Very Good! Art came & looked at the issue & gave a written estimate. He said he will come three to four times to paint that place & also surrounding areas so that they blend in. He fixed the hole one day & came couple of more times to paint over the entire area as he suggested

Art is a conscientious, honest, and fair professional that is very dedicated to doing the work right. He follows up after a job is done to make sure all is well. His hourly rate is very much in line with the trade's. I would not hesitate in referring and recommending Art. It is a pleasure to be able to deal with such an honest and dedicated person committed to doing well by the customer.

I called at 4:30 pm. Art told me he could fit me in in about 4-5 days. When I mentioned how inconvenient the problem was, he came out the next morning. He use a kit to replace everything, so there should be no other problems for years. Although he spent much more time, he charged only for an hour. He also looked at some less urgent projects which we'll have him do at a more leisurely time.

Art came the same day I called and did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable and his cost was reasonable. I would highly recommend.

The window was done quickly and correctly. The doors he spent 2+ hours trying different products and when he announced he was through with one, I couldn't turn the deadbolt lock. That one had to be redone. I felt I was paying for his mistake in the first place and today the entire weather stripping is falling out each time I use the door. I feel it was obvious this was not his expertise and he should have advised me of that. He blamed the weather stripping not adhering to the door frames due to the cold weather but I have friends in construction that advised me that this is not true and can be installed anytime year round. Art spent over an hour trying to figure out which wires went to which doorbells, the doorbell was never installed and he left the front casings of both doorbells he was working on lying on my hall carpet instead of putting them back until, or, if he came back to finish the job.

Art is very nice and knows what he is doing. He is very professional and called me back and came to do the work promptly. The first day it took him 1 and 1/2 hours. He came back with more supplies and spent 2 hours fixing the rest. I would hire him again.

Art was professional and very knowledgeable. He returned my call the same day and we discussed the work in some detail so that he had an idea of any materials/tools he needed to bring with him. He also was clear on his billing arrangements and gave me a rough estimate of the number of hours he anticipated he would need to complete the items. Art arrived promptly for both my appointments and each day discussed the work to be done. He was efficient and always completed one job before moving on to the next. He was very careful of his surroundings, protecting floors with drop cloths and removing any debris as needed. He went out of his way to correct a few minor related issues to several of the jobs he was doing, he also matched a paint color of one room where I had no existing touchup paint and picked up the needed supplies before returning the second day to paint. I was very pleased with Art's quality of work and appreciated his knowledge and tricks of the trade. Would recommend!

Job 1: Great. He responded quickly, made a quick appointment to accommodate my needs, arrived promptly, did a good job, was pleasant and professional, friendly. Price was good. Job 2: Very well. He is prompt, polite, personable and the work was nicely done on a timely basis.

He was not only on time but early. He was very thorough and presented me with alternatives to fix the problem. His price was very fair.

Art is terrific! He's extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He worked constantly, for 4 hours (he charges by the hour). He cleaned up after himself. He is very safety conscious.

I did not utilize this service. Art called back after four days, explaining he was out of town (although his voice mail didn't mention his unavailability). Also I thought his hourly rate was quite high. I secured another service at half the cost.

It was in a tight spot being immediately adjacent to the dishwasher. Art came and did an excellent job of reattaching the cabinet face securely and making the repairs virtually invisible.

Art returned phone call and came out on time to give an estimate. The work he could not do he told us and recommended the repair to be done by a qualified tech - the work he was able to do was done very well. He was on time for each visit and a pleasure to work with.

He is very responsive and he is good about calling to let you know if he won't be on time. His work is excellent, very neat and he is a very cordial individual. He is easy to work with and follows through with everything.

Art was on-time. He answered all of our questions and told us which jobs he was and was not able to complete right away. He removed all three of the toilets, which were not properly secured, replace the wax ring, made any additional adjustments in order to make sure the job is well done, and placed the toilets back, securing them tightly. He cleaned up after his work was finished.

Very well. He came over at a time that was convenient for us. He had everything he needed to make the repair - even though there were different sizes/types of cartridges that could have been called for - and he completed the work right away.

Art went out of his way to be sure I was satisfied. The faucet gave him nightmares as he was having trouble getting it to work properly. Art went out of his way to purchase a similar faucet to find out what the problem was. Turns out one of the components was broken. Art was very prompt, honest, and went above and beyond to get the job done correctly. I would highly recommend Art to anyone. Thanks Art.

Art got the materials and completed the work quickly. He has performed a wide variety of other jobs for us: restaining cabinets and window sills, building a wood shelf, reframing a door and installing safety locks. Throughout each project, Art consulted with us to make sure the work was as we wanted it to be. His pricing has usually been less than several less talented handymen we've previously employed.

Art was very responsive. He came to look at the projects, and was able to start the work that day. He fixed a hole in the wall and made sure that the banister was firmly anchored into the wall. Our front screen door wasn't closing without the handle being pulled down. Art took it apart and fixed it very easily. Instead of just replacing the weather stripping for me, he showed me how I could do it myself. His pricing was very fair. He told me that because the materials needed were minimal, that he would only charge me for his time. On a side note -- he was very sweet with my three year old son. My son has been watching a new fix-it show and was talking about drywall anchors. Art gave him one so that he could see what it was.

We called Art for an estimate for some handyman work needed at my father's home in Wheeling. Art was courteous and professional, both in person and over the telephone. Within a couple of days he came to the house to take a look at the work needed, and gave us an honest and thorough appraisal of the work in question. Would have easily hired him for the job, but due to my budget had to go with another contractor.

He was professional, arrived on time and charged what he estimated even though it did take him longer than expected.

Art was great! We emailed him on a Friday afternoon and he called us within a couple of hours. We mentioned to him there was no hurry to fix the toilet assuming he would charge extra to come out on a weekend. He told us he doesn't charge a weekend rate and set up an appointment for the following morning. He arrived on time and completed the task promptly. While we had him, we threw a couple additional small projects at him which he gladly took care of. We will definitely be using him in the future. It's a shame he doesn't do remodeling!

He listened to me fully and acknowledged that he could not do the work. He provided me with helpful information, that I was not aware of. He told me what to look for and what to stay away from. Though he did not provide any work for me I would recommend him.

Art was on time, knowledgeable (offered lots of practical advice on how to handle various problems), polite, responsible, and reasonably priced. He was a professional and a pleasure.
