Description of Work: We took a wall out between two bedrooms and they completed the work by tying in the ceiling and squaring the walls. They even did some extra work by moving a light switch into the middle of the existing wall so it looked better.

 + -1 morePaul did everything right. He came on schedule to check the job and submitted a bid the next day. He came on schedule for the project, which spanned a few days to allow for drying, set up, and sanding. The texture matched the adjoining room, as we requested. All that, and he is also a nice guy to have around.
Description of Work: patched, smoothed and textured the walls in a bedroom.

 + -1 morePaul did a beautiful job. He was on time to the minute to give us a bid and to do the work. Another company we contacted for an estimate looked the job over and promised to e-mail us a bid that night but we never heard from them again. Paul promised to send us a bid that night and actually did. His work is first rate, his prices reasonable and he's a friendly, personable guy. We'll recommend him to anyone who needs drywall work. As the movie reviewers used to say, two thumbs up.
Description of Work: Paul put drywall over a 4 by 6 recessed area in our kitchen ceiling where we had removed fluourescent lights. It was one of those '80s recessed lights with "decorative" plastic panels that are supposed to hide the fluourescent tubes but are always slipping out, falling on the floor and cracking. We'd had enough so we installed recessed can lights instead. Paul installed sheetrook over the hole in the ceilling, taped it, and textured it to perfectly match the rest of the ceiling. All I had to do was paint, and now you'd never know there was a recess there. Paul screened off the cupboards and countertops and put paper runners on the floor to protect the kitchen from texture splatter and dust.

Description of Work: Sprayed our ceiling with texture for a more even look during a remodel. Room size was about 800 sq ft. I also called Paul back to repair a crack in the ceiling drywall. Both jobs looked great.

 + -1 moreAs a long time retired contractor, developer and project manager, I know how difficult it can be to find competent help for small jobs. Matching various textures to blend with existing surfaces is, in the drywall trade, the mark of a compete journeyman. Paul was 100%, in terms of quality of work performed on my high-end cliffside home, I could not have asked for more. Additionally, he is a fine gentleman with excellent communication skills. If all the sub-contractors I had dealt with in my career were as capable and easy to work with as Paul, I'd have a lot fewer gray hairs now!

 + 0 moreIt went beautifully. You cannot tell the difference between the top and the bottom of the walls. Paul did everything he could to make sure it was perfect and he was successful!
Description of Work: Paul is wonderful. He loves small jobs and that's what I had for him. He had to take down some would and wallpaper and textured the walls to make them match the top part.

Description of Work: Paul is a great hire! 3 new walls in the loft split it into 2 new rooms, paint matched and custom painted one of the rooms. Applied sound deadening material to one wall to reduce noise in the new bedroom. He went out of his way to accommodate the noise of construction while my kids napped! He's worth every penny and would highly recommend to anyone.

 + -1 moreMy husband dealt with them, but he did not have any complaints. I think he liked them. They got back to us in a timely manner. We were trying to get a couple of different things for our insurance, and all of them were having trouble understanding that we needed some multiple bids of all the people that we had. They did a really good job, but it was kind of back and forth telling them what we need. They were punctual.

 + 1 morePaul provided a competitive bid very promptly. He also kept very tight to his timeline that he promised us. After being paid in full, I asked for a couple of very minor touch-ups that he quickly did at no extra charge. He will be on our next project for sure.
Description of Work: Griffin installed new drywall in the basement that was unfinished. They also finished a bathroom and laundry room remodel as well as detailed repair work throughout the house getting it ready for new paint. This was a bank owned house we were doing a complete make over for re-sale.
