Chicago Hauling

I called on Thursday of this week and they were here on Saturday at exactly the time they said they would be here. They were polite and professional and worked hard and got the entire job done with clean up in less than 2 hours. We would definitely hire them again. We are thinking of calling them back to haul an old TV and couches out of our basement. We would highly recommend them.

Ventura was very easy to work with to schedule the time to come do the work. The crew was very polite and friendly. They worked hard and got the job done quickly.

We had a very positive experience with Chicago Hauling from start to finish. My telephone call to them was returned very promptly and courteously and Ventura asked good questions and gave good advice. In my town, it's necessary to get a Building Permit (yeah, ironic, isn't it) in order to demolish a structure the size of a small garage, and this proved to be time-consuming (and patience-consuming), but Ventura stayed in touch throughout the whole process as I tried to get the permit. He then scheduled the demolition at a time convenient for me. His workers arrived in a timely way, proceeded to take the garage apart efficiently piece by piece, carefully, so that there was no damage to plants in the yard. They worked industriously and finished the job in one day. VEntura came to help and supervise the job and check with me. They hauled away all the boards, shingles, cement, etc., and left the work site in very good condition. They were great! I'd hire them again in a minute (but I don't have anything else to tear down).

Overall it was a great experience for the price. I called at 2pm on a Saturday and someone came out for an estimate at 3:30 pm we agreed on a price and they began work Monday. There was a bit of a misunderstanding in the first job but I called and the foreman came immediately and corrected the situation. The work was very hard manual labor and we are quite pleased.

I had water damage in my basement and had to have all the paneling and drywall removed. I called Paul and he came out the same day and gave me an estimate and a date and time for the job. Paul called me the next day and offered to come out and do the job a day earlier, which worked out much better for me.

They drove by the garage the same day I called and provided the estimate right away. The price seemed to be on target with what I've heard, but still out of our price range. If we do decide to spend the money, I will most likely call them to do the work.

Ventura's professional demeanor and flexible scheduling is what you look for in a contractor. He and his guys showed up on time the day I needed the work done. The two-day estimate for the porch demolition decreased because he committed five workers to my project and had the entire demo and haul-off done in one day. The porch came down with zero damage to the house and surrounding property. The yard became filled with scrap and an eight foot pile of debris yet it all was removed, leaving our backyard in near-identical condition as when the crew arrived this morning. The job was done by hand and I am amazed at the results!

I urgently needed hauling services. My previous tenants had moved out, leaving a number of furniture and other items in the apartment and storage unit. When my new tenants moved in, they had nowhere to put all of their things. I logged in to Angie's List, called Ventura Munoz and had next day hauling of all the surplus furniture and storage items, freeing up the space for my new tenants.

Chicago Hauling is excellent, just fantastic! They are a great company! They work quickly and efficiently. They also have great customer service skills. They are very professional and punctual. All of our questions were answered to our satisfaction. They were very helpful, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is the second time we have used Ventura/Chicago Hauling and are very pleased. Ventura always answers the phone, makes an appointment to give an estimate right away (this last job he came a few hours after I called), and shows up exactly when he says he will. They usually come the next day. Both times the work was done quickly, professionally, and to my specifications. I have received my money's worth for sure on both jobs. Ventura is pleasant to deal with and find him and his workers trustworthy, polite and ready to get the job done. The work they have done for us is hard work, dirty work, and I was pleased enough to give the two workers a tip. I will never call on anyone else--Ventura gets the job done.

I'm very happy with what they did. It was a nice demolition job and nice removal of all the junk. They cleaned up after themselves very well.

Ventura came out on Saturday morning and gave me the estimate and his men came in about an hour and a half to do the work. They did exactly as I had asked, in a quick and efficient manner - wouldn't even stop for a cold drink when I offered one - and they were done in about 2 hours. Both spaces were cleaned out and swept, as though nothing had been there. They were polite and friendly, as Ventura's workers always are. This is the 3rd time I have used this company and last year my son also used them, on my recommendation, to clear out his late father's apartment. They have never failed to satisfy in the way they go about their work and Ventura, with his friendliness and charm is his own best advertisement

Ventura had given us a quote for the work after we had done some demolition ourselves. The price was the best we found and he didnt require a dumpster which was a must for us. His workers worked efficiently and although it took a day or two beyond what he had thought, we are happy with the results.

It took a few hours for them to saw apart and remove a huge outside jacuzzi. They had to carry the pieces down three flights of stairs. It happened to be snowing and the wind was blowing quite a bit, so we were not expecting them to come, but they did and they did a wonderful job. They cleaned up and did not damage anything in the process. We were very satisfied and would use them again.
