Tracey was so respectful of me and my things at every step in the process. As things were sorted into groups, it became clear that she had a system. Thank goodness because this room has been my nemesis for years. As the day went on, each group became a separate "work environment" to be tackled. I couldn't believe how much was accomplished by the end of the day. Most of the room is done, but she is coming back to finish once the weather is better?my choice?because she has a long way to drive. I can't say enough wonderful things about Tracey and Amber's Organizing. Tracey is so professional, and she represents an incredibly professional organization that is respectful of their clients. Tracey was not only punctual and respectful but also kind and very focused. Also, I don't think I have ever seen anyone work as hard as she did that day. Additionally, she knew answers to all of my questions and had great organizational ideas to help me work on the room before she can come back.
Description of Work: I desperately needed help with a spare room that had become a "catch-all" over the past several years. My goal was to get through most of the clutter in the room in one day and then make a plan to organize the room going forward. Tracey, the professional organizer from Amber's Organizing, arrived promptly at 9:30. She was amazing! She began by assessing the room and then asked me what my goals for the room were and what my goals for the day were. The rest of the day, Tracey spent moving things (some very heavy) in and out of the room so that I could let her know if the items would stay or not. We worked non-stop for nine hours, with Tracey organizing those items that were staying into various groups or bringing me paper work to sort through for shredding or for trash. By the end of the day, we both had a good idea of what was necessary to complete the job on the next visit. Before she left, she made sure my house was back to normal, though, with everything returned to the spare room for the next visit.

Amber helped me organize a room shared by 3 of my children, ages 4, 6, and 7. There were several seasons/sizes of clothes that had built up in the closet and their drawers, as well as a bunch of other random stuff in the room. Before she arrived I looked at the room and thought it was unlikely that we'd get through it all in 3 hours. Not only did we accomplish everything I'd hoped for in that room, but we were able to go into my 2-year-old's room as well, working through clothes and cleaning out his closet! On top of that she explained a very simple system for me to manage their clothes on an ongoing basis so I don't end up backlogged again! Amber was incredibly efficient, positive, and non-judgmental. I was nervous about bringing a stranger into the most embarrassing areas of my home, and my husband was skeptical about paying someone to come in and help us do what we could (theoretically) do ourselves. In the end we were both very happy with the experience and the investment. I have no doubt it would've taken me 3 times as long to accomplish as much by myself and I wouldn't have had the ongoing solutions Amber offered. Highly, highly recommended!!

They were self starters and energetic. They seemed to really like what they were doing, and they weren't chit chatty. They showed me things that I did not really need which was very helpful. After the job was done she emailed me to see if I would like more work done in the future. I thought the kitchen was perfect but I was unaware of the cost until the day before, I felt it was a little high. This is clearly what they do best and it showed.

Amber and her team were wonderful. They were prompt, efficient and professional. This was the best investment I made. I would still be unpacking boxes two months later - they did it all in about 4 hours. It saved me so much time and wear/tear on my already bad back. I would definitely recommend Amber's Organizing.

Amber listened carefully to my priorities, explained her process and got down to business. My kitchen was what I wanted to focus on first. She pulled everything out of my cabinets and quickly assessed what items were in the wrong vs. right place. She made sound judgements about my family's lifestyle and made recommendations accordingly. Then she moved on to the drawers and walk-in pantry. I didn't think we'd have time for 3 more closets, but she kicked in to high gear and got it all done. Three days later and I'm thrilled with my new system. She and I accomplished in 3.25 hours what would have taken me 4 times as long by myself (at least). The thing that I appreciated the most was that she clearly understands that time is money and doesn't waste any. She even took away my unwanted items to drop at Good Will! And she helped me make a shopping list of items I might need. It was definitely a luxury to spend money on an organizer, but worth every penny. I would highly recommend her service and will definitely be using her company again soon!

My basement was out of control after moving to our house three years ago..there were SOO many boxes of just "stuff". I was completely overwhelmed every time I went down there, that we just eventually avoided our basement like the plague. I had no idea how to even start the organizing down there. There was a mish mosh of baby items, adult clothes, wedding gifts, office supplies, etc...Amber came down, took one look at it all, and dove in. She was great! She helped me figure out what to donate, what to sell, and where to put the rest so that it makes sense. The toys are now organized and all have a home. Amber was beyond amazing and there is no way I could have done any of it without her. Hire her, you will not be disappointed!! She is worth every penny..Thank you Amber!

We needed to get our children's rooms organized before the arrival of our next child. Our child arrived sooner than expected and I had to take care of the rooms without my wife. Amber was able to come out the same week we called. She worked extremely fast and efficiently to the point that I was running out of things for her to organize. Everything worked out great. I have an injury and have not been able to unpack from my recent move into a new home. I thought her work was outstanding. I will use them again. She was careful with expensive items, including antiques. She was especially careful not to throw away memorabila in the form of old books/ newsclippings etc. The communication and execution was flawless. She and team were completely professional and worked efficiently. She revamped my basement storage room in a matter of a few hours. It was a complete mess...and now it is competely organized and neat! It was a big, messy job...and she and 2 other people tackled it in 1 day. I plan to work with her again and again as needed. The organizing session went very well. She was on-time and ready to get started right away. She had very good ideas about what should be done in the space, taking into account how I actually used the space and if I could realistically maintain the new order. I didn't realize how hands-on she would be - it wasn't just ideas, she did alot of work! One of the best things about Amber is that she didn't seem judgemental at all about how disorganized and messy things were; she was just focused on how to make it better. In the end, the space was re-organized for less clutter and better efficiency. She provided me with a list of tools to buy to free up much needed space (rack for holding foil and wraps, container for neatly storing plastic bags, ideas for organizing my recipes that were all dumped in a drawer, etc.). She even took out the items we wanted sent to Goodwill ! I will definitley be using Amber's Organizing again soon.
Description of Work: I called Amber to assist me with organizing specific areas of my home, originally to get my home ready to be put on the market. She offers two types of services - review / assessment with a punch list for the client to do on their own or hands-on organization ideas and assistance. I utilized her for the latter. Amber is amazing to work with. I was very nervous about this process and overwhelmed about how much we had to do after putting my organizing and sorting off for many years. I had something to do in every room of the house. She was wonderful on the phone in my initial interviews, providing lots of information. Her website is wonderful, too. We agreed ahead of time on a time frame, the rate - she was very clear about everything. She was punctual and showed up ready to work really hard. I have never seen someone work so hard and well! Her work ethic is exemplary and she has wonderful ideas about how to organize things. She really carried me through the process - at times I would be overwhelmed by it - but she just took it one thing at a time, in keeping with an overall plan or end goal. I've been amazing at what we've gotten through in our time together. She also followed up with a plan for things for us to buy for the spaces - she did the measuring, sent me links on the computer and told me exactly what to get, so that what we have in the space can now stay organized. I am living in a different home these days, it seems, with the work we've done. It has been such a blessing, money very, very well spent. I give her my very highest recommendation!

It was a major undertaking to have the maintenance work accomplished. The ceiling is 20 ft. high and required some professional help. After emptying the room and then cleaning it up I was anxious to make a few changes in the new arrangement. Amber managed to help me do just that. We worked together on 2 separate days...saving me much more time than that if I was working by myself. It was a pleasure to tackle this project with Amber. She arrived when she said she would and I held up my part of the bargain. It turned out to be a serious effort that gave me so much relief. Now I can get back to doing my life, oil painting.

Amber was prompt in returning my calls and punctual showing up when we scheduled. During the appointment she was incredibly professional, friendly, and polite. I had to take some calls for work during the middle of the job and she had no problem continuing on unsupervised. I was amazed at how much she was able to do with little help from me in so little time (what I had expected would take 6+ hours took less than 3). The only negative (though completely understandable from a owner operated business standpoint) were that her operating hours did not include weekends, so I had to take a day off work for the visit. That said, I am 100% satisfied with the results and think the day off was well worth it. I will not hesitate to use Amber's services again.

Amber was fantastic. She assessed my situation on the phone and went over exactly what we were going to do. It's a little hard to get rid of your things, so having someone non-judgmental help you go through your stuff and be supportive of things you want to keep was really great. I needed the help and we did an awesome job together. I was able to rid my office of clutter to make it a real home office again and everything is put away in a nice little spot. A place for everything, and everything in it's place. She even helped me organize my pen and pencils! I am so happy that my office no longer looks like a dumping ground. Amber, thank you so much!

Each time she came, Amber was on time and ready to start working. After a brief review of what I had and what my goals were, we started to work together. Working with Amber was fun and productive. She helped me to sort through all my stuff, organize it into categories and figure out how to store it. I can now find what I need, so when I have time to do some art work, I can do it instead of spending all my time trying to find what I want to use. She also took away the things I no longer needed and donated them to charity. I also felt like she really paid attention to what I wanted and what would work for me when we were organizing.
