Not much. Came with no tools and had to have my son and me help him do his job or do it all for him. Terrible experience.

They didn’t do a spectacular job, but they were on time, polite, and reasonably priced.

Excellent - Aaron is fantastic - very professional and did not even take a lunch break. The owner was very responsive to concerns I had - will totally use them again!

First, I had a guy come early and I wasn't home so he called the office to send someone else because he didn't want to have to leave early and I would get charged again. I explained that was not going to happen. When I finally had someone come he didn't really seem to know what he was doing, he drilled multiple holes and didn't bother to patch them up. Once they were actually up they were fine. Pretty disappointed in the service over all.

It went very well! The gentleman, Phillip arrived slightly early.. He assessed what needed to be done and completed the task in an extremely professional and timely manner. At first, I was hesitant to use Budget Right Handyman however,I am glad I did. I definitely will recommend Budget Right Handyman to my friends and colleagues.

Steve came out and repaired our storm door. It was not closing right, it was catching at the top and was very squeaky. Steve knew just what the problem was and had it repaired in less than 30 minutes. I also had Steve look at a bi-fold door that was not closing properly. Steve adjusted the door and suggested that I pickup a spring for it. Steve was great! He knew exactly what to do, was very polite and I will definitely use Steve again in the future.

He was fantastic! He was so efficient and very professional. When he finished one job, he'd smile and ask, "What next?" There was a mix-up about the time, but it worked out fine and it wasn't an inconvenience for me. He was able to be flexible. It was such a good service. I told all my friends about him. I will be using his services again on future projects! I believe his name is spelled Rumis Corral, and I would definitely ask for him again.

Nate came in got to work right away, completed the job, cleaned up afterward and left. Mission accomplished.

They did a good job at a few different tasks. Plumbing. cleaning, cauking and re grouting. Handyman called and asked if he could start a little earlier so "A" for promptness as well.

I called to set up the appointment, and before even asking what needed to be done, the man asked about parking. I let him know that there was a paid lot and metered parking in the street. He told me that I would have to reimburse them for parking. I then let him know that I just needed to have a bed and tv stand assembled. He asked how many pieces there were and then told me he was going to go ahead and tack on an extra hour (for a total of 3 hours). I requested to speak with someone else, he told me absolutely not, to call Angie's List to get a refund, and then hung up on me!

Matt was extremely efficient at scheduling the repair. Steve arrived early and did the job to my entire satisfaction?and needed less time than expected.

Showed up on time and was really nice and professional - worked through all the items on my list and even noticed something I hadn't seen and fixed it. Really great.

Someone was supposed to come the Saturday before, but failed to show. The person who came on the following Monday was excellent and accomplished a lot in the two hour block we'd paid for.

The service went well. The technician was professional and did a great job. He was knowledgeable and punctual. I had him install the medicine cabinet including an electrical outlet, vanity, toilet handle and bath towel rack in the bathroom. He did run out of time for any additional projects which was a little disappointing. I did not think what I needed would take so long. He also had to leave to go to a store for something which counted towards the time I purchased. I wish that would have been clearer in the deal. I ended up having to pay an additional fee to have him stay 2 more hours. I did think their pricing was excellent compared to other companies I looked into. They were very flexible with my schedule and would call to check in to see when I would be ready for the job.

I was very excited to finally have the money to get this work done and was confident, based on all these reviews that i would get good, quality work and not be taken advantage of since i am a female. I was wrong and sooo disappointed. I purchased 2-3 hours of work based on what was found during the lights being changed. I was clear about what was needed but that did not get fully communicated to Pete. Also, Pete was unhappy with the outiside work and made that clear. Pete was my handyman, and he did install the lights and they seem to work, but based on his other work, i feel i need to get an electrician here to make sure he did the wiring correctly. Also he did not caulk around the two exterior light fixtures he installed. He finished the lights quickly and asked if inhad anything else, which i did. I asked him to check a curling shingle. He said it was a nail pop and hammered the nail down but its not sealed... Then i asked if he could cut down to closet bifold doors and one of the rails. The doors were each 1/4" too wide. He sais he could and he did that well, except he did not sand down the wood. The problem was when he put up the rail. I had allready hung one rail and it was straight, level and true. He hung the second one and it is way off...i don't know if he even used a level but there is no way he measured. it looks awful and in the summer there is no way the door will work when one is off from the other that much. Had i realized what he had done i would have had him stop and leave, but in my ignorance, i agreed to anothet hour (4 now plus the 25 trip charge even though he lives in DuPage county) to finish tihe closet (he trmmed down the door overhang trim and nailed it in. Of course its off since the rails are off amd i will probable destroy it getting it down to fix the rails). I have Container Store Elfa system for my LR closet. All i asked him to do is hand the rail that hold the bars. It had 4 screws. What a nightmare! It was so off you could see it, one side was 1/2 lower, whcih meant the shelves would never work. So i tried removing it today. 4 hours later i got the stripped screws out to show the 8 holes he made in my closet. Four are huge, for toggles, because he didn't test drill to see if he needed a toggle first. So now, i have to re-do much of what i paid him to do. I had such high hopes, since i really need someone i trust to help me, but this is not the person if you want work done correctly, which i do, especially when i pay this rate. Also i did not get the 10% off for fthe angies list first-time customer.

I recently purchased two hours of handyman services from Budget Right Handyman to assist with items that have been on my to-do list for months. Budget Right Handyman exceeded my expectations! Daniel was punctual, professional, friendly, courteous, and did a great completing the items on my list. The process was so smooth -- I wish I had taken advantage of this service a long time ago. I am very pleased with the service, and will definitely use them again for future repairs or installations. Thanks Daniel!

Mr. Cowan called and asked if he could come a little early which was fine with me and more convenient. He came in asked what needed to be done and in short order had all the tasks taken care of. I was very satisfied with the job done.

I used them to fixed doors that were not working properly in my house. He finished the doors with time to spear and I ask him to install a special shower head and it was fine.

Bob and Aaron came over to install new cabinets, and they did a fantastic job as usual. After using Bob for a few smaller jobs, this is the biggest job I've had Budget Right do yet, and I'm totally sold. They also spared my granite counter top, as the old cabinets had been ripped out and the counter was propped on wood planks - I know this sort of work is really risky and they did a great job. They also made a few recommendations for me on things I just don't know about, like upgrading the dishwasher water line to help avoid future leaks or catastrophic water damage. They're totally professional and really nice guys, I'll keep using them for everything.

They were excellent. They did a very good job. The clean up was excellent. They were very professional. No complaints.

I had a handyman come over to install a ceiling fan. He said he couldn’t do it, because I needed to have electrical work done by a licensed electrician. I'm trading in my Big Deal for an electrical one instead, but I would use them again. They were very nice.

I retained the firm to hang some curtain rods in my condo. Handyman did a great job! Careful, tidy, cordial. Made the effort to do the job right so that the walls were undamaged and the curtain rods were perfectly straight and secure. Very pleasant and courteous. Had extra time left (I had purchased a two-hour coupon) and asked if there was another task I needed done, so hung jewelry armoire. I would definitely use this company again, good honest service, good craftsmanship, good pricing, all-around good work!

My husband was there at home with the person. According to him, everything went out great. He was there all the time. His service was very decent. I didn't spent an additional cost. He took the coupon and that was it.

Pete did good work installing light fixtures and shelving.
