BODEN HAUS LANDSCAPE

To start with we had the owner come to our home to give us a bid in the summer of 2012. We had the work done march of 2013.The bid was for $1500. When it came time to hire him, he came to my home and I provided him a copy of his bid. However, after the work was complete i waited almost an entire month to recieve the final bill. It didnt come so I called Aaron. He sent me the final bill. It was for $2000.00. We were shocked. How could it jump $500? We left several messages. No reply. I sent an email. His response was he under bid it. He needed more rock etc.. Also his crew did not trim the bushes in the backyard to the agreed height so he sent them over again. Again, they did not trim them to the right height but he charged me for sending them over anyway. The bushes were poorly trimmed. I sent him pictures but again no response. I was out of town when this work was going on. I could have been reached at anytime. Aaron did not try to contact me once to let me know he under bidded the job. Honestly, we thought it was high but felt Aaron would get it done right so it would be worth more. It wasn't. It is not a bad job, but not good enough that I would have them back. His employees covered up sprinkler heads with rock, the layer of rock in the flower bed is thin etc... Maybe our expectations were to high. We settled on 200 more but I still feel like we shouldnt have paid more. He won't return calls so I can't have a conversation with him. He only communicates via email or text.
