AMPEST EXTERMINATING & WILDLIFE CONTROL

Ampest Exterminating and Wildlife Control did reasonably well. They are responsive, when you call they can come out within relatively short time and they seem to know what they are doing in terms of their work. We were very satisfied with the service and pricing is reasonable and response is very good, very professional, they take care not to mess up.

I bought the trap and baited it. The squirrel has been released into the park. And Ampest has a customer for life! I couldn't be more pleased with the fantastic advice Jane gave me/

He was very professional and explained everything he did. Included one return visit when he sealed the openings. And it worked- better than my store bought traps.

I called Ampest Exterminating on Monday, March 10th and explained to them that I was hearing scratching in my attic and eventually down my walls. The person who answered the phones asked a couple of basic questions and from my answers was able to determine it was probably mice. She went ahead and scheduled the guy to come out and he came out the next morning. He was 30 minutes early which I was perfectly ok with. He jumped in the attic, did his assessment and found out it was mice. He laid all sorts of mice removal lunch and said within 1 week the mice would more than likely be gone. Amazingly enough 1 hour later we heard the mouse moving the brick of lunch , aka poison, around the floor. The guy said that he would leave the attic and search for water after eating the poison. I think that's exactly what happened because we have heard anything since. Typically at night he was running around the attic and down the walls. We're hoping he left the house otherwise we get the fun of dealing with dead mouse smell. That said, it's just good to have the critter removed. Overall, I was very happy with what Rob Wolf (technican) did. He answered all of our questions and was in and out within about 25 minutes. I would definitely use this service again.

I didn't say anything about price because I didn't use any other company to compare with.

Would definitely recommend this company. The price is very reasonable compared to the other companies that advertise their services. Everyone I spoke with was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and truly concerned about my situation. They were able to troubleshoot why I was having the pest problems and found out the house had issues that was the cause of the persistent pest problem. They stayed on top of the problem after several follow-up calls. They were willing to accommodate. A very pleased customer.

The first time they scheduled a window of time, they have been back three times. They have just showed up on the door since the first meeting. He showed up today, unannouced. I heard banging at the door and it kept getting louder to to a point I felt fearful. I was unable to come down the stairs and see who was at the door. I had to call the police and waited until they came. I called him and asked what he was doing and let him know I called the police. Due to this I will no longer use his service.

They genuinely listened to our concerns about our church building and the building use by elders and seniors. Given that our building is 150 years old, there are lots of hidden areas due to new building/remodeling. These folks climbed up and into areas I never even knew existed. They were vigilant about returning until our issues were resolved. Personable, professional, and, most importantly, GOT THE JOB DONE ! ! !

They removed the bees and did an excellent job.

Nick came out to see where the yellow jackets were coming I'm. He was really nice and professional. He found the area quickly and dusted. He said to call if it continued. Unfortunately it continued, Nick came out again and dusted and recommended we re caulk the sky light. Sure enough that was the problem. Nick was great and understanding. I usually go through Chem wise but they couldn't get anyone out until the following week. Am pest came out within 2 hours!

The first visit was to inspect for any cracks or openings where mice could be coming in and to set traps in the event they started to come in earlier than expected. The guy was punctual, came out during the 2 hour window we were given, very polite and confident about what needed to be done. We agreed for him to come back and inspect the traps and seal any places he found where the mice could be getting. He found several places in front of house and back as well. 10 days later he came back, checked the traps (no mice) and then did the work of filling in the cracks and openings he found before. I feel confident that this will be the last of this problem and worth the money.

One afternoon as I sat in my TV room I heard this large scurrying noise on the side of my house. It left me breathless. A couple of nights later I heard what sounded like a man walking in my attic. I left a panicked message for Ampest on a Sunday evening as I sat in my home listening to scratching in my attic. I was terrified. The very next day Ampest returned my call and sent a wildlife nuisance control expert to my home that same afternoon. The technician went into the attic and immediately informed me I had a raccoon problem. I was thinking squirrels but a raccoon. He set a trap/cage in the attic assuring me the critter would be caught...and it was. Ampest has a six day program. They set a trap/cage and return to your home for six days. After the critter was caught the droppings were removed and the attic was sanitized. Ampest will close the entry hole but they were unable to do so and I have to call a roofer because of the awkward placement of the hole. I am extremely grateful for Ampest and very pleased with their service.

The technician did a great job of addressing areas of concern. He was professional, polite, and punctual. He had to come back a second time, but again was very professional. After that, the problem was under control. I would definitely use them again. The lady who scheduled appointments on the phone was also very pleasant and reassuring.

It went well. I haven't seen any ants since so that's a good thing.

Ampest was great. Dan (the owner, I think) evaluated the situation accurately and proceeded with a trapping strategy that was successful. It took about 6 days, with two squirrels (pregnant females) being trapped within about 72 hours. He left traps up another few days just to be sure. Then he patched up the holes along the gutter line that were allowing them access. Ampest was our second attempt. The first company, that stressed the and quot;humaneand quot; removal of animals was completely ineffective. They used a and quot;colony trapand quot; attached one hole -- the easier one for them to access -- but left the harder to see and less accessible entry points open. I believe main reason for this was that they didn't have ladders tall enough to reach and inspect the areas along the roof-line. So that was a complete waste of time and money. Dan and his company were successful in 6 days compared to a month of wasted time with the other company. A COMPLETE inspection of your property is the most important first step. Ampest did that. And Dan called me every day with updates. Did everything he said he would do -- even came on Sunday to pick up a squirrel that was captured late Saturday evening. We've had no problems since!

He showed up immediatley after we scheduled, he was very responsive. Very personable, semmed enthused about his work. Even the office staff were pleasent. He got the job done, and we have had no further issues.

Unfortunately, they did not trap the raccoon after 10 days. But there was no remaining sign of inhabitation. Ron did a thoroughly professional job of setting traps. He was punctual. He checked the traps every day. He tried alternative methods. I am completely satisfied with Ron and Ampest even though I wanted that pet raccoon.

Thanks to Lenny for his great service. He inspected our home, provided his analysis and gave us his thoughts on how to better protect our home from pests. He was very patient, pleasant and helpful. If we need help in the future we will definitely call Ampest and request Lenny. Thanks.

The service was excellent. They came out 6 times over 7 days since this period was over a weekend. They removed the traps on Sat evening and brought them back on Monday morning. Over this period they trapped two squirrels which were removed and released 10 miles away. The squirrels never came back and we were completely satisfied with the service and guarantee.

They showed up in 15 minutes. They were great. He was such a professional.

A neighbor had seen a large possum around my yard. I contacted AMPEST and Jane was very courteous and professional over the phone. She explained their animal removal program and the cost to set traps, monitor daily for 5-6 days, take away any animals in the raps, and to place a metal fence barricade in any susceptible areas where animals may set up home. Rob came out the day promised, explained what he would do, confirmed the costs, and answered my questions. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He inspected the house perimeter for signs of animal digging or buroughing, set the raps in targeted areas, and came back everyday as promised to check the traps. He caught two large possum's, identified where they were living under a back garage door concrete step, and put in a metal fence to block any further animals seeking shelter in that spot. Mission accomplished! The costs was $345 for the traps setting and animal removal for 5-6 days and $90 for the 12' x 12' or so metal fence and installation against the opening under the back garage door concrete step. A little pricey, but I got the resuts I wanted. I would use the again if necessary and recommend them to others.

Great service from begining to end. Everyone is so friendly and very knowledgeable. Rob came to my house the next day after the phone call and explained the entire process. After getting the estimate which I thought was very fair I agreed to let Rob set several traps on my roof to try and catch the squirrels. They come everyday and check the traps themselves compared to other companies that have the homeowners checking the traps. They take away and animal they catch and reset the traps with fresh bait. ALL in all they caught 3 on the roof and caught one in the attic. We also discovered where they may have been coming into the attic and I had that problem fixed. Since then no further issues. I would definetly recommend this company, they were very professional and did a great job.

When I called the company, I was very pleased speaking with Jane. She was very friendly, upbeat, and helpful. Lenny was the exterminator who came to my house. He was very personable and knowledgeable. I thought voles were getting into my house, but he told me they were mice. He told me some things that I didn't know and he was very helpful. I am very happy that I decided on Ampest.

Keith was on time, got to work right away, answered all my questions put gel by front door at the source for flying carpenter ants, sprayed base boards is every roof.Sprayed basement and garage for spiders.Then sprayed entire foundation outside around house.He was thorough and experienced.The price was worth within a week there was a spider to be found.The peace of mind.

This company is FANTASTIC! It all began with a phone call to a wonderfully helpful woman, whose name I have forgotten. Very friendly and helpful. She explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions. Then Nick arrived, exactly when they said he would. He inspected the attic. He determined that squirrels had been there recently and he found where they had entered. He then placed traps outside at the base of the tree which he determined they had been climbing to get into the house. He came everyday (even on some nasty rainy days) and checked on traps, showing me the squirrels when they were trapped. He was very knowledgeable about squirrels, their habits and behaviors. He patiently answered all of my questions. He even went out of his way to obtain the name and number of a fantastic handyman who repaired the hole in our roof at a reasonable cost. And, bottom line, the problem has been solved - no more squirrels! A great company that helped us take care of a nasty problem!!
