Will was great! My calls were answered quickly and the company is very prompt and responsive. Easy to work with, very professional. I felt that Will was extremely knowledgeable about fixing my oven. I would use them again and recommend them highly.

The service person, Rich, was excellent. After describing the problem to him he diagnosed it instantly. Once he took the cover off the washing machine he confirmed that the motor isolation and coupling gear broke. He the whole process was completed and it was working and assembled in 35 minutes. Rich is very experienced and knowledgeable. He easily dealt with a rusted out screw on the top control that had to be drilled out in order to open the machine. The company does not have an office and you talk with an answering service, but once you understand the setup it is not an issue. They called me to make the appointment within an hour of contacting the answering service. I would definitely use them again. The price paid was after the Angie's List discount.

I spoke with the owner over the phone, and the owner was very punctual and professional. Manny, who came out was very helpful. Our dishwasher and fridge had expensive repair part that needed replacement and he did not try to make any extra money off of us and gave us many helpful tips on maintaining our household appliances and getting to the most cost effective solution. Pleasure to work with. We really liked him and are very satisfied with his services. We would use them again.

Rich was excellent. Very professional and personable. Was on time and got everything done in a timely manner. Even helped me clean out my liquid bleach cup/tube which was clogged.

Service appointment was great. The repairman, Will, showed up on time and was able to repair the dryer.

After knowing what brand of appliance I had, Chicago Appliance could not assist me. However, Al was very helpful, listened to my "unprofessional" diagnosis of the issue I was experiencing, and spent time with me on the phone going through options. All of this even knowing his company could not provide service for the model I had. This to me speaks volumes of how Al and Chicago Appliance would treat me if I could have become a customer. So while I can not make a recommendation on "service provided", if I have an issue with any other appliance I have I will definitely contact Chicago Appliance because of this very pleasant experience I had.

Rich came promptly and went right to work. He previously called and asked about the problem and the model so that when he arrived he had the parts on his truck. He diagnosed the problem right away and repaired it. He stayed until he was satisfied that the oven was operating properly. Very professional!

Rich was great, very professional and friendly. He had to go back for the part but let me know all the particulars in advance. The replacement of the part was quick be Rich also made sure to check that it worked properly.

Rich arrived on time and was very informative. He assessed the problem and explained the mechanics to me.He had the coils that needed to be replaced in his truck, and the job was completed quickly.My dryer now works perfectly. My property is covered by a home warranty. They were unable to service it for 3 days. I called Chicago Appliance to leave a message at 9:15pm for the next day. I was shocked that a very kind service man named Al called me back within minutes. He assured me he would have a technician out the next day. He did not disappoint. By 9:30 am the appointment was scheduled with my tenant and David called when he was enroute(on time) to confirm with her. David was skilled and knowledgeable and very personable. He had to do a lot of follow up with the warranty company for me to get reimbursed and he did it perfectly. If only he could be the person I deal with whenever there is a breakdown of appliances! This is a company that really makes the industry proud. I have had so many lemons, with big guys like Sears unable to even keep an appointment, that it is refreshing to be presented with a company that cares and knows there stuff. Thank you Al and David. I thought this was going to be a nightmare when the tenant called and you made it so easy. 100% customer service must be your motto and 100% I will recommend again and again. Thanks for a job well done.

After some trouble coordinating (They said they'd call back to schedule a time on Saturday - and then just showed up without calling) Mario arrived and identified various issues with the dryer. He replaced a dryer belt and identified a bad valve that was making a high-pitched squealing noise. He adjusted the valve thereby saving me money. He performed the work quickly and quietly, and was very professional.

Richard was great. He was on time and found the issue immediately. He quickly replaced the part. We've been using the machine for weeks now and it is working fine - no leaks. I highly recommend

He attempted a cheap and easy fix that did not work because the compressor had failed. David quickly recommended that with the age of the fridge it was not really worth it. So he only charged the flat $69 service fee. He was friendly and professional.

Repairman, Rich, came within the scheduled time. I was thrilled to get a same day appointment. He made the repair efficiently and explained the problem. I was very satisfied with the service.

I called around noon expecting that they would not be able to send a technician that day especially given that it wasnt an emergency. The dispatcher called me back within 20 minutes and advised that a technician could come in about an hour. The technician called to discuss the problem ahead of time and showed up within the hour. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes, checked the rest of the systems, and cleaned the refrigeration coils, too. David the technician was courteous and let me know that he appreciated the business. I'm happy with the work and the price, and the refrigerator is less noisy now too!

They worked with us, even though we had to have a neighbor let them in. Very quick, punctual, and friendly.

Our washing machine broke down and even though it was old it chapped our hide to have to put out five or six hundred bucks for a new one. I signed up for Angies List and selected chicago appliance service co as it appeared to have the highest rating with the most reviews. We called on Sunday, FATHERS DAY! An answering service took our message and we received a call back from Rich who stated that he could come the next day at 9:30 a.m. He said he would call when he was 20 minutes away. The next day he called when he was 20 minutes away and arrived at 9:30 am. My husband took him into the basement where he emerged 20 minutes later having fixed the machine. He explained there was a ball bearing problem of some sort and that we would probably get another year or two out of the machine before it would give up the ghost. He charged us 85.00. We promptly set about washing our accumulated dirty laundry and we simply could not be happier with the stellar service of Rich and the Chicago Appliance Service Co.

Called at 9:30am to see if they service my area. Was told by the answering service they will send my message to the repair guy and he will call back in 10-15 minutes. Its now 11:30am, no call. So I called another repair place that answered right away. UPdate: He called at 3:30 and told me they were having trouble with the answering service getting messages through to them for about 4 hours today. He apologized also. So I would consider using them in the future.

He was very professional and answered all questions in an easily understandable manner. I highly recommend him and his company.

Washer spins wet laundry but that is it. No draining and I am looking at a sopping load of wet towels. I have used Chicago Appliance Service Co (recently so look for their review) and so there was only one place to call. As expected, the service tech called to assess the situation before coming over. Rich and Brian were the technicians and worked well together to make sure the problem was correctly identified. They were not 'part swappers' but true technicians who took the time to explain what the problem was and the fix. They provided me with a fair estimate and indicated that the problem would be resolved in the one visit. I really appreciate their service and professionalism and would recommend Chicago Appliance Service Co for all your appliance needs.

I called when the office was closed. The answering service said I would get a call back within 15 minutes, and I did. Will was our repairman. He was professional, punctual, and personable. He called back right away, made an appointment for 2 days in the future, showed up when he said he would, and got right to work. He was very careful to put down rags on the floor while he was working. I appreciated that he showed that respect for my home. He explained exactly what the problem was and fixed it. If I ever need appliance repair again, I will ask for him.

I called and within minutes got a return call. Within an hour Rich was looking at my dryer. This is the second time I have used them and again they gave great service.

Called at 8 a.m. Rich was here by noon, found the problem immediately. He had the part with him, and was able to fix the washer in no time. He is quite professional and knows what he is doing.

Couldn't have been better. We have used Rich's services in the past so we knew we were in good hands. Our dryer would spin but would not dry as there was no heat. I called Chicago Appliance Company ((773)631-5151 or online http://www.chicagoappliance.net/) on Memorial Day expecting to hear how my was important to them and please leave a message at the beep. Didn't happen, a real person took the call and said a technician would be calling back in 15 minutes. Surprise, Rich called back on time and we discussed the dryer issue and he assured me it was no big deal and he would be there first thing Tuesday. First thing, 8am, he was here as promised. He set right to work and while the dryer did heat up first thing, don't you hate it when that happens, he then turned it off to simulate an on/off cycle. Then he turned it back on while warm and bingo, no ignition nor heat. Thank you very much. Rich found the problem in just a few minutes and explained what the problem was. He had the parts in the truck and had them replaced in a jiffy. He then vacuumed out the inside the dryer as there was a lot of dust/lint in the works. Now I am back and drying (catching up that is). But wait, there's more. We have a basement refrigerator and just when you settle in for a Hawks game it decides to cheer along. Cheer or screech if you are a Duck's fan. A fan in the back of the freezer had a bad bearing and would make a racket at either start up or in the middle of its run. You could either whack the fridge, ineffective. Unplug the fridge for the game, but given 3 playoff overtimes that could put your goodies at risk of warming. Or just turn up the game to cover the noise. So after fixing the dryer Rich tackled this surprise in a flash. He had the problem diagnosed and even had the replacement motor on his truck. So in as much time as it took to fix the dryer he had our refrigerator running as quiet as the church mouse. This is an excellent example of a two-fer. Two major appliances repaired in one trip with excellent service and a fair price. I highly recommend Rich and the Chicago Appliance Company for their excellent service from taking the call through service. Thank you
