Every employee was respectful and competent. From the guys who bid the job, to the ones who did the hard work, to the after completion details, each employee did their job well. I was appreciative of their awareness for the safety of my house when they left for supplies or for lunch.

In 2017, the water table under our house increased. Our finished basement flooded. I contacted several places, most were unresponsive or had a big sales pitches but couldn't get to it for months. Then Absolutely Dry Basement and Waterproofing called back. They told me what needed to be done and I said go. They put in new drain tile throughout the basement and a sump pump. The price was reasonable. I waited for big rains before posting this review. We had several this year and my basement is absolutely dry. Outstanding company.

Basement contactor put in a series of drainage ditches, PVC pipe for the downspouts, repaired, rotted boards, and added a, tar-like substance to seal all the crevices should water get past the drainage ditches. It was an excellent plan/execution and I fully expect to have a dry basement for the life of my home.

Job appears to be well done. The installer didn't always honor the agreed upon schedule.

Kory and his crew were great! They arrived at the scheduled time, and did the necessary repairs. They were professional, courteous and friendly. They explained how they planned to do the repairs. When the repairs were finished, they completely cleaned up their work area.

The immediate contact from company rep through Angie's List went well and they had someone out to give an accurate estimate right away.  This person did a good job of explaining the process and answering our questions.  Because it was the time of the year it was we were able to schedule the work within a few weeks.  We had to put down a 10% deposit which was reasonable.  When it came to the day before the work was to begin we received a call from the owner saying they were experiencing equipment issues and could not make it to our house to begin the work the next day.  On one hand it was good he called, on the other hand we were counting on a 2 day plan.  Due to impending bad winter weather the next day, the work was delayed another day.  The crew did show up as planned on the third day and went right to work.  While the equipment was noisy the crew was very professional.  They had to jack hammer a trench around the entire interior of the foundation and haul several dozen buckets of dirt and sand up the stairs on day one .  They also had to haul several bags of concrete and buckets of rock down the steps on day two.  THIS IS NOT EASY WORK AND THESE GUYS DESERVE A LOT OF MONEY!!!  The crew was friendly and finished up in the two days as expected.  They did end up placing the sump pump pit in a different place than the plan and as was explained to us by the estimator.  I don't think it will end up being a big deal for us, but for others it could be.  The finish work looks good.  They clean up as much after themselves as I could expect.  Now the real test is how it does controlling our water.  It will be tested in the future because we always have water seepage. There is a lifetime guarantee which is transferable.  All in all it was a good experience and I'm glad we had them do it.

We had water pouring in a section of our basement. Let it go for a long time thinking it would cost a fortune and everyone we talked to kept saying we would need a sump pump. We didn't want a sump pump and when Kory came out he said they would dig down around the foundation and seal it. Job was done very quickly and the recent downpours we have had prove that the job was done well because no leaks. Very happy with the work and now I have my basement back again and no more wet vacs in the middle of the night every time it rains.

we have not had any bad rain to make sure the job worked
only concern i have now is i'm seeing some water leakage at the base of the wall on the floor, will have to keep an eye on it and wait for a rain storm to see what happens

The major was the weather wasn't cooperating so we had to wait a while.  They're polite when they said they were coming.  They cleaned up the mess and so far everything's good.  They were the most inexpensive compared to the other one's.  They were here right on time.  The man was very honest.

It went very well, and they did a great job.  We were very impressed by the crew.  We were, however, a little disappointed that we didn't receive a follow-up call or visit from the owner, who initially made the arrangements for the work.  Other than that, we are completely satisfied with the sump pump installation.

Young man who came was courteous and seemed quite knowledgeable.  Noted that he had seen many cracks of a similiar nature extending from the window to the floor.  He worked quickly.  My only complaint is he did not clean up the area and made no reference to it.  It was not a major job but required about 20-30 minutes.

Absolutely Dry Basement is the best contractor I have hire for our house. The owner of the company was always in contact with us many times letting us know what was going to happen next and made sure we were well informed of the work that was going to be performed. The crew that showed up for the work were very friendly and treated our house as if it were thier own. The floors were very well protected from damaged at all times. If you have not had a basement waterproofed you would be suprised at the labor that goes into it. I have problems getting one full bucket out of my basement let alone 50+ out and 50+ in with no damage to our floors. After the crew left for the day and I returned home I was amazed how clean even the basement floor was. My wife had a hard time even getting a little pile of dirt after sweeping the whole basement. The estimate we were given was the exact price that was paid. Thanks Absolutely Dry Basement great job! I would us them again and again!

We had done all of the prep work ourselves to reduce our cost and to allow the crew to work without obstruction. Kory called 2 days in advance to confirm and to make sure we were ready for them. The first day of the job the Crew showed up on time and began working immediately. They worked while we went to work. I couldn't help but drive past a couple times throughout the day and every time the crew appeared to be busting their a****. On day two it was the same story they only needed half the day to finish up and when they left the basement looked great. There wasn't even a mess for me to cleanup. I waited to write this review until we had a good rain and last night it stormed but our basement stayed dry. I was hesitant to spend the money on waterproofing but knowing that the weekends of pumping water out of my basement are over already makes it worth it.
