Everything went smoothly. Michael Moore was very responsive to the various questions and issues brought to him by the condo owners. Luis (the foreman) did a great job of keeping us informed of the process. They agreed to lower 2 canopies that were in the way of the soffit and fascia replacement, and even climbed up on the roof to find kitchen vents that one of the owners claimed was being blocked by the new soffit. Michael and his team went beyond the call to make sure that everyone was satisfied with the job. They are the best!!!!

I live in a jumbo Georgian built in the 1930's that has the original inlaid gutters. The gutters were in disarray and leaking and some parts of the wooden soffit & fascia were rotting due to neglect from the previous owner. I had called numerous contractors in to get their opinion and to quote on the job but the majority wouldn't quote it due to it being inlaid gutters. Some suggested taking the wooden crown off and just putting a new aluminum gutter on. My wife and I wanted to keep the same look of the house. Moore Construction suggested if that is the route that I was going to go, they can reline the gutters, reinforce the seams, add gutter guards, and replace the rotten wood and fascia. This was not only what I was looking for but also much more cost competitive to the other options that were presented by others. Michael Moore (owner) was great to work with and was patient with me as we worked through all the questions that I had. The crew did a great job and I am pleased with the work. There was a section that needed a little touching up and they were back the same week to address the issue. This was not an easy job to tackle and I would have no trouble recommending Moore Construction.

Moore replied promptly with a date for an estimate, which turned out to be further in the future than we wished. They were responsive to our inquires, however we went with another provider prior to their estimate date. I put an incorrect review on Angie's List initially - it was meant for another provider. Sorry Moore! You were one of the more responsive companies we dealt with! Thanks for letting us know about the error!

Everything went as promised. Nice work.

The job was delayed because of frequent snow over the winter months. I was impressed with the euipment (especially the safety harnesses) and number of workmen on the job. A magnetic sweeper was used to retrieve loose nails around the perimeter of the house. and debris was removed from the job site. The gutters and roof look good. The roof over the breakfast room had been replaced in June 2011by Tuff Shield roofing company. . As the ice melted this year, a leak in the roofing was revealed. If the roofing by Moore had been done earlier. I would not have known that the roof over the breakfast room needed to be replaced. It turned out to be a good thing for me the work was delayed.

They were outstanding. The owner is heavily involved with quoting and following through.

They were able to come out during rain and complete the work. Everything is working as it should after their visit. They were timely, worked quickly and did a good job.

They were fantastic! I was between them and another provider that I had seen all A marks on Angie's List and this provider was good and they came in. I think somewhere they were about 60% of the other provider. While they were both good, with construction I felt they were really attentive to answering questions. I have read a bunch of articles on gutters and downspouts and they seemed to be very knowledgeable and the pricing was great. I was very confident that they were coming out when they said they were coming out. I was kind of in a rush because I had stucco, brick and mortar work done and I was concerned because they had to take off some gutters and downspouts. I was concerned that whoever I hired I wanted to be out pretty quickly because I didn't want it in the fall or rainy season because there'll be rain falling off the roof and seeping into my basement. I wanted to make sure that whoever is coming out is actually going to show up. I was very confident that they were going to. The company was great, the staff was great, and how they corresponded by email. They were good to work with and transmitted electronically. There were a couple of things that I may have needed on their bid and they gave me a price for those. It turned out I didn't need most things. The one thing I did need only cost about $80. I just felt that from all aspects, they really could have jacked up the price and taken advantage of me but they were fair, prompt, and courteous. I would use them in a heartbeat. In fact, I recommended them to several friends already.

Everything went well. I was pleased with the work they did. Michael Moore was very accommodating and clear in his description of what would be done. They supplied a certificate of liability insurance so I felt confident in having them do the job. They came when they said they would.

Working with Moore Construction was super easy. Michael (owner) and Joan (office manager) responded quickly to all my questions, starting with my request for an estimate and continuing all the way through the entire installation process. Michael sent a crew out a month before the work officially began in order to patch/seal a small leak that had appeared. This got us through the month without additional leaks, and I appreciated the effort to put in a temporary fix to stave off further damage caused by the elements. The crew arrived on time (if not early) to begin their days, and were very courteous and professional. They always made sure to greet us upon arrival and departure, giving updates on how the progress was coming along and what we should expect the next day. They cleaned up the site before the close of every day (picked up debris, covered uninstalled shingles, etc) and took great care in making sure the neighboring properties were respected/protected at all times. Michael called or dropped by each day the work was being done just to check in and answer any questions we had. As far as the finished product, it looks great. Of course I will need to wait and see how it handles the rain and snow but at this point am confident that the workmanship is on par with the rest of the experience. I am quite sure that if I have any issues at all that Michael will be as responsive in that situation as he has been so far. Moore Construction is a good solid company. I would definitely use them again.

Michael was always punctual and professional. He is easily reached by email or by phone and provided a reasonable, but not the cheapest, estimate. However, the work was started and completed on time, his crew cleaned up well, and the gutters are working well! Could not be happier with Moore Construction.

I called late and left a message inquiring about having a vent installed in my roof. The very next day there was a message on my phone from Joann letting me know that the company only installs vents as part of a roof installation and if I had anymore questions to feel free to call her. I very much appreciated the call back as I had called another company and didn't receive the same courtesy.

This is just an outstanding little company that really can! I strongly recommend them. In late May of this year, Mr. Michael J. Moore, the owner, initially came out to assess the job and prepare a proposal. He was thoroughly professional and responsive throughout the process. Mr. Moore has an 'inside' assistant, Joan (pronounced Joanne), who was terrific in taking care of all of the details associated with the proposal, scheduling, selecting gutter paint color, invoicing, etc. Mr. Moore sent out a crew headed up by a foreman, Luis, who was very personable and also very professional. Most of the job, however, was carried out by an actual work crew of 2 or 3 men, depending. Because of some inclement weather (rain), our job ran to 2 days. The crew were crackerjack: They showed up early, worked hard, steadily, and long; they were respectful of the fact that this was our home; and they were easy to interact with. Everything went smoothly and according to plan. Where possible, the crew was creative in solving some small problems that came up in the course of completing the job. Proof of the pudding: Casual inspection (I am not experienced or trained in this area of construction) of the completed work showed evidence of careful, master-level skills proficiency in the execution of a thoughtful and aesthetic plan, using the high quality materials specified in the proposal . Price: In contracting for this total gutter job, I gathered bid from 4 or 5 other vendors on Angie's List. This job was not "cheap" but was fairly bid and was highly competitive in terms of price point. Given the extent of the job, the materials used and the level of service provided, I believe that it was a reasonable price. One small issue: In their need to gain access to a corner of our home that is dense with shrubby trees, the crew both bent back and hacked away at some branches in a heedless fashion inconsistent with the great care that we show our trees. We understood that they needed to make room to accomplish their work but it would have been proper to consult before attacking our trees as they did.

They responded to my initial inquiry and provided an estimate in a timely manner. They were neither the lowest or the highest but seemed the most credible and likely to perform the work for the quoted amount (which they did). They were very busy at the time but came out and performed the work when estimated and no one needed to be home, which was great. The work looks fantastic, I would recommend them highly and won't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Michael came out and reviewed the project gave me an estimate. There was also a spot in our bedroom that had just started seeping when torrential rains came. The crew arrived on time and completed the work that day as promised. They did check the roof for seepage and did a quick repair. They were courteous and when they left you would never know workman had been in my yard that day. I just received the bill and it was for the exact amount of the quote.

Micheal did a great job. He came up with ways to keep our cost down and yet do the job correctly.

The work was done almost a year ago. Last year was very dry so I waited until this year (and rain) to properly comment on Moore Constructions workmanship. I reviewed 2 other highly rated Angie's List contractors before choosing Moore. One other contractor matched Moore's proposal item for item; except Moore's quote was $1100.00 less. I choose Moore and am very glad I did. Michael Moore showed up that morning (9/11/2012) with his crew. He went over the contract with me and crew leader. Crew leader answered any questions I had during installation process. Michael Moore also checked in during the day to see how the job was progressing. Installation was done entirely that day. Clean up of job site very satisfactory. Some additional comments: *The competition was going to install the gutter hangers every 18", Moore was going to install every 24". I asked Michael if he could install the hangers at the 18" spacing and what would the charge be for the extra hangers? Michael said he would install the hangers at my requested 18" spacing at no extra charge to the original proposal. Gutters installed very solidly. *I requested oversized downspouts all around the house to improve water flow and prevent clogging. This was done.Water flow fine. Clogging eliminated. *In heavy rains we wind up with a lot of standing water in our back yard as our neighbors homes are higher in elevation . I asked Michael to pitch the first floor SW side gutter to the first floor NW side downspout so the water flow would discharge in front yard instead. He did so. Rain flow and discharge to front of house working fine thus alleviating excess water in backyard.. I only mentioned these items to show that Michael Moore worked with me to solve any drainage concerns I had around my home before I chose them. This isn't a company that just installs the materials, collects their check and leaves. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their gutters/downspouts.

They were professional and hardworking. They seemed to correct any errors that were pointed out.

My experience with Moore construction company and Michael in particular was exceptional. I chose Moore Construction primarily because of reviews he'd received and the proximity to my home. I made a good chose. Michael was prompt, a man of his word, consistent and reliable. On the initial visit Michael wasn't able to make a fair assessment of what needed to be done. This is a common occurrence when other unit owners are involved. However, Michael wasn't deterred. He asked that I give him a chance to think about an alternate approach and that he would be back. And true to his word he came back - used a different approach - and accomplished the task at hand. Considering the obstacles he had to navigate I was extremely appreciative of the efforts he made on my behalf. Additionally, the employees are friendly and informative. They also take time to listen and are adept at capturing dialogue accurately and forwarding it to Michael. This proved to be helpful in my case because I can not, as of yet, provide Michael with and exact start date. My experience has been that the individual(s) who answers the phones represent his company very well. The level of professional of the front office proved to be outstanding. As of today I am still working on association issues and protocol, but once the red tape has cleared, I will definitely utilize the services of Michael and Moore Construction.

They were professional. I didn't complete the service yet. I'm still kind of deciding. He came on time. He was very nice. He got the quote to me in a timely fashion and once I received the quote in the mail I got an email copy of the quote and I also received a mail that was very professional and well done.

Punctual, hardworking, left job site spotless every day of the 5 day process. Adapted to last minute changes. The crew was courteous, pleasant to have around -- they literally sang while they worked. It was a lot of work, and I feared it would be an awful project, but it was extremely smooth, and effortless on our part. Michael was my first estimate, and I had a good feeling about him immediately. He was receptive to changes and questions, where some of the other companies were not. I would not hesitate to recommend Moore Construction.

The crew showed up early that morning cut and installed gutters on our home,they did a good job cleaning up after they finished the job.

I cannot say enough good things about Moore Construction. They were incredibly responsive from my first call and Mike, the owner, came out to my house a few days later. He took a look at my roof, explained to me what was wrong and my options for fixing it. Most impressive, (unlike other contractors) he explained that I could repair the problem without a tear off (just yet at least). In other words, Mike voluntarily passed up the opportunity to sell me a much bigger, more costly (and no doubt lucrative) job. From there, everything went smoothly. The workers were at my house as scheduled, did not leave a trace of debris, and the folks at Moore were extremely proactive about communicating with me about scheduling, scope of work, etc. Joanne, the Office Manager, deserves a shout out for being great. In short, I've dealt with dozens of contractors on just about every possible issue, and my experience with Moore, from beginning to end, was the best experience I've had. I don't look forward to the day when I have to put on a new roof, but I don't dread it nearly as much knowing that I know who I'll call to do it. Trust me - Moore Construction are the folks you want.
