Footprints Floors Chicago

We used Kyle and his company for flooring installation in 3 bedrooms, a landing, and 3 staircases in our new home. We were between 2 companies I went to bat for Footprints because the pricing was comparable to the other company but Kyle had been extra responsive and friendly at the onset so I felt we could entrust this large job to them. We had a few hiccups during the project which led to additional work needing to be done following the completion of the job but after having a conversation with Kyle and expressing our concerns and issues, he was willing and eager to do what he could to make it right and provided a discount to offset our additional out of pocket costs. He was also responsive to our constructive feedback and had conversations with his team on how to better their service and final product delivery. He cares about the work his company does and their reputation and takes the necessary actions to make the customer as satisfied as can be during their project.

Kyle and his team installed high quality hardwood floors in our upper level to match our bottom level. It was a fairly big project, but they tackled it with ease. We had some unique things for them to work with and everything turned out great. Aside from the quality of work, Kyle was great to work with and very communicative throughout the entire process. I'm glad we chose Footprints Floors to take on this project.

We have used footprints floors Chicago twice now. Both times I've been extremely impressed by their quality of work, attention to detail, and professionalism. They have taken 100+ years old wooden floors and made them look like new. Would definitely recommend them!

We had 2 areas of maple flooring that needed to be refinished. Including one area that had experienced water damage where a number of flooring boards needed to be replaced. The team from Footprints isolated those areas using plastic, and installed the new flooring, sanded both areas without the dust spreading anywhere else in the house. They applied appropriate stain and a finished coat. The floors turned out exactly how we wanted. We are very pleased with the work.

I'm a nervous wreck when it comes to home renovations, and I was hoping I wouldn't be *that* person, but Kyle was the most comforting person I've worked with outside of my family! We had very old floors that because of a previous renovation were beyond repair. Kyle and his team, work led by Raimundo, pulled up all the flooring in our condo, installed a new subfloor, and our new luxury vinyl in just a few days! Even though the project took just under a week, he answered all my questions for months before hand and was so accommodating for scheduling. I highly recommend Kyle and his team, especially for first time homeowners who haven't been through this experience! I'll be recommending him to my whole condo building and friends in the area! My fiancé is also impressed, and he's a hard man to please! Whoever you're comparing against, pick Kyle. You won't regret it.

The work that Kyle and the team did was amazing. They installed the floor and took the time and care as if it were their own house. Any floor work done moving forward will definitely be with them.

We had a very challenging flooring project. The floor was very un-level and had a terrible subfloor material. Footprints took out the existing subfloor and leveled everything and installed plywood to nail our hardwood floor to. The result looks fantastic and is much better than I thought it could be. Kyle was great to work with, he was honest and fair and the job was started and finished on time.

The team was efficient with the work, was prompt with communication, and did an excellent job with the flooring. I hired Footprints to refinish the floors in my condo. Kyle came in person to do an estimate, was honest with me about what could and could not be addressed, and was easy to communicate with throughout the process. I am happy with the results and would recommend them!
