Description of Work: I needed tuck-pointing on my chimney and on the bricks by my front steps. They did both jobs over a single day, matching the bricks perfectly on the front porch. They plan to come back when the mortar cures to apply some dye to match the color of the older mortar. Bill was very competent, helpful, and informative throughout the process.

Description of Work: Cleaned chimney from top to bottom. Took picture of dryer vent WOW!!! I had them clean that also. And lastly I could see that I needed a new outside cap on the top of the chimney and bought that . Now I feel safe to use not only my fireplace but my dryer also. Will and Mike were extremely polite and careful. Excellent servicemen!

Description of Work: Cleaned chimney, which hadn't been done in a number of years. I purchsed a deal on Angies list and think it was an excellent value. I was happy with the service and the 2 workers. My only concern was at the very end. They told me that a couple of issues needed attention and encouraged me to set up follow up appointments very soon . One of the things that was supposedly crucial was that I clean the dryer vents to prevent a house fire. The guy showed me a photo of an almost clogged vent and said the service would be something like $150-200 (I can't remember the amount, but it was quite a bit.) I declined, because I had done this before and knew it wasnt hard. It took me 15 minutes with a Shop Vac to take care of it. It seemed to me, though, that very little lint was acutally in the vent. So I can't help but wonder if the photo was of my vent or somebody else's... I can't say either way.

Description of Work: They cleaned the flue and replaced the chimney cap that had holes in it and found last year during the cleaning. One issue I have is they didn't have the previous years report in our file and we had to provide it to them. The other is they have called me 2-3 times since the cleaning to see if I want some of the other services that they recommend done and I've told them each time that we are going to get them at the next cleaning.
