Great service. Called before their arrival, rooted out 1 drain and cleaned out another. Gave a reasonable estimate for future work, and were honest and said we didn't need a new water heater. Would use again.

Excellent. As always Perfect Home Services was prompt and courteous. The tech took the time to fully explain the problem and present me with an option to repair or replace my furnace. Very comprehensive and professional.

The repairman was out within 24 hours after my call and did a superb job. He was professional, personable, and completed the job in just over an hour after his arrival. He replaced the inner workings of the outside faucet and placed a shutoff in the pipe inside the house. He cleaned up after himself and wore covers over his shoes. Great job!

Late on a Saturday night our kitchen sink backed up. I wasn't sure if I had put too much down the garbage disposal or if my three year old had stuffed something down the drain. I panicked and googled every plumber in our area. I called and left messages with every company requesting an emergency service visit. I had no idea about cost. The first company that called me back offered a free estimate for services and could be at my home within 2 hours. I scheduled to have this service come out. Perfect Home service was the second company to call me back. I explained to the receptionist (Virginia) that I already had a service man coming but thanked her for the prompt call back. She was very polite and told me if I was ever in need of their services again to please feel free to call. NO HAGGLING!! Just out of curiosity I asked what the ER fee was to come and look at the sink. She went over the prices and asked me to explain what had happened. She was so sweet and made me feel very at ease. She offered to have a technician named Tommy call me back and set up an appointment. She said that he could be at my home with in the hour. I agreed, called the other company back and canceled. Tommy called 5 minutes later. He talked to my husband and offered a few suggestions to help try to unclog the drain before even coming out. Let me remind everyone that I have not paid for any services at this point. Tommy was just trying to give a helping hand and it worked. My sink unclogged and Tommy saved me whatever it would've cost to come and snake out the drain. When I called back the main number to cancel the service call, I spoke with a different receptionist. She said she was pleased that we didn't need service but to call back if there was trouble. If all the help wasn't enough, Virginia called me again when she noticed our service call had been canceled. She said "she just wanted to make sure that we were okay". What a perfect company!!!

I have had probably at least 7 different companies look at my sewer and they all had the same story, they all said I was going to have to dig my driveway up and replace my sewer. I just always thought I would just wait as long as possible, and boy am I glad I did. I really could not believe the process and how easy they made it look. I also could not thank them enough for finally having a worry free holiday. Overall they really are just perfect!

My sales guy was on-time and very professional. He answered all of my questions and brought up a few things that the other companies didn't. It was very helpful to our decision process. After we decided to use Perfect Air, I was able to pick an installation date right away that worked with my schedule. The guys who came to do the installation were on-time and finished in the time that they said they would. They were polite and got right to work.Over all, I'm very happy with Perfect Air from my first contact with them and through to the end of the installation process.

They always call ahead. They give you a time window and usually call about a half hour before they come, which is really nice. Their office is staff is really great and always available to answer phone calls. Despite the price, I will continue to use them because of the great service they provide.

I called Perfect to come to the house to give an estimate to repair a non-working air conditioning system. I was told there would be a $49 charge for a service call, which was acceptable to me. Their rep came to the house later the same day at the appointed time. I explained to him that the problem appeared to be that the old (28 years) compressor had failed and asked him about repair options. He seemed to accept my assessment as he preformed no investigations on his own. He then provided quotes for refurbishment and replacement of the existing system. He did not go into the house and look at the existing furnace and duct-work where the new coil would have to be located, making me wonder how he could prepare an accurate quote. The quote provided for a new air-conditioning system was more than 50% higher than for which the work was ultimately contracted ($5K vs ($3K, in round nos.) He then indicated that there would be an additional $50 charge for the diagnosis, which was basically the information I had given to him. This charge was a surprise to me, but I paid nonetheless. The rep made a statement to the effect that he keeps telling the office staff that they need to mention this $50 charge when people call in.

I have used Perfect Air for my heating and A/C, and I have found them to be a very good company to deal with. I had the same good experience with my water heater installation.

My water heater exploded and my job demands a lot of time. I called the number in the phone book as they were BBB members. The ad read "With 17 years of experience servicing homes and businesses in the southwestern Chicago area you can be sure of experienced experts. We are BBB members with a proven track record for providing high quality services to highly satisfied customers. Zero BBB complaints in 17 years means you can rest assured that the service you get from Perfect Plumbing will take care of you and your plumbing needs. Read our BBB record here." First the call was answered by a dispatcher in her own home. I wanted information and she set up a dispatch! (That should have been a clue.) I soon got a call back from a plumber who said he could be there in 1 hour. I told him my prior water heater had lasted ten years and he gave me a story of how lucky I was and how they rot out. I wanted another GE and he didn't carry that brand on hand but did carry American Standard. I had already been doing on line research but didn't have a model number and couldn't get accurate information. He quoted a job for $500 before he left his warehouse. When he got in my basement the price jumped to $1263 with a service plan. Normally I do everything myself - but I do not fix my own brakes and I do not work on gas lines. At the time I thought I was getting a $850 - $900 water heater plus labor. After they left I searched online with the model and serial number to find it was worth $300. I wrote Dave Carrol at his personal e-mail address and shop address and never received a reply. Now every time I go in the basement I feel like an all day sucker.

We've had a lot of work done on this house over the past few years and this company was by far the most professional. We got 4 quotes from local companies. Perfect Air had the most professional and informative salesperson. They were not the lowest price and were not the highest price. Of the three companies, there were 2 that were less expensive and 1 that was more expensive. To sum it all up, they exceeded my expectations and what really impressed me the most was this company really does answer their phone any time as they promised. Our sewer backed up last night and noticed it around 3am. It was a horrible situation. They had a guy from their rooter division at my home in about an hour and they had the problem fixed in no time. We were more than impressed with the installation quality and professionalism of everyone we have dealt with and we can testify to the 24/7 service. Great company!

I experienced a few quality issues on the install and they were resolved.

At first I was told nothing could be done on the price, then I asked about the Angie's listing coupon (5% off). He said that is for a different service but he would honor it. I also asked about a coupon on the tankless water heater website, ($150 off), and was told he would, "look into it." I called a different company who has installed several of these types of tankless hot water heaters, received a lower quote on 4-28-09, ($4100 for cash or credit card), and had it installed by that company the following week.

When my water heater failed, they came the same day to talk about options. When they ran into difficulties installing a tankless water heater, as always happens in this old house, they stuck to their contract and finished the job in a professional manner.

Called them for a quote and they sent two people to my house to provide me the quote. One was more technical and the other was a sales person. They looked at my current furnace and AC. The quote that they provided was the highest of the several I received, even though they knew I was getting multiple quotes. They seemed OK overall.
