Awesome! Art is always knowledgable and quick.

The work Art did was great. The outside lights still work and they look great.

He shows up on time. He works efficiently. If he cannot do a specific job you ask him about, he will tell you so. The best part is he likes to do small repairs. We have found that most people who call themselves handymen want to remodel your kitchen or bathroom. They don't want to do small but necessary jobs. Often they come over and, when we show them three or four small repairs we want done, they act interested and say they'll call you next week. They never do. Except for Art.

Art surveyed the damage to our wood-framed windows, told us what he would do for them, gave us a cost and time it would take to finish the project.

Art knows his stuff. Having an older home is a challenge and Art has the working knowledge to know what to look for. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, neat and does a terrific job. He has now done many projects for me and I have recommended him to my friends.

He's great. He probably comes to our house once a month. He's responsive, professional and wants to fix the problem as much as he wants to make a living. Art will always put in the extra effort. I would tell others to hire him. For me he hasn't raised the prices because I've been with him so long.

ART WAS GREAT. HE TOOK OFF HIS SHOES AND USED A DROP CLOTH TO PROTECT OUR FLOORS. HE KNEW WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND PROVIDED THE MATERIALS TO DO THE JOB. HE WAS NEAT AND SWEPT THE AREAS WHERE HE WORKED.THIS WAS A SMALL JOB, BUT I PLAN TO USE HIM AGAIN FOR SOME LARGER PROJECTS IN THE SPRING

Art was great! He responded to my calls promptly and showed up when he said he would. He was able to complete the jobs asked of him (installing ceiling fans, fixing a gutter leak, trimming trees, fixing a door) and was honest when he was not able to do something. He was upfront about cost which I greatly appreciated. He was friendly and I feel he cared about the work. He also cleaned up after each project! I would definitely call him again.

He did a terrific job. He was right on time, even called the night before to confirm the appointment. He had the highest quality materials with him, so we did not have to go out and buy them on our own. We paid him for the bars and the labor, and the total cost was reasonable. He installed the proper size bars just as we requested, and even offered a few really good suggestions. He took the time to explain what he was going to do in detail and got final approval on placement before he did any drilling. He is very detailed and professional. We have worked with him before and will hire him again.

See above. I would highly recommend Art-the Fit-It Guy as reliable and fairly priced. His work was very good and he charged much less than what we would have paid if we had hired a general contractor. I will certainly use him again for any small handhold, repair or remodeling projects.

This is the 2nd time I've used Art. he's on time, professional, and knowledgeable. He does a good job very reasonably and will advise against something he thinks is unwise. (i.e. he refused to re-connect a hanging light that he said was a fire hazard and advised me to replace it.)

Art is excellent at what he does. He is professional, honest, and likeable. His prices are reasonable and fair. He goes beyond the call of duty.

There was a large crack in a toilet seat at my mother's home. A bolt had fallen off and the loose seat became a safety hazard for my mother. I called Art and he was very responsive by phone and e-mail. First he went to my mother's house to look at the situation and measure the seat for a proper fit. Art was flexible in scheduling the repair to accommodate my mother's schedule. He purchased the seat and installed it within a half an hour. The new seat is very good quality. I think Art worked efficiently and did an excellent repair job! Art has done work for me and my mother in the past. He is very talented at home repair work and is a good communicator. Art has always been fair, ethical and trustworthy in his dealings with us. My mother feels very comfortable having him in her home. He has completed big and small jobs for her, all of them done to high quality standards. Art also provides excellent consultation about other potential jobs around the home. I can tell that Art takes great pride in his work and sincerely likes to help others and improve their home. No doubt, we will call Art again for additional work in the future.

Overall, it was a good experience. Art was extremely responsive to our concerns and able to come out right away, very prompt, polite, and professional throughout the job. His rates ($70/hour) seemed a bit high, but we were willing to pay since he came out right away, and he has such good reviews on Angie's List. Also, the job took him about twice as long (4 hours) as he had estimated (1-2 hours), but there was an unexpected snafu on one door, and he only charged us for 3 hours of work, so that seemed fair...although still a little more expensive than we had anticipated. All in all, Art seems like a smart and kind guy, and he works hard and steadily --I suspect that if our problem had been electrical (his specialty), he could have completed in half the time. Recommend.

I contacted Art in the morning and he came by a few hours later. He took a look at my very old vanity, which wasn't really installed correctly to begin with, and knew exactly how to handle the job. I have to mentioned that I have an older home - 95 years plus. The mirror is connected with the light and a shaver's plug - all one unit including the switch. I have no plugs in my basement bathroom. The wiring is the old style with fabric covering. Art couldn't have been nicer - he fixed the switch, checking all of the wiring to make sure that I was safe and finished within record time. I was very happy someone even figure out the wiring to begin with, Art knew exactly what to do. He couldn't be a nicer gentleman to work with and his charges are reasonable. I have already scheduled him for additional work around my home. I am so very pleased to have found Art. Highly recommended.

The experience was good. They were middle of the road as far as estimates were concerned. They seemed a little more reliable so that's why we went with this one.
