Aeron arrived on time, a little bit early in fact. It was not a problem as we got it done sooner. He was professional and courteous. Got the job done quickly, cleaned up well and didn't leave a mess. The service was excellent.

I had some water damage because of the winter that we had. I needed to have the floors redone and have the insulation taken out. They came out and cut a hole in the ceiling below where the water damage was so they could take the insulation out. However, I decided not to proceed with their services for a couple of reasons. When I called them, they didn't call back and I had to call them several times. The gentleman came out and I spoke with him about the different things that I would like to be done. However, when they called me back several days later, they didn't seem to have any kind of track in terms of what I need to be done. I asked them for an estimate, but they never called me back with the estimate when they told me they would. The core work was for them to seal the ceiling back with the insulation and paint it but the one thing that was a little disturbing is that they had a two-hour minimum charge. I wanted them to take the toilet and sink out so that the floors could be redone in addition to the ceiling repair. It was $49 dollars an hour plus the two-hour minimum so their fee was essentially $99 an hour, which was fine. However, they told me that they would have to charge me the two-hour minimum to take the toilet and sink out and another two-hour fee to put it back even if the job itself would probably take them 20 minutes. I thought it was ridiculous, so I just hired a regular plumber and it took him 10 minutes. I didn't see why I should spend four hours of money for that toilet work. When I asked them to take the toilet out, they recommended another company for the flooring. When I called that company, they didn't call me back. When the guy from that company arrived at my house, he was almost an hour late and didn't bother to apologize. He gave me the estimate that was completely out of the range of any other estimates I've had for the same job. I didn't use his service. I wouldn't use Budget Right Handyman's services again primarily because of the pricing and the fact that they recommended another company. I still have the hole in my ceiling but I haven't called them back because I just felt like it was a little disastrous. In terms of the work that they did, the quality was fine and I was happy with it.

When they came out the first time, they realized the work that we needed to be done was a little different than we thought, so they arranged with us for another date to come out and do the work that we needed and Aeron was here, he was on time, and he was absolutely fantastic. He helped us with some electrical work and he mounted a microwave for us. He was really helpful in terms of helping us understand some do's and don'ts about some of the other things that we wanted to get done.

I had some holes put in my ceiling from insulation installation that needed to be repaired. They came and repaired the drywall and did an excellent job.

The service was alright. He was a nice guy. He installed the GCIF outlets incorrectly so I had to get those reinstalled. I was upset that I was charged extra especially since the work was not done correctly.

It was so-so. A guy from the company came out within the first few weeks after I purchased the big deal and he did not charge me anything more than the big deal price. The work that he did was fine. I had some trims that came undone and I wanted him to fix that but he did not have a nail gun so I was just like, "Okay. Well, just patch stuff and get out of here." So, I felt like he was not really equipped with the right tools. When he came out he was like, "What do you need done?" And that was the first and foremost thing that I wanted done and he was like, "Yeah, I do not have any nail gun." Being a handyman, he should have been equipped with stuff or he should have called me ahead of time and asked what I needed done so that he could be prepared when he got here.

Steve arrived at our home a bit early, but he was patient enough yo wait for us to arrive. We needed a new sink faucet and a leak in our pipe to be repaired. Steve was able to determine what type of faucet we needed. He went to the hardware store and purchased the faucet for which we reimbursed him and he installed it quickly. The faucet works extremely well. The pipe with the leak needs more extensive time and we will certainly call again to schedule an appointment for the pipe and any other work which needs to be done. I would certainly recommend Brian's to anyone.

Aeron did an excellent job. He was available earlier than the scheduled time which was great. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He explained what was needed and our options if something would require more time/expense. (We bought a 2-hour Angie's deal for $98.) I am very satisfied with his work, and thrilled to have these odds 'n ends taken care of. I would definitely use him again!

He was on time and very professional. My Mom said lots of good things about him.

Steve called to let me know that he was available slightly ahead of our scheduled appointment time, and asked if we wanted to wait until the scheduled time or start early. We opted to start the work early, and he began by looking over the details of the work to be done to select the tools needed for the job; went down to the truck for tools; and hung the TV. He was friendly and personable -- my wife enjoyed discussing 70s and 80s television while he worked, and I learned a few things from him about the differences between traditional single-family-unit wood-frame construction and modern condominium buildings. After the TV was done, we did the laundry room install. Getting in and out of the space required significant gymnastics -- once the units were stacked and connected, Steve ended up climbing on top of the units to squeeze out near the ceiling. Both those tasks were done within the originally scheduled two hours. Since Steve had been helpful, we opted to keep him longer for some furniture assembly; he did as much as he had time for before his next appointment, and took his leave. Later that evening, we discovered an issue -- while the dryer had been connected, the gas valve had not actually been turned on, and the valve was inaccessible without repeating the aforementioned acrobatics. We called the company (after hours), and Steve got back to us first thing the next morning, offering to come by between two jobs that day. He did precisely as promised -- showing up, getting into the hard-to-reach area, turning the knob, and swiftly departing. I don't believe this experience dampened our overall happiness with the service provided at all -- to the contrary, it provided information on how Budget Right handles mistakes: Swiftly, accurately, and at their own cost. We would gladly use them again.

He was very good with the service. He made a really good suggestion that saved me a lot of money so that was really nice.

Everything went well and was done with time to spare on my 2 hour coupon! P.S. the review from 4/18/14 was for another contractor, Angie's List moved it to correct company but couldn't retrieve it from your page. Sorry for the mixup.

Tim did a great job. Upon completion, I also had him provide me his feedback/insights on my next project aka a bathroom remodeling. Tim was helpful with his opinions and high level recommendations. I plan to reach out to Budget Right to schedule an in-person consultation with their remodeling experts to address my bathroom remodeling ideas.

Installed new faucet, sink, and reconnected plumbing in 2 hours, which is less than originally estimated. Charge by the hour far less than rate of most plumbers. Did a very good job too. Even ran out to the local Ace hardware to pick up supplies that I forgot to purchase. Will certainly use again, highly recommend!

Service went well. I scheduled another date to have other work completed.

Although I had to wait a few weeks for an appointment, they did a nice job. I would certainly have them again.

All 3 projects were completed in less than 3 hours and to the level of quality we would expect. The handyman that came was on time and very professional. We've used them before and would use them again.

He was great. The scheduling and thoroughness were fantastic. I have their number on my refrigerator.

The serviceman that came to my house was fantastic. He had all the tools he needed, he was neat, he listened to what I wanted done, he finished much more quickly than I expected (I had been told by another handyman that this installation would take 2 hours plus and it too him less than 20 minutes!) He asked what else he could do and did a nice job on the other items, too.

It was not so good. One of the things I had asked to have done is to fix the toilet. To take the toilet up, they have to put a new ring in and he said he can do that. I just need to go out and buy that which I did. When he came out, he said it doesn’t really need that and I can just take those back. Two days later, the toilet is still having a leak. He was supposed to get back to me on other things that I wanted done and he never did. I wasn’t too happy with it. I’m not sure the Big Deals are worthwhile. It wouldn’t have been a bad price if the work had been done.

Aeron was great. When up into our attic. Made a great installation. Great guy.

I put off writing this review, because I really dislike giving bad reviews of a company. It took place about a year ago, so I can not remember the handyman's name. I purchased a deal on Angie's List for $79 for two hours. He let me know up front that he probably would need more than the two hours, which was fine with me. We had some plumbing underneath the sink that needed to be shifted from a right position to the center. The handyman did this work for us, but I am guessing he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. (When I called the company prior to this, they said that they could do plumbing work) He took several trips to Home Depot during the work time and admitted to me that he was asking people in the aisles how he could fix our sink the right way - apparently it was an unconventional setup. What I ended up with was a nice vanity top (installed properly), some crazy pipes underneath the sink that do not allow for much storage, and a faucet that the handles were installed improperly. I asked him about the faucet because it looked like it was installed wrong. He said that it was the only way he could do it (maybe because of the pipes underneath -- I really have no idea) We have to turn it on by pushing the handles from the center to the right or left - instead of turning the handles in towards the faucet. So, I am living with a wonky faucet now. I'm guessing a plumber would have done a much better job. By the time it was over, I ended up spending an additional $200+ above my deal...I'm guessing a plumber would have charged a similar amount.

I purchased a Big Deal for $79 for a handyman for two hours. Everything went well, but the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise when it is on. We called and left a message for him to come back and fix it but there has been no response.

They replaced a steel, exterior door. The service was fine, I was happy with it.

They didn't finish the work. I called them many times with their different phone numbers but I never heard back.
