They had a convenient monthly payment plan for our service instead of a lump sum annual payment. It covered cleaning, inspection and any service calls we needed.

The Perfect Home Services specialist showed up within the agreed time range, was very courteous and did more than was required of him. My service clean out entry point was hard to find and Ben (the service specialist) searched for it inside and outside my home, eventually finding it hidden behind a stackable washer and dryer. After moving the washer/dryer he found that he couldn't get the scope through the line. (The developer did a bad job with this.) Ben came back the next day and removed the toilet to scope through there.We could see the line was clean and rodding was not necessary. He cleaned up and put everything back in order.I asked him a non-related question about water pressure. He helped to improve the water pressure at my sink and explained everything as he worked. Before he left, he gave me an enzyme drain-cleaner that he said would clean out the residual black muck in my sewer. Even though my line didn't need rodding he did so much extra work just to get the scope into the sewer line, I tried to get him to accept extra payment. All done, he still wouldn't take any additional money for the extra ordinary effort. He didn't know this, but I'm on the board of my townhome association and the experience has put Perfect Home Services onto my list of home service referrals for our 38 townhomes. Good job Ben. A plumber who is also a good customer service rep.

Technician was prompt, covered his shoes when in the house but dripped into the basement ceiling and down the wall. I am pleased with the spigots, but see below for the rest. The company was prompt and complete when replacing my outdoor water spigots. The were very pricey though. My complaint is that while there, the technician tested my water and told me my water hardness was off the charts as was the chlorine. He suggested a very expensive ($1800) water softener and purifier plus the cost of installation. I had the water tested elsewhere and found that it was soft and alkaline not acidic. Needless to say, I will not be using their service again, it came across as if he was trying to sell me something other than what I needed. I also had to sign up for a VIP membership to receive a 15% discount on the work done, but then later had to cancel it (sounds like a racket!!!) On the face of it, the job he did on the spigots was great, the rest left a bad feeling about the honesty of the company.

The requested work was to hydrojet an sump pump exterior drain. Tommy from Perfect Home came out quickly and explained the project. He mention that there was a small chance of a break. Unfortunately not only was there breaks but the pipe was shattered in another place as well. I had to leave during this work and he explained the issues to wife along with showing her the video of the problems. Tommy provided an estimate on the spot and over the next few days quickly answered my many questions about the work. This project was much more expensive than we had budgted for but I was pleased to find out they offer a 12 month finance - same as cash. Once we agreed to use Perfect Home for the repairs they sent Eric and his crew out to reline the pipe. I was impressed with Eric's dedication to making the job as perfect as possible. He patiently explained what they were doing and how the relining process works. This part of the job was completed in a just a few hours. Once Eric's crew was done they cleaned up the site so well you would not have known any work was done. This was very nice The next part of the project was lead by Wesley. His team had the tough part of digging up the damaged pipe. It took them many hours on a very hot day. Again Wesley was extremely patient with my questions about this part of the project. He also took pride in his work to leave the pipe with better angles and connections than the original contractor had done. Even though they had the "messy" part of the project, Wesley and his team left the job site in great shape.There was some minor damage to another pipe during the project and Perfect Home came out as soon as possibleto fix the issue. Overall very happy with this company and their work.

I made an appointment with Perfect Home Services and got their Angie's List special price. They called to inform me that they were able to come a bit earlier and made sure it would be okay. Ben power-rodded the line out all the way to where it connects to the city sewer system and from the external access back into the house. He flushed the pipe while he was rodding.There were tree roots that were severed that had grown into the joints. Then another truck came with a camera and they inspected the entire length of the pipe. There were no obstructions and the joints seemed okay. They explained an option where they line the inside of pipe so that no tree roots can grow into it. It would be about as expensive as replacing a section of the pipe like I had to have done years ago and the work is guaranteed. So I may be interested in looking into it. The guys were great; cleaned up after themselves. When they came into the utility room, they even put booties over their shoes. I was very impressed in terms of their professionalism and courtesy. They explained all their services and gave me estimates for different options for replacing the ejector pump. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

Ben was very kind, prompt, articulate and courteous and was careful about keeping and leaving my rug clean. I got the information I needed in a timely fashion. Ben was very thorough. We decided on using Perfect Home Services after receiving quotes from approximately 10 different plumbers on a solution to the perennial floods we were experiencing in our basement. Most plumbers would come in, take a quick look around and begin telling us in detail how we needed to put backflow controls on the sewer pipe or how we could solve the problem by installing a sump pump alone. Everyone seemingly had an out of the box price ready to quote, with very little attention to what we were actually prepared to budget or paying much concern to why we were having the work done. Seeing as we were planning to move our asthmatic son to the basement eventually, none seemed to understand that we wanted a solution that would guarantee no future problems with water entering the basement. Tommy came from Perfect Home Services and walked us through the benefits and downfalls of every service they could provide, and worked with us to develop a customized plan that not only fit our budget but also met all of our concerns. My wife, being an extremely fastidious and picky consumer, was thrilled with the level of personal communication and the willingness of Perfect Home Services to tailor our work to our plans. We contracted Tommy's team at the end of February with work to begin on March 25th. The crew showed up as expected, and performed their work in an extremely professional and quick manner. I work from home three days a week, and I hardly noticed them in the house. They scheduled water shutoffs to occur when we would not be affected, made sure that our house remained relatively dust-free (a great benefit to our son) and even went as far as to warn me when they needed the back gates opened for extended periods of time so our dogs wouldn't escape. On top of this excellent service, they identified additional problems which hadn't come up during the initial walk-through, such as an unvented drain pipe running to our dishwasher and a snarled mess of pipes running through our walls which had been capped at their ends instead of removed. Tommy and his crew fixed these problems for us free of charge so that there were absolutely no delays in getting our final plumbing inspection approved. After finishing the project, the crew swept out all debris and even hand cleaned our washer and dryer, leaving them in nicer condition than when they started. We were so impressed with Perfect Home Services that we ended up contracting them to finish our basement. This is a wonderful service, and I could not be more impressed with Perfect Home Services, and Tommy in particular.

I like their two year guarantee on things but they did a little upselling, though. They told us how much something was going to be and then when they finally got here to work it was a little more. We were told it would be $550 for a toilet for my sister next door; they came to see two houses at once. They told her they did not want her old toilet then said they would replace it for $500 with her discount and I believe her bill was actually $600; and they had done no more work than what they originally promised... It was little things like that; they did a couple of those things. But the work was done okay, they followed through and the stuff works so I have no real complaints; but the price was not quite as advertised. They were here on time and I will use them again in the future.

The company came to clean our catch basin. They were very professional, and we engaged them to do additional work that involved digging and fixing a drain pipe under ground and fixing a connection to the sewer in a sink inside. All the workers who came were very professional and efficient. We found a new plumbing company to call when we need them. Brigitte Erbe

It went great. It's always nice to deal with honest people. Ben and Tommy arrived within the time promised and even when they were told that the only access to the sewer line was thru the catch basin, they made no fuss, but set right to work setting up. They opened the catch basin which we were ready to pay to have cleaned in addition to the other work we were having done and were told that it didn't require cleaning. Then they put the camera in the line and ran it all the way out to the city sewers only to find that the sewer line looked brand new and required no rodding at all!! We were also ready to pay to have the main sanitary stack rodded, but once again they said it didn't need it. Wow! And, it certainly wasn't like they were trying to get out of anything because we could see it ourself on their camera's screen. So, apparently the problems we'd had which resulted in our thinking we needed to have the line rodded was really the result of a tenant putting something down the drain that didn't belong (it's a two-flat) which caused a temporary backup, but went down on its own eventually. We showed Ben the product that we'd been putting in the catch basin which he said was a good product, but they had one that was more effective. He had it on the truck and we got that from him. I wish I could say more, but as it turned out we really didn't need their services, but it was nice to find out everything was in great shape. Pretty amazing for a 100+ year old house with original pipes! We'll be looking forward to using their company for some duct cleaning that we're going to be doing in a few months.

My experience with this company was terrific, start to finish. Everyone I spoke with on the phone was extremely courteous, professional, and understanding. I called on a Sunday, and even in the midst of a storm of appointments caused by the coupon offered, they were able to schedule an appointment to come out the next day (the coupon dictated that the service needed to be done during M-F service hours, otherwise I am sure they would have been out day of). They arrived right on time and started to work. We have had issues with sewage coming up into our basement periodically for the past 2 years, and the plumbers we have had out in the past have rodded, claimed they couldn't get a camera in due to the set up of our system, and recommended we tear up our whole basement in an attempt to find the problem. These guys had a camera in within 15 minutes, and could see right away that rodding would not solve my issue. They recommended hydro-jetting to remove the sludge which had accumulated, showed me the issue and where it lay in the pipes, and once I agreed, they put me on the schedule for the next morning. The next day they arrived promptly and again, started right in. After the jetting, they showed me the newly cleaned pipes and the apparent cause of our recurring issue, an abandoned t-joint connecting to the pipe which jutted in enough to catch waste. We discussed possible future solutions, and they offered to come out in 3 months, free of charge, to inspect the area again and see how quickly stuff accumulates to help decide what we should do down the line. They gave me a 10% discount for signing up for their monthly service offer (well worth the price as long as the service level remains this high), and also discounted the price of the coupon I had purchased, which was great. Later that evening I went down to do laundry and was horrified to see sewage coming up again from the usual drain. I called them right away and they said they would be out first thing in the morning unless I needed them right away. I agreed to wait until the next day (the waste was barely coming up and subsiding again quickly). They came as promised and this time rodded that specific drain first, then jetted the whole thing again, looked with the camera and had me run water to make sure things were really done this time. It seems the first time, jetted water and waste had shot up the unused pipe, and then returned slowly after. They worked very hard to make sure that wouldn't happen again, were there for hours and didn't charge me a bit extra, disinfected the area, and generally showed how committed they are to doing the job right. I could not be happier with the job they did, and I feel so relieved to have finally found a plumbing company in which I have total trust.

Although there were no immediate problems prompting this service call, decided to take advantage of the Angie's List special for a maintenance check. When Steve came out to the house, we reviewed the intermittent problem we've had with slow draining in the laundry sink. Based on our history, we decided to rod out the pipe connecting directly to the basement sink rather than the main pipe. This was a revision of the original service order. Accessing the main pipe would have been difficult, requiring both the washer and dryer to be moved out of the way. And since we'd had no other backup problems other than the laundry sink, it seemed that it would be easier and helpful to concentrate on the secondary pipe. Steve reviewed our options and objectively pointed out what could be done and accomplished. Because the dryer and washer were major appliances, he said there would be an additional charge to move them. We never got round to discussing what that charge would be, though, because we opted to revise the original plan. Steve was prompt, professional, and answered our questions patiently. He left everything as he found it, wore special shoe protectors, and certainly reflected the best of this company. In talking with him, we learned more about the company and its services and asked him to provide quotes on some additional plumbing work.

On Friday, April 27, after observing the video of the sewer line, salesman Tommy A. was very professional and went to great degree in explaining the work to be done and why it was necessary to in one case to dig and reattach Cast iron-PVC junction by digging (offset of pipes was too much for relining. The other junction (PVC to clay pipe) was able to have resin relining done (no digging required) and would cover from junction through full length of clay pipe to PVC of main sewer line. Both jobs would be covered with lifetime warranty. After agreeing to contract and scope of project on Friday, permits were secured and work began on morning of Monday April 30. Ryan & Dan moved stone landscaping and completed digging trench and repair of Cast iron-PVC junction. After lunch, Eric arrived to jet clean the clay sewer line and inspect the extent of damage. Resin relining was still indicated. Meanwhile they added gravel to trench under sewer lines; I was impressed with the teamwork and how proud of their work to explain their methods and observations. They finished for the day as they had to wait for Village inspection on the following morning. They left the site with a plywood board covering the trench and a safety fence placed around the plywood area. On Tuesday, inspection was completed without any problems. I was out for the day and arrived home just as Eric was stowing his video equipment. When he saw me arriving home, Eric told me all had gone very well and had hoped I would be home to see how the resin is mixed and installed. He then repositioned the video equipment to show me the finished results (no evidence of cracked clay pipe and he said that section is much stronger and will not allow tree roots or cracking to recur. I was especially impressed again of the enthusiasm and pride in their work. They will be returning in June to re-landscape the work area after allowing the ground to settle. They will also be delivering a DVD of the video of the new sewer line. My drains are running much faster after the work was done. I am very satisfied with quality of work and the people (Eric, Ryan, Dan) who did it. I would definitely recommend them to friends.

I had a kitchen faucet installed. I have no luck with plumbing (leaks and skinned knuckles) so I had a plumber come and install it. Scott was prompt, courteous, and professional. He had to work in a small space and being about 6 feet tall didn't help. As he was about to finish the job he found out that the faucet had a manufacturing error. He took the time to call the manufacturer and get the part replaced. I am very satisfied with Perfect Home Services.

It he was a weekend and my main sewer line was plugged. I got a quick response and he was here within an hour. The service man was very professional and explained everything in detail. He struggled with getting the cutter to go the correct direction. He kept his patience and when he got to the clog it required a lot of manipulation. He needed to get a larger cutter to make sure that the line was clear of roots. He did offer to hydro jet during the next week and I declined. Very professional and I would recommend anyone to use their services.
