I originally took bids from 4 companies to install trim wrap only, then also asked for full residing & trim quotes. Two outfits did not inspire confidence with regard to follow-through and expertise. US Exterior by Seidel and one other were impressive in explaining their materials and methods, and US Exterior offered the slightly lower bid. (I'll admit to some sticker shock as the cost of the project became evident.) Udo Seidel met with us several times in the planning process to choose materials, etc. (We opted for the upgraded insulation board to go under the siding.) I was extremely impressed by the workmanship and attention to detail by the installers (Tony & Robert). They worked long, full days during some of our hotter summer weeks, and were very responsive to questions and requests throughout. (As I'm retired, I was able to watch the process progress day-by-day.) The final product really does look nice.

He was the top one out of five or six companies. He's very detailed. the price was pretty good compared to others. The companies that were lower have a different idea.

Udo of US Exterior by Seidel came out to my house on time when he said. He was 1 of 3 companies I called. There were a few holes in the roof near the gutter. He took materials from his truck and patched the holes right then and there before I got an estimate or even hired him. I offered him money and he refused saying people need to help people. Rare in this day and age. Another roofer showed up a day late and I canceled the 3rd. I knew if the estimate was close I was going to use Udo's company. His workers were there within days of me aquiring my financing to do the roof and the gutter crew the next day. I can't say enough about this company. Just hire them. He is professional and has integrity. My quote included a copy of insurance, everything that was and not included, a long list of refrence houses and samples of the roofing material. Emails were answered the same day. He deserves an A+

We were comparing vinyl and James Hardie siding at first and later added cedar to the mix. U.S. Exterior by Seidel provide estimates for the vinyl and Jams Hardie which were in the mid-range of quotes, response time was good, very professional and nice to work with. Had we stuck with one of those sidings U.S. Exterior was our choice. We later decided to add cedar to the list. Although U.S. Exterior provided us a quote for this, they were priced much higher than other vendors and didn't seem a responsive to this type of work. Also, didn't see much mention of cedar on their website so thought it might not be their strong side. We selected a vendor that was recommended by someone else that had used another company with good results.

U.S. Exterior by Siedel under the leadership of Udo Siedel is one of the best service companies I have ever come across! Udo is an excellent business owner and is extremely knowledgeable about his industry. From the very beginning he was punctual, cordial, professional and provided us with a step by step analysis of what needed to be done to successfully repair our roof and gutters, with clarity, honesty and high integrity. His work is impeccable, his team responsible, fast, knowledgeable and professional, and the communication throughout the engagement was superior. We researched various companies around and while there are very good roofing business to choose from, U.S. Exterior and Udo are simply the best roofing company in all aspects, period! I would strongly recommend U.S. Exterior by Siedel to anyone. 5++++ stars!!

Seidel provided a competitive bid to replace the roof and gutters. We had some specific questions with respect to the work. Udo responded to our questions pretty quickly and thoroughly. One question we had in particular was how Seidel would deal with the existing skylight. Udo was quite specific in his response: "on the skylights there is a factory step flashing that is very high quality aluminum with a baked on enamel finish and i can assure it will not have to be replaced. our procedure around the skylight is as follows. remove skylight frame and step flashing wrap skylight with ice/water shield. re install step flashing over ice/water shield. install skylight frame over ice/water shield and step flashing. this will give you a permanent seal. " Based on the competitive bid, the thorough response, and the good reviews, we decided to go with Udo and Seidel. Seidel completed the work in Fall 2013 according to the contract specifications. We have for the most part been happy with the outcome in terms of both the aesthetics of the roof, as well as its function. However, several weeks ago (March 2017), my wife noticed serious leaks from the skylight in our kitchen ceiling. The leaks were serious enough to cause water damage to our kitchen floor. When she called Seidel, the person who answered the phone advised there was no way the roof could be the problem, and refused to even take a look at the situation. When my wife asked about tarping the roof until the leak could be repaired, he advised Seidel would charge $400 to tarp the roof. That weekend, I left a message for Udo asking him to call me back to discuss looking at the leak to determine the root cause. I never heard anything from Udo or Siedel. We have since sought bids from other contractors to repair the leak. My complaint has more to do with Seidel's complete lack of responsiveness to this most recent situation, rather than to their workmanship in replacing the roof in 2013. I did not initially place the call expecting Seidel to do anything other than inspect the situation, and advise what steps to take to resolve it - whether it had to do with Seidel repairing any problems with the roof, or replacing the skylight. Unfortunately, Seidel did not even bother to check. Given their lack of responsiveness, I do not foresee using them or recommending them in the future as a result of this experience.

I'm very happy with the work performed. The estimate process with Udo was responsive and very informative. The work was scheduled and completed on time. His workers were courteous and worked full days. The materials, quality of installation, and warranty are all excellent. I highly recommend U.S Exterior and would definitely hire them again.

Very well. Mr Udo and his team are excellent to get your work done. The 2 individuals who performed the work were good guys. They would show up on time and work all day. They did not cut corners, took their time and completed the job to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this company. Mr Udo addressed all my concerns and completed the project.

US Exteriors did a fantastic job on my house. Our house was built in 1969 and had original windows, siding...etc. The previous owner never took care of the outside of the house and it showed in it's poor condition. I got quotes from several companies. Udo from US Exteriors was by far the most knowledgable about our area and the work that needed to be done. He had worked into the quote all the rotted wood that would need to be replaced. All the other companies wanted to charge extra for materials and labor for all wood that needed to be replaced. The bid was not the cheapest or the most expensive but the most comprehensive and complete then all other companies I spoke with. There was no hard selling, just a pleasure to do business with. The finished house looks amazing! Nothing like it did before. We were once probably the worst house on the block and now probably the best! Neighbors stlll keep complimenting how great it looks. During the work a couple of unforseen things came up with the condition of our house. Not a surprise to us at all however, Udo called right away explained the issue and gave us the option to fix and the cost of it. They were a great company to work with and I will definitely be referring people to them. Thanks Udo and your whole crew!

Workers addressed and took care of all my concerns while doing a fantastic job. It's been two months and the windows are holding up nicely. When on day 1 we saw some issues with a screen, they had a free replacement out to me within 3 days. Great work!

When my husband and I bought this house two years ago, we knew we would need to have some things done. My siding was peeling as it had been painted, the trim was a mess, and the gutters did not function properly causing water to stream in the windows on my porch and into the porch wall. I had US Exterior replace all nine windows on my back porch. When the crew came to do the work, they found that the south porch wall was completely rotted out. The crew worked ALL day in 90 degree weather rebuilding the wall, installing the windows, and putting in new doors. I was so impressed with the window and door crew from the moment they came on site. The foreman of the job even went with me to the store to get a different screen door for the porch because the one I had picked out was not going to work well. When I got home from an appointment and saw the transformation, I was amazed! A few weeks later, the siding crew showed up. I was equally impressed with the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail exhibited by the men who put up the siding. There are a lot of corners different sized walls in my house, and they navigated them beautifully. Finally, the gutters were redesigned and replaced. No longer do I have issues with water streaming down the side of my house-I check with every rain storm. Udo Seidel, the owner, is extremely responsive and helpful. He answered all my questions. He was personally involved in all my projects, and made sure the job was done right and in a timely manner. U.S. Exterior by Seidel is a family business, and you can tell. The rapport between crew members and respect for the work being done was apparent every step of the way. Thank you! Thank you! My house feels like it is brand new!

I don't know if I can express how happy I am with the work that has been done on my house. When the windows on my porch were to be replaced, we found that one of the walls on the porch was completely rotted out. The crew rebuilt the wall and installed the windows all in one day. When I came home from a meeting, I was blown away by the work that had been done! I was equally as impressed by the work on the siding and the gutters. The siding is mounted evenly and seamlessly. I had been having issues with my gutters not working properly, but US Exterior reconfigured them and now they work perfectly. Everything that I had questions about or was not completely satisfied with was fixed. I would absolutely recommend Us Exterior to anyone who is looking for a company who stands by their work and who is willing to take no less than 100% satisfaction from their costumers. My house is like a new house, yours could be too.
