Service was excellent. The company had to come back to install the automatic door closer but on both days they showed up when they said they would and took extra time to make sure the door closer was adjusted properly.

Shaun came on time. Changed the locks quickly and also offered some great tips on how to secure a door that did not have adequate protection. I will definitely use them again, and I will be sure to request Shaun!

I called to ask about having the work done, and they came out the next day. I worked with Shaun, who was very pleasant. We had originally set the time for 1:30, and he called beforehand to ask if he could come at 2, which actually worked out better for me. He came right at 2 and performed all the work in a quick fashion, and even joked around with my three year old daughter. He gave me some hints on keeping the locks in good working order.

Everyone I talked with at Ashland Lock was professional and attentive to what the situation required. The job was not simple, since the old lock had to be removed and taken to the shop for repair. It is quite old, but the guys at Ashland Lock were able to repair it so it functions again. They also repaired the lock on the storm door. They did a good job of repairing both locks in a timely manner. Although I discovered a problem with the inside lock later in the afternoon after it had been replaced, Sean returned after work that day to fix the problem. I am very happy with their work and will call them again in the future.

Shaun, the locksmith, was prompt, professional, and a delight to deal with. He worked with me not only to maximize the security of the building, but also eased the convenience of use AND had an eye toward keeping my costs down (which I did not expect). While he was at it, he fixed a broken hinge on an unrelated door just because he hated to see it that way.

It was 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon and I had a trunk full of groceries going bad. In spite of offering walk-up service, and me being parked immediately in front of his store, this guy would not walk out the door to even look at my car. In his defense, he did give me a phone number of ''a guy that might do it.''

They were prompt, efficient and very professional. I made the appointment just a few days before and they were able to accommodate me. Excellent work - very pleased with the service.

We had a great experience with Ashland Lock. They were not only professional but also very personable as well. I have to admit I called them thinking that our job might be a bit "goofy", but Shaun was great, answering questions and being honest about our security (we had a recent break in). Will definitely be using them again.

Technician arrived on time and fixed the lock (which had been improperly installed by another contractor) very promptly. He definitely knew his locks and equipment and figured out exactly what had been done wrong. We paid much more for the trip fee ($75) than the repair ($25) on this small job but it was done right and they did come out on a Saturday to fit our schedule. To be fair, this kind of trip fee seems typical for most locksmiths we checked. Would use again for larger jobs because they were prompt, knowledgeable and professional.

Called Ashland Lock and spoke with Paul a day before our closing. They were able to set up an appointment for the next day and provided very specific instructions on exactly what information about the locks, etc, they would need to come on-site prepared. The technician, Steve, was at our condo exactly on time and completed the job efficiently and professionally. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional service! Entire job took several hours and completed beyond my satisfaction. Not the least expensive outfit in town, but worth the little extra for the peace of mind that comes with good security.

Joe was great to work with. He gave me a fair estimate to door the work on my condo building, showed up on time, called ahead to verify the date and time to do the work and finished the actual work within the time promised even though there were some difficulties encountered. All the new hardware worked even better than what we were promised. I'd recommend Joe (Gruber) and Ashland Lock to anyone looking for a quality job at a competitive price.

The service tech, Sean, arrived on time, was courteous, neat and very, very helpful. I was given two sets of keys to the new locks. They're price was also almost 40% less than a couple other companies I contacted. I would definitely use them again.

I CALLED THEM AFTER REGULAR BUSINESS HOURS AND WERE ABLE TO MEET ME AT MY CAR WITHIN 15 MINUTES OF MY CALL. IT TOOK THE LOCKSMITH LESS THEN A MINUTE TO UNLOCK MY CAR DOOR. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM.

THE LOCKSMITH WAS PROMPT AND FRIENDLY. HE DID THE WORK ON BOTH DOORS QUICKLY (ABOUT 1HR) AND EXPLAINED EXACTLY WHAT HAD BEEN DONE. HE ALSO GAVE ME TWO FREE SETS OF KEYS WITH THE WORK.

THE LOCKSMITH THEY SENT OUT TO MY BUILDING WAS VERY NICE, BUT VERY YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED. WE ORIGINALLY AGREED ON A WAY TO FIX-UP THE DOOR, ONLY TO LATER FIND OUT THE LOCKSMITH COULDN'T GET THE NEW LOCK TO FIT. EVENTUALLY HE RIGGED UP SOMETHING AT THE AGREED UPON PRICE, BUT IT WASN'T AS SECURE AS I WANTED OR COULD HAVE BEEN.

PROVIDED SAME DAY SERVICE ON A SATURDAY MORNING. THE LOCKSMITH WAS FRIENDLY AND POLITE.

THEY'RE ALWAYS POLITE WHEN I CALL, BUT IT'S FRUSTRATING THAT I HAVE A BROKEN DOOR AND UNHAPPY TENANTS AND I CAN'T SEEM TO GET A RESPONSE FROM ASHLAND LOCK.

SEAN GAVE ME AN ACCURATE QUOTE OVER THE PHONE, CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, WAS FAST, AND EFFICIENT. CAME WITHIN A COUPLE OF HOURS OF MY CALL ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

DEALT WITH ART. HE WAS GREAT. THE PROJECT WAS A HARDER THAN WHAT YOU'D NORMALLY THINK, BUT HE DID A REALLY NICE JOB. PLUS, HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE.

ART WAS GREAT. WE HAVE A VERY OLD DOOR AND HE INSTALLED A NEW DEADBOLT AND KNOB, INSTALLING WOOD INTO THE DOOR TO STRENGTHEN THE DOOR, WELL BEYOND THE SCOPE OF THE JOB HE WAS HIRED FOR. HE DID IT ALL FOR THE INITIAL QUOTED PRICE, WAS POLITE, CURTEOUS, PUNCTUAL, AND SENSITIVE TO MY CRAZY SCHEDULE.
