He was prompt and neat. The job was fine, but we felt he went rather slow...one window per hour.

Bob was great and did an excellent job.

This is not a deal they charge 50.00 dollars per hour for normal service there coupon is 2 hours of service for 98.00 dollars. You r getting 2.00 off. When I talked to them originally for the work they added an additional 3 hours bringing the total to 250.00. Not a good deal. Should read 50.00 for two hours and additional 50.00 after that. They have yet to perform the work.

It was probably my false expectations on handy man. Living in the city I don't have space for tools so I thought it would be a good project to hire a handy man, possibly repair a leaky dishwasher (realized this may be more of a specialist issue), hang a closet door and fix a leaky faucet. Dude shows up says can't fix the dishwasher, hangs door (15 minutes worth of work) and say cheaper to replace faucet (but doesn't actually do it). So in effect I paid $360 / hr for his service, got a door hung and then he asked my wife to pay for parking since it was not covered. Dick.

The provider showed up late and unprepared. He didn't have his insurance card with him. He was unwilling to retrieve it in order to honor the appointment, stating that it would be inconvenient, as he lived far away. He said he would recommend someone else to come out instead, and that plan was never implemented. Several subsequent phone calls went unanswered and unreturned. Upon contacting him regarding a refund the following week, he was unfamiliar and unapologetic. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional situation. I do not know how he became associated with Angie's List.

Everything went very well. Ken was prompt, knowledgeable and did an excellent job. I will definitely use them again.

Things went well. The serviceman had to go to a home service store to purchase a necessary part.was satisfied with the service, everything was workingl properly when he left. He arrived at the scheduled time.

They never called me to schedule the appointment. I had called their number and it was afterhours and they no one ever called back. I ended up getting a refund for the service.

They never responded to my calls and I could not get anything scheduled. I ended up getting a refund from Angie's List.

Leon was great. He was on time and the project was completed on time.

Dirk visited my condo twice to give an estimate for an extensive kitchen remodeling. He was fine the first visit, but left many unanswered questions about his estimate I scheduled his second visit and he brought in a contractor to fill in what he believed to be new information about the job. Fair enough. But at the conclusion of that visit, he still had numbers in his estimate that he was not willing to guarantee yet expected me to sign a contract on the spot to get going. Dirk represents himself as a full-service contractor but he is clearly not. He turned me off by expecting me to sign (and put a deposit) on a job that he admittedly could not precisely estimate. I felt this was unprofessional, and to boot he told me when I said that I was uncomfortable signing the contract that "I'm not coming back here again if you don't" - as if it was a threat? Sorry, Dirk - represent your services well and people may sign. But put forth a half-baked proposal and expect a half-baked response. In my experience, contractors who play it "loosey goosey" in the beginning will wind up costing you more down the line. Proceed with caution. (Again, I admit I can't vouch for the quality of his work because I didn't have him do it, but based on the initial interaction there were serious enough red flags to not move ahead.)

I scheduled work with Matt, who was very responsive, obliging, and incredibly fair in his pricing. Aeron and Jeff were prompt, friendly, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. It was great to have their expertise and skill in tackling what can be a stressful home improvement effort. I recommend Budget Right Handyman and have already scheduled them again to continue work on my basement. It is a great feeling having a reliable go-to handyman company!

Excellent! They were extremely responsive, punctual, and efficient. I had no problems setting up the appointments. Phone calls were returned promptly. Aeron Kaster was the guy who did the work for me and he did an excellent job. Everything was explained to me ahead of time, he had me do spot checks every now and then to make sure everything looked good, and he did a wonderful job cleaning everything up. He was also extremely polite and patient with me when I explained what I needed. This is the first time I've used a Handy Man service and I'm extremely happy with my experience. I'd absolutely use them again in the future!

It went good. They got the job done in less than a week and they were really quick. The worker was great, nice, convenient, and did a great job. He asked my opinion when needed. The cleanup was good.

Very punctual & got the job done. Very pleasant & helpful carpenter, Aeron. He was a good problem solver. It should be noted that high quality, "finished" work was not required or requested by me. Therefore, I am unable to judge best quality of work well. You must supply your own materials or make arrangements and pay for them getting the materials for you.

Every time I try to schedule them to come out, they say they need three weeks heads-up. It’s been impossible to get them to come out, so I’ll need a refund. They’re very nice, but I they’re a bit overscheduled – which is a good sign, because it obviously means people like the work they do.

Ken was clean and neat when he did the work in my house. He is an experienced young man. I was impressed that he didn't run out the door after doing a 20-minute job. He offered to take a look at other projects since I had at least another hour and half. The details: my stopper was not working in my Jacuzzi tub. I thought I had to have a part of my wall removed to repair the job. It was as simple as unscrewing a few things and cleaning out the stopper. Ken showed me the build-up that was in the stopper. I had him look at my two sinks, they were bigger problems. They would have taken more than the balance of time and I needed to have the 2 new stoppers in order to do the work. I did have another project. One of my roman shades fell from my winder several months ago. I could not fix it. A friend tried to fix it. I was told it could not be fixed. As a result, I went and purchased curtain rods to install new window treatments. Ken took a look at the shade and was able to repair it!!! He saved me $$$. I was well pleased!!

This was my first time using a handyman service. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This company had a very quick turnaround in assigning someone to my job. The hourly rate I was charged ($49) was just over a half of what six other companies that I called charged. I was suspicious about the quality of work that I would get for such a reasonable price. However, my concerns went away as soon as Aeron walked in. He was fabulous in every way. He could handle every task that we threw at him. He is experienced in every trade that we asked him to handle, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. He showed up exactly on time and handled every task efficiently. In fact, I was amazed at how fast he worked, and he even finished all the additional work I asked him to do in under the time I had originally estimated. He kept me posted on how the company charged so there would be no surprises. The quality of all the work was outstanding. He fixed things quickly that others had told me could not be fixed or that it would take a long time to fix. He also is a perfectionist who wanted to make things better even though I thought they were fine, such as making sure that large art was hung exactly the proper way.. In short, I give this company and enthusiastic A. I would (and in fact plan to) use them again for some additional tasks.

When I contacted them to schedule the work, they were very responsive. Runiz came when he said he would and did good job on the work. The work was very neat, well done, he was courteous, and he cleaned up well after the job was complete. When he came the next time to finish up the work, he was supposed to bring materials to complete additional work on molding that I was going to commission him for. He explained that the materials had not come in yet. When he was supposed to come again, he never called or showed up. I did try to contact them and the owner never got back with me as well. I was not happy with that, but I was happy with the work that he did complete.

I had to work so I was not home at the time of service, but my mom was pleased with the customer service and we were all pleased with the results. He completed a long list of jobs in 4 hours and all were done to our satisfaction. The baby gates were in tricky locations, but he found great solutions.

There was one technician here doing the work. He showed up on time for the appointment and he was professional. Scheduling went fine and it easy to get an appointment with them.

They scheduled me right away and they were prompt. The handyman was informative and he did what he came to do. He cleaned up everything that he used when he was finished.

Ken was by far the best handyman we have ever had in Chicago. And we have had our fair share. We will definitely use him again.
