PEASLEY-NAMPA MOVING & STORAGE

The second leg of the journey did not go so well. First of all they were running a day late. And Allied could not reach the Peasley driver. For two days we had no word on where the truck was at. We finally heard back from the driver, just time for him to tell us he was running behind schedule. When he finally arrived he had hired two guys "off the street" to assist him. He then informed me that if I wanted to check off each box that it would take forever and they were in a hurry. They keep complaining that they were tired and wanted to wrap it up. I felt pressued to get them on their way. In addition two of the guys were rather intimidating and I was a woman alone with a child and did not want to have them hanging around any longer than necessary. I later learned that if you do not check each and every box against the paperwork that the orginal movers compliled then you are at fault. Therefore I was not re-embursed for any of my lost items.The bottom line was, I was missing 1/2 of all my kitchenware. All my pots and pans were missing as well as baking dishes mixing bowls and the like. They also delivered both of my bikes missing a tire. As time goes on I find more and more things missing. I submitted a loss request but was denied because I signed off on the paperwork. In addition they told me they were not required to put any items back together. The bottom line is I would not recommend Peasley, the driver was not reliable and they hire random labors to help them and I did not feel comfortable with them in my home. They cost me over $2,000 in items I had to replace.
