Needless to say, it works like a charm and is not noisy at all. I will say when I first went to his shop, I was doubtful that a replacement part would be available; was so happy with the new attachment and so are my rugs/carpeting. Will use him again if I need to in the future.

Very prompt, reasonable. He even showed me what had been clogged in the vaccuum. It is a good distance away from my home but worth the trip for the price and quick turn around.

I brought it in on a Wednesday and explained the grinding noise it was making. The owner (Jim, as I recall) called me the next day to let me know which parts needed replacing and the total cost, which I approved. It was actually fixed by Friday; but I picked it up on Monday. I made sure to stop at the cash station on the way, since only cash or check are accepted.

My experience with a vacuum cleaner repair at Steve's Vacuums was excellent. Next time I need either a new vacuum or a repair, I plan to return to Steve's. I took in two vacuums--a Hoover cannister and a Hoover FloorMate--and Steve indicated to me right away which was worth repairing and which was not. He then repaired the broken plastic door to the vacuum bag area and thoroughly cleaned out the vacuum, including replacement of two clogged filters. When I picked it up, the vacuum cleaner looked like was brand new. I'm very satisfied. I've already recommended this place to friends and family

I had a great experience. I opt'd to purchase one of the vacuum cleaner's that they carried that would do a better job as I have a lot of pet hair with 3 cats and 1 golden retriever. I was provided a credit for the vacuum that I brought in for cleaning. I LOVE the vacuum that I purchased. It is absolutely the best vacuum I have ever had and worth every cent.

Looked on Angie's list for a local vacuum repair shop and found Steve's. Even though there weren't any recent reports (they dated back to 2005) I decided to give them a try. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Jim had the repaired vacuum cleaner ready for pick up the next day. For all the work that was involved, I feel that $76.00 was a very reasonable.

TWICE I HAVE BROUGHT MY VACUUM HERE TO GET THE BELT REPLACED. THE GENTLEMAN IS ALWAYS VERY NICE and PROMPT, and EVEN BRINGS MY VACUUM TO MY CAR FOR ME. IF I HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY NEW VACUUM I WILL DEFINITELY BRING IT HERE FOR REPAIRS.

I ACCIDENTALLY SUCKED UP A FOIL BALL/CAT TOY WITH THE VACUUM, AND COULD NOT GET IT OUT OF THE HOSE (IT WOULD NOT DETACH). IT RENDERED THE VACUUM CLEANER VIRTUALLY USELESS. I BROUGHT IT INTO STEVE'S AND THEY FIXED IT, AND ALSO GAVE MY VACUUM A TUNE UP, REPLACING ALL OF THE BELTS AND FILTERS. OVERALL IT WAS VERY SATISFACTORY, THOUGH I DID THINK IT WAS A BIT EXPENSIVE.
