Description of Work: Inspected the fireplace and chimney. They discovered and documented with photos several problems with our fireplace and chimney. They returned later and performed all the repairs. The chimney looks and functions much better. The Workmen were great, explaining everything that they did. We are very happy with their work.

Also helped me to know how to properly use the gas with wood. |I appreciate the care they took to not track any dirt in the house and keep the area free of debris. Very happy with the service call.

Description of Work: Great performance of the chimney sweep and cost of $99.. |Did not feel comfortable with a list of a lot of upcharges that I supposedly needed. an additional $1800. I selected not to do the upcharge items

Description of Work: They seemed to do a good job. I just wish they would stop calling me to tell me they haven't been here in a couple of years and can they do the work again.

Description of Work: Showed up on time I was told was able to work on any fireplaces but this was not my case unable to work on mine they got there money for looking atthe fireplace said would call the the company who made the fireplace and that took over a week I called 3 times ti find out what to do they bad about keeping there promise in calling back.they finally said unable to work on my fireplace, but did find accompany who could so that was great I call them cozy corner and within a week they looked at the fireplace said they could fix it was a bad panel also they said who ever looked at this fireplace took all the wires out and did not put them back so this tech put the back for me. | |

Description of Work: The date of service was Oct 14, 2015 and the cost of service was $2,000.

Description of Work: A-1 performed a safety inspection and determined the flue did not open completely, that the cement base of the chimney was cracked, that some mortar was missing between some bricks, and that the sealant around the flashing was cracked in some areas. |They removed the flue and added a LOCK-TOP fireplace damper; put CROWN Coat over the chimney crown, added a terpolymer sealant grout where mortar was missing; applied CHIMNEYSAVER clear solution to the brick on the entire chimney, and sealed the flashing. Work done was good but a bit expensive in my opinion. I did not compare their prices with any other company. The price paid included the $109 prepaid special inspection fee as well as a $229.00 10% discount for being an Angie's list customer.

Description of Work: A-1 came out for a chimney sweep I purchased from an Angie's Deal. They showed up on time and told me what needed to be done in order to get my chimney in working order! They were able to fix it in about an hour and we've had fires almost every night since! Great value for great work! Thanks guys!
