Description of Work: USE the storage facility...DO NOT use the "recommended movers" called USA Moving and Storage. They did not show up with 4 guys as was promised, only 3 (its scratched out on the receipt) & they spoke little english and did not understand very well what was to be moved or where the facility was... the owner said they would know how to get into and out of the facility, understood their way around, etc. THEY HAD NO CLUE! I had to give them directions to the place and lead them to the unit after they got lost in the facility, explain how to find their way around. I had the feeling they were day laborers that were picked up that very morning and instructed to take as much time as possible. I had to pay cash on the spot for a two hour move- total was 430.00 A RIP OFF! DO NOT USE the MOVERS!!!! The name of the movers is USA moving and Storage Life Storage will try to tell you that "oh yeah they come here all the time and they know there way around here, all you have to do is give them the keys". DON'T DO IT! get another moving company

Description of Work: Got first month free. Unbelievably clean facilities and professional staff. Big surprise. Used to have a storage unit at a competitor and it was a scary place and I could never find anyone when I had a question.

Description of Work: This is an update to my earlier report. I would not recommend this storage facility under any circumstances. In my opinion, they have questionable business practices at best. Do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere. This facility is under new management and I would not recommend Life Storage Center, Morton Grove under any scenario. Despite using this facility for years and paying thousands of dollars annually in storage fees, under new management, they did not use the autopay feature and then assessed late fees. Payments were automatically made for years without issue under the previous management team. Desite repeated attempts to get them to simply reserse the late fees; they engaged in stall tactics and the complete round around. I strongly beleive they engage in these business practices to collect late fees and also place storage units at risk. I am pursuing all legal and other administrative remedies. Moreover, I plan to remove all items from this facility at the earliest possible date. It's not the same management team and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone. If they are treating me this way; can you imagine how they treat the average Customer? Note; I have SIX storage units at this facility and have been paying thousands of dollars in storage fees at this facility annually since 2009; 4 plus years. Save your self a massive headache and find another decent storage facility where the customer is treated with respect and fairly and where the management team does not engage in quetionable business practices.
