything to our new house quickly and safely — no dings, breaks, or scratches to our house or our furniture. All of the charges were explained clearly and the pricing was competitive with other movers we considered. Would highly recommend!

The move went very well and was painless. The three movers took good care of our items and were very helpful. I would definitely use the service again.

great timely, professional, and courteous

The H2H movers were very prompt and professional the entire time. I called and detailed out all my furniture and stuff to receive the initial estimate. When they arrived the morning of the move, they took an inventory and that updated quote was right about the initial estimate. They took care with all the furniture to make sure that it was secured for the move, including heavy dressers and glass table tops that required moves down & up narrow flights of stairs. Looking at the truck, I was not expecting all the stuff to be able to fit but they were able to make it work. The move took a half hour less than expected so the final amount ended up being less than estimated / quoted at the beginning of the day. I would definitely use H2H the next time I move as well as recommend them to any friends.

H2H movers could not have been easier and nicer to work with! They were on time and all 3 men that came to complete my move were very professional and all extremely nice! They were very careful with my belongings and did not just toss my items around. The new building that I moved to had an error where we were not listed down for the freight elevator and the movers were very kind while working through that challenging situation. Anytime I've reached out, I've received follow-up immediately on my questions. I would highly recommend!

It went well. But my time was pushed back and also the movers didn't want to move some of my stuff because of timw consuming even though I was paying hourly rate.

The folks at H2H are A++. This is my second time using their service. The first time I only utilized their moving services to move across Chicago. They moved a 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom apartment in around 3 total hours. The second time I utilized their white glove packing & moving services to move across Chicago. They were able to pack my entire 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom apartment within an hour and 30 minutes. The moving and unpacking took around 4 hours. The movers were very professional and extremely thorough (they were going to pack the food I had in my refrigerator!!). They communicated the cost estimates upfront & explained why the costs were incurred. I will definitely be using their services again in the future. I am not a fan of moving but H2H makes a terrible experience not that bad at all.

It is a very large piece of furniture that is challenging to move. So I was very glad they had 3 guys because it required all 3. They were very careful in getting through awkward doorways and hallways on both ends. And they did an excellent job of blanket wrapping it.

Overall they did a great job. I had 6 movers and 2 trucks for a 3000 sq ft house. They were done in 5.5 hours! Worth the money. I have a few nicked doorways, but overall the job was done with great care. The actual cost was $700 under the estimate. That made me very happy!! I would recommend them to my friends for sure. Make sure you are ready when they come, they are paid by the hour.

The move went exceptionally well. The three guys were prompt, attentive and good at what they do. They fit everything into a single truck and the overall process only took 3.5 hours! I highly recommend these guys! They clearly had experience and had the right attitude!

It went smoothly. The movers were profe and got everything done in a timely manner. The only small qualm I had was they moved very large furniture down the front stairs - which is apparently a big well known no no. But when they were asked to change to the back stairs, they did promptly. Was very happy with my service.

The H2H movers were great. They arrived early and were very professional and nice regarding the move. We were able to complete the move in an hour and nothing was damaged. This was definitely a great decision to hire this company as the price was very competitive, the process was very simple, and very quick/efficient.
