Great service. Our locksmith was very knowledgeable and helpful. He even went beyond expectations and tightened a lock we were having problems with.

I walked in to get a set of keys copied, they were able to do this in about 3 minutes and without any hassle.

11:45am Mike shows up, calls me from outside to guide him through which one was broken as it was freezing out there. 20 minutes later, the doorbell rings, he's finished and hands over the new set of keys. Very friendly guy as well.

I called around 9am and was able to come out that day. He was 40 minutes late for appointment. He was very friendly, took off wet shoes and provided business card for future reference. He was not able to provide receipt at time of repair but promised to send via mail as soon as possible. On the phone, he said service call would be $65 plus any repairs and parts. For 5 minutes of labor (no parts) total bill was $95. In hindsight I should have asked for itemized breakdown and clarification of charges. I was shocked he charged me $95 for a few turns of a screwdriver.

First, the service provider hassled me because the appointment was scheduled at 5:00 which was after his work hours. Yet this is the time the company scheduled for me! I called the guy when I got home 15 minutes early to try and help the guy out. He showed up at 5:30 so not exactly punctual at all. My husband and I were around while the guy was looking at the lock, but not hovering. He started doing some work on the lock but didn't tell us as he started, or what he was doing, or what price it would be. Halfway through my husband went in the kitchen and asked the guy what he was doing and what price. The guy says $200! We got quite upset and I explained how the gentleman who scheduled the appointment told me there would be no service charge and no work would be done without consulting us first. Thankfully, the service guy stopped his work and left and didn't charge us. But very frustrating when you're getting two conflicting messages.

Called on a Tuesday and they were available to replace the deadbolts on Friday of the same week. Chris arrived on time and explained everything he would be doing and the benefits of the new deadbolts. He had to reconstruct a door jam so the project took longer than originally expected but the work had to be done. He completed all the work the same day and was helpful. He left his card in case we had any questions.

Steve saved me from chaos. Hours before leaving on vacation, my front door lock broke. He was the only locksmith willing to help me without charging extra. He was very patient. Since I didn't want to be in this situation again, I had him replace all the Quick Set exterior locks. This company sold me on Medeco locks, they are the best. They are cheaper and stronger than the Schlage locks that I bought 2 years before. My only hesitation with this company is their attention to detail. They replaced the front door lock but didn't notice the knob was in bad shape. Plus, I wish they warned me ahead of time when they replaced my chrome locks with brass.

The work went very smoothly--basically a dream. Within a short time, he repaired a number of locks that had been causing us problems for a while--I feel that our house is much more secure now.

I called and requested an estimate and/or install. Noel showed up on time and gave me a detailed estimate for two solutions. I chose the more expensive of the two options since the lock quality was very important to me. We made plans for him to come back and install the new locks a few days later. Again, Noel arrived on time and worked efficiently and neatly. He walked me through all the work he did and made sure I was comfortable in operating the new locks. I will be making a stop by their retail location this weekend to get a few more key copies made. I will definitely do business with Ashland Lock again!

Made an appointment with Mike K. to stop by on a Saturday morning to assess the overall system. Mike arrived on time and toured the entire building. He pointed out some obvious security issues and made some suggestions. Given the rash of break-in's in the neighborhood, he suggested a Medeco lock, which is one of the hardest (if not the most) locks to crack. Although he offered to provide a written estimate. I didn't want to wait any longer, so I asked if he was able to install on that day. He stopped by later in the afternoon and installed the two deadbolts and a latch guard for added security. The developer of the building installed the cheapest locks that can be bought and the workmanship was less than desirable. Mike was informative and never tried to up-sell. I am pleased with the outcome and feel that I can honestly say I've done my best to protect my house.

I had a very positive experience with this company. I called Ashland Lock in the morning to ask about having a set of locks re-keyed. I was quoted a price of $65 for the service call, $18 for each lock to be re-keyed, and $2 for each copy of the keys. The locksmith was able to come out the same day. He was friendly and efficient. He completed the job quickly and settled the bill on the spot.

Mike arrived on time and changed our locks so that all 3 doors are now keyed the same.

Excellent! We called on Thursday and the locksmith was out on Friday. He was friendly and professional. He arrived at the appointment time and got the job done in about an hour. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and would definitely call Ashland again for other locksmith needs for our building.

Our appointment was for 1pm and Steve called a little after 12 noon to let me know he was on his way. He was very courteous and professional from beginning to end and the job didn't take long.

Great job overall. I called first thing in the morning, and by 11 am the locks were changed. Shaun showed up on time, and in addition to being a nice guy ,he also changed our locks quickly and efficiently.

Terrific service. Anne, the proprietor, could not have been more attentive. Steve, the repairman, was timely and efficient, quickly fixing the problem.

I called on a Monday and set up the appointment for 9:30 on Wednesday. At 9:20 the locksmith called to say he was on his way, he arrived at 9:45 (a little later than I expected). I was late for work, so I paid and asked him to lock up when finished, which he did. Everything was great, except being 15 minutes late, which wasn't so bad.

They were prompt, and came out that day. I thought that prices were quite high, though.

Shawn fixed both of my issues quickly. He was very friendly. He called when he was running late to let me know.

I called Ashland locks to take a look at two locks for broken mailboxes in the hopes that I wouldn't have to replace them. I called on a Tuesday asking them if they could come by on Wednesday and they could and even called me on Wednesday asking if they could come by earlier than asked. Joe from Ashland locks had one of the locks needed but had to go get another and said he'd be back later. He came back not long afterwords and easily finished the work.

Excellent. Fair price and great service and work. Why go elsewhere.
