Description of Work: Follow-up to set appointment date was good. The service man called to notify of his arrival and was punctual. Very mannerly gentleman. Service was priced higher that some used in the past but felt the special deal price and its inclusions was worth trying. Found instead that the spray application was hit and miss. No spraying under work benches or in window areas where spiders love to spin webs. No ceiling tiles in basement were removed to spray foundation plate which has always been done in the past. Very incomplete termite inspection, especially in basement area where exterior porch slab attaches to front of house. This area has always been part of past inspections. Neither was I pleased with such a short guarantee, which indicated to me that the product used was not very effective.

Customer, My records show that we tried to contact you several times since you purchased your deal. On 10/6/12 we sent the initial email that explains the deal in more detail. We made 3 phone calls to the phone number provided through Angie's List. These calls were made on 12/18/12, 2/09/13, and 2/19/13. We had no other means of contacting you, other than the information provided through Angie's List. Please check your contact info at Angie's List as I believe that you may have an incorrect phone number. Also we do request that customers try to resolve their issues with the office before leaving a negative review. Please contact us as your voucher is still waiting for you.

Description of Work: The technician was punctual. He informed me that he would be doing an inspection for spiders, ants, termites and mice. I belive he attempted to inspect for termites but nothing else. It was obvious that I had children in the house but he was spraying in areas where there were toys. He put some traps out for mice and informed me that he would return in 2 weeks to check them and provide me with an warranty for 6 months. I received a call from this company regarding a second inspection. I returned the call and a young man who was rude answered the phone, I explained the reason for my call. He told me the technician had made a mistake the second inspection would cost me $55 and I would receive a warranty for 3 months for mice. I declined the service. It proved not to be a good deal for me.

I apologize if you were not happy with the service. All Big Deal purchasers receive an email describing the details of the service including the cost of the follow up for mice and the warranty information. I have attached the email below. Our technician would have been inspecting for mice, spiders, and other insects while he is doing the treatment. In most cases if we have a compliant like this it is because the customer mis-understood the terms of the agreement. If you are still not happy with the service, feel free to give us a call and we will try to resolve your issue. The email is attached below: Hello, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing our Angie's List Big Deal. With this special it includes a general pest control spray which comes with a two month warranty and covers basic crawling insects such as ants, spiders, crickets, millipedes, centipedes, silverfish, and water bugs. We offer at the end of every general pest control spray warranty if you would like another spray we offer quarterly sprays for 50.00 dollars and they come with a three month warranty. We do not have contracts its something we offer if you would like to continue your protection when your warranty expires. With this special we also provide a first mice service. We will inspect your home to see if there are any access points a mouse can gain entrance into your house and we will foam or caulk those areas. We will place small black bait stations strategically throughout your home where we see evidence of rodent activity. In order to receive a warranty for mice a second service is required 2-3 weeks later which we will call you to remind you of that service. The second mice service is 55.00 dollars and then you receive a three month warranty. You do not have to do the second mice service but that is the only way you will receive a warranty for mice.
