They are very good, very responsive, always follow up. The owner is very nice, but the merchandise he represents is not the way I would like. The work is still going on because of the problems with blinds. I initially ordered a blind from the store and I was not experienced to know the type of blind to use. They sent me an expensive blind which I didn't like it because of the lighting as the house was very dark. They replaced it with a cheaper version of the same brand, which was half the price of the previous one and was of the lowest quality. They didn't return the money and I still didn't like the blind. They wanted to repair it, but I said it couldn't be repaired. So, I asked them to upgrade to a better quality and am still waiting for the final product.

It went well. They did a great job.

No complaints. The company is easy to work with. Brian is helpful and responsive. Everyone was punctual. I didn't do comparison pricing because Gotcha Covered was so highly rated on Angie's list. So I don't know if the price is competitive or not. That's why I wrote n/a for the pricing question. Just didn't want to bother with a whole bunch of companies coming to my house. Thanks to Angie's list, it wasn't necessary.

We would give them the highest ratings. They were excellent and we felt they were very professional. They gave us ideas and inspiration that we needed. We were happy with the service and it was excellent. We would go back for the service alone if nothing else.

The dealer in the showroom was very helpful, and the am who did the installing was prompt and very professional. There one window had a broken trim piece, but they came and fixed it with no trouble. On the whole I'm very pleased with the quality of the final result.

This is not the low-cost solution, but they provide excellent and comprehensive service for the money. Good design support: We got what we really needed, not necessarily what we would have designed ourselves. Very prompt and punctual delivery and installation. I will not think about using any other provider for this service.

They have done a lot of work for us in the past. They are very helpful and very customer service oriented. If ever they are any issues they would come back. We didn’t have any issues but my son broke one of the parts and they came out and fixed it for free. I have referred people to them as well.

Contact Gotcha Covered to buy new window treatments for my office. I have 5 fairly large windows. The owner, Randy came out to me to show me samples and offered some great suggestions as to what would work well. They were extremely professional and know what they are talking about. I'm sure I could have saved a little money going somewhere else, but I would not have gotten the same quality material or installation.The installers were also on time, friendly and effficient. It is clear Gotcha Covered cares about their employees and they care about the company. It's nice to hire an company who loves and is loved by their employees. The installers were very efficient and showed me the proper way to work the blinds...which was interesting, because I would have thought it was straight forward. But they discussed how the different blind angles would have different lighting effects in the room. I probably would have figured it out, but it wasn't something I had ever thought about.Bottom line: This is a company that provides high quality from start to finish and they were a joy to deeal with. I highly recommend them.

We visited their store to see the general stock they carried. We found that the initial sales rep we met with did not seem to share our goals or taste so we asked Randy, the owner, if he could bring samples to our house. He handled the situation professionally and smoothly. He came to our house with samples and helped us pick colors and styles to achieve our goals with the amount of light in different rooms. He gave great advice about color in two old bathrooms with oddly colored tile. There are more options with blinds than you could ever imagine, and many of them add cost. Randy helped us avoid unnecessary options and never tried the hard sell. He seemed to be trying to help us save money. A few of the blinds we chose had rebates and Randy filled out the rebate paperwork for us and submitted it. His partner came to hang the blinds about three weeks after we ordered them. He did a careful, professional job and worked hard to make sure everything was hanging straight even though some of our window frames are not completely square. He cleaned up after himself and was very pleasant. I gave them a B on pricing because they are more than big box stores but their service was so superior that it was totally worth it. Randy really knows his business.

Helene Weiner worked with me to design all aspects of window treatments for 7 windows in my new construction custom home on the north shore, including my entryway, living room, dining room and kitchen. She was my 3rd attempt at finding someone who could actually help me design something vs. push blinds or give me no direction and put a million books of fabric samples in front of me. Right away I could tell Helene had enormous experience from which to draw upon, had pictures to show her past work, and most importantly knew exactly how to give me the biggest bang for my buck without going overboard. I had a strong sense of what style I wanted but window treatments are complicated because there are so, so many options and details in the selection of fabric, backing, trim, hardware, etc., that it is overwhelming. Helene knew all of these things like the back of her hand and guided me through the selection process with her strong sense of what is going to look and work the best in a given space. I am the kind of person who asks a lot of questions and thinks things through a lot, and Helene always was patient and able to explain and illustrate. I also was very picky about the width of the stripe in the fabric for the living and dining rooms and we looked together for months until we found just the right one. She invested a lot of time with me during this process and everything turned out beautifully. People walk into my house and the window treatments are the first thing they notice. I have 15 more windows in my home that need window treatments and I plan on working with her for all of them.

I called for an estimate and to see if it was a project that they would be willing to take on. Randy, the owner, assured me that his work room could do just about anything. I brought the panels in. It took several weeks to have them done. The price was what I was told as an estimate. The drapery panels were fixed and they hung great in my living room. I was very pleased with the service, the work that was performed, and the price. Excellent company to deal with!!! Very polite and professional!!!

After deciding we wanted to meet with a Window treatment specailaist, I identified three companies using Angie's List and sent e-mail inquiries to each. Gotcha Covered responded within 12 hrs and we set an appointment for Helene to come to our house and discuss our needs. She gave us a few things to check out online in advance and we got together within a few days. We quickly identified Hunter Douglas's "Architella" shades as something which we liked, and met the energy efficiency goals. It even qualified for a federal tax energy credit ! Helene guided us through selections on color, size, and took all the necessary measurments. We opted for the retractable cord mechanism (UltraGlide) to raise and lower the shade. With two small children, we appreciated the fact that this would keep the cords out of their reach. Helene was professional and courteous through the entire consoltation and we felt comfortable to the point where we opted to sign a contract to proceed immediately. She'd covered all the bases and the product fit our needs to a tee ... so I didn't see the value in looking elsewhere. The shades arrived within 2 weeks, a date was set for installation and everything installed and functions perfectly. My wife, who was home during the installation, said the installer, Danny, was timely, cleaned up after himself, and very pleasant to work with. I also asked Helene durning our initial meeting about a wooden shade which had a broken tilt mechanism. She said they typically can repair them and reccomended I drop this at their office at Westren and Wilson. I did so a few days later and got to meet Randy, the owner. They took the blind in and I had it back approximately 1 week later, completely functional. When I dropped it off, Randy gave me a courtesy shade for the window an no extra cost. He was also able to come up with some clips to help hold on a valace which had been off the shade mechanism since we bought the house. This is a top notch company with people who work hard and care about meeting and exceeding their customers expectations. I can not reccomend them highly enough!

Her estimate was very high. She asked for feedback. I said her prices were very high. Her measurements were very different from other estimates. I told her they would need to remeasure, and I felt she got very nasty. I felt that was unnecessary. I then followed up with the owner of the company and he is coming out to recheck the measurements, I will then make a final decision.

They came out and measured for new blinds. I wrote them a check on April 13 for the 1st $400. They delivered on-time, however when the installers came they said a part was missing for one of the blinds. It was a pin that connects the wand to the blinds. They said they would have to order it, and when it came in they would call me to come put the part in. He gave me a bill, and I paid him. When the part came in, I noticed that I didn't recognize the part. I went to store to see if there was a display so I could see how it was installed so I could do it myself. They didn't have anything displayed in the store that I could look at, so they said they would send someone out like they had promised. I called later to let them know I couldn't install it, and I was told to call my handyman to see if he could install it. She said that they were busy and her partner was on vacation and that 'everyone has a life'. I said that I could meet them at 9am or 12p on a certain day, and she said she would get back to me but she never did. I ended up putting it in myself, however I don't believe I did it right. They are good salespeople, but not good business people. There is no follow through, or any coverage for any glitch that comes along. I'm not in a condition to be climbing an 8-ft ladder, however I was left no choice.

It was easy. We just had to pick to the color. This is the high priced spread -- although not more than others we have consulted -- but it takes all the work and worry out of the process.

Helene had several different ideas for our window treatment, which is limited in scope by one arched window. She suggested treatments that other vendors hadn't even mentioned. While we were talking, she asked if I had other quotes and tried to get a ballpark of the quotes. I didn't appreciate this, but was excited by the options she provided. She indicated she'd have to discuss the options with her manufacturer and would call me with a quote. Helene called a few days later with a quote on one of the options that I didn't expect her to quote on. The quote was higher than my competitive quotes. She came right out and asked me what the quotes were. I refused to give it to her and asked her to quote the other options she had mentioned at my house. I never heard back from her again.

I was really pleased with the whole experience. Randy came out very promptly and took all measurements and produced the estimate at that point. The new blinds came in even faster than I thought and the team worked with me to get the install scheduled at a time that would work for me. I would definitely use them again.

Helene came out as scheduled and measured for the new blinds. She took especial care selecting the color and made some additional recommendations that I did not take. She also indicated that they also do blind and Duette cleaning, which mine really needed, so I agreed to that. She then scheduled the installer to be the person who returned the clean blinds, so that I would have to wait for only one additional visit. Everything was accomplished on the designated days except for delays beyond the indicated time of the appointments.

From start to finish the experience was perfect, would highly recommend!

The initial visit was very good. Randy was on time (actually early) and brought help. Randy managed the measurements while his assistant worked with me to select colors and shade styles. At the end all three of us conferred to select the right shade. After selecting the shade style and color, Randy set my expectations with regard to lead time on the installation. Actual installation date was within the quoted window. After placing the order Randy called back to let me know that one feature (ultra-glide) was not available on the style of shade that I ordered. Instead he offered to add a better one-touch feature for the same cost since he should have known about the issue when the order was made. I felt this was an appropriate response and said yes. When the installation was done, they asked if I wanted the old blinds. I said no, and they offered to dispose of them for no charge. When the work was done, I couldn't tell they had been there, that's how thorough the clean up was. Overall I am very happy with my new blinds and with the service I received from Gotcha Covered.

I contacted Gotcha Covered through its website requesting an estimate for window treatments and got a response that same day. As I was 9 mos. pregnant at the time, and wanted our treatments installed sometime shortly after I returned home with the baby, Randy made himself available that same weekend and drove to our house from the far northside to the far southside for an 8:30 a.m. appointment. He arrived very professionally dressed with samples and books in tow. He was friendly from the get-go and did not act like a salesman moving in for the kill. We explained that we wanted treatments that would give us privacy but still allow us to enjoy the windows and natural light. We had been leaning toward draperies but he suggested roman shades instead because we could get the texture we wanted without the heaviness of drapes. In choosing fabrics, he veered us away from some choices (that would have been more expensive) because he either believed that we would not like them long term or would not fit with the decor or mood of the room. We completely trusted Randy to help us select fabrics and shades that fit our budget but also look good. Randy values customer satisfaction more than his own personal profit. We selected and ordered our window treatments for 8 windows in the living room and 4 windows in our dining room. Randy stated they would arrive within 2 weeks. They actually arrived early but I had gone into labor and delivered my baby during that time frame and missed a few of Randy's messages asking to set up a time to install. When I did call back, Randy scheduled a time to install the shades that was most convenient for me and his crew were in and out of the house in a couple of hours. They were also friendly and professional and cleaned up after themselves entirely. They showed me how to work the shades and answered all my questions. The finished product looks beautiful in our home and Randy was right on with his recommendations. We are very pleased with our selections and feel it was well worth the almost 3-year wait! I highly recommend Gotcha Covered.

We actually had the estimate done way back in February. When we decided to move forward, I called and they came quickly to do a final measuring and revisit fabric, style, etc. Curtains were finished within the timeframe they promised and they came to install soon after. I put a call in afterwards because we wanted wands for the curtain and they came back the next week (they had to be ordered) and put on the wands and also applied silicon to help the curtains slide better as they are pretty heavy (we have a large window area to cover.) Everyone we dealt with was very professional and considerate, taking their shoes off before coming in our home, etc.

Three of our master bedroom windows face east, so when the sun comes up early in the summer, our bedroom was bright at 4am. Randy proposed replacing the old blinds that fit inside the window frames with composite blinds sitting to the outside of the frames and then roller shades behind as our windows aren't very deep. We also replaced the other 3 window blinds in the room so everything would match. The solution worked, but then 2 of the other windows were bright and so we put in roller blinds there too. Ditto in one guest room. I might not have chosen this style of blind if I had known that the louvers wouldn't sit tight, but they look good and eventually we got the problem of light solved. Curtains that were hanging in our family room were floppy at the top so Randy brought in his curtain specialist who tried just stiffening the top first and when that wasn't enough, added some pleats. They look great now. Randy is really personable and thought through the problems with me. He and his associates were really great to work with.

Randy was extremely courteous, readily available to meet me at convenient times and locations, and knowledgable. He was up front about the cost and time of the project. Randy met me twice at the boat, several times at my place of work to exchange parts and pieces, and twice at his store to drop-off the existing curtain and pick-up the new one. Randy's folks were able to locate an obscure marine hook that was used to fasten the curtain to the track (he went so far as to give me a copy of the website so I can replace parts in the future). While were shooting for a replica of the old curtain (sans the gaudy floral print), the final product is a superlative replacement, and has definitely benefited the interior cabin of my boat. A guest on board commented on the curtains without being prompted! I hope to call Randy in the future for other projects at the boat and at home.

Great presentation. Great product choices. We just went with a very close, but lower bid from another company.
