.After the service man left there was water dripping down the inside of the unit and the outside through the ice dispenser outlet. After i turned the water supply off i called the repair man and he said i needed a new ice maker! The following is where i have an issue with Accutare Appliance; (1) I was charged $149.92 for the Water Inlet Valve and $89.00 labor. I looked on the internet for a price i would pay for the same part and it was $60 and change! And that's not a wholesale price like the repair man could get from a supplier! (2) The repair man said he'd only charge me $170 for a new Ice Maker and that because he had been out recently wouldn't charge me labor. But when i found out i could buy a new replacement Ice Maker from Amazon for "$36"; and $7 shipping i decided to replace the ice maker myself. The repair man was very nice and seemed to know his business but i feel he charged me and was going to charge me an unscrupulous amount of money. PS, The actual time it took to change out the Water Inlet Valve was 20 minutes. He didn't have that valve on his truck. If he added a charge to the labor to go get that part, it seems unfair.

Better than we ever expected!!!

First of all Herbert is very nice gentalman without a dought. But I felt with the research I did I was charged average of $100 more than I should have been. Here is the brake down he charged. Part $247.00. Service charge $89.00. ( I told him I was a Angie's list member he said that why i am only charging $89 for service) If you feell I am wrong then please google part number Ge 200D2260G011. My cost should have been $236 total or I would have happy if he charged me $275.00. Even this would have been exceptable. I joined Agies list so that I would get some one who is reasonable in cost., but I would have been better off going to Sears. We work hard for our money and these days every penny counts, and we look for someone who is going to help and be reasonable. Once again Herbert was very helpfull in fixeing my refrigerator.

Herbert came when promised. Diagnosed problem was clogged drain line, went to work and completed repair. I could not have been more impressed with Herbert and service work performed!

He was prompt, very friendly and did a great job. He is very professional and I felt very comfortable with him in my home. I had my son stay home so that I was not alone when he came and I told him he could leave as soon as I met Herbert. I have called him on 2 other occasions since this first call for the an issue with my stove and the refrigerator again. He was very polite and prompt in returning my call, even when he was sick. He let me know he was not feeling good and would call me in a few days to let me know when he could come out. The appliance distributor gave him the wrong part but he drove back and got the right one to fix the stove. I will use him again if other issues arise!!

Herbert was here to repair our frig/freezer within 3 hours of my leaving him a message. He was very congenial and pleasant, even at the end of a very busy day. He was quick to rule out the possibilities for the problem, to locate the trouble, and was able to get the unit up and running within 20 min. We will definitely call this company again for any appliance repair!

Herbert was punctual. Originally he could not find a problem when he came out. The dryer did not make the noise when he came out the first time. He took it apart and charged a 50.00 service fee. After he left the dryer made the noise and I let him hear it over the phone. He knew what the problem was after hearing it and came back another day to replace the part and complete the repair.

He was real friendly and knew what he was doing.

Herman was prompt, professional and honest.

I called Herbert to see if he could fit us in on short notice to fix our downdraft stove vent. He was responsive and flexible. He repaired the vent for a reasonable charge in the time commited. He was very courteous and trustworthy. We'll definitely use him from now on.

The technician was really nice and bent over backwards for me. He had to come back after hours to complete the repair. He tried to complete the repair as efficiently and cost effective as possible - which made me feel really good - this did cause him to have to come back three times, but that was due to the methods that I selected to approach the repair to try to control the costs. He did get the repair completed correctly. He gave me the options for the repair, so we were able to try the least expensive options first. He was running late one day, but gave me a call and made sure it was okay with me.

I like that he picked up the phone right away and that he was very accessible. When he found out that he was going to be running late he called to see if that was okay. At all stages, he provided A+ customer service.

The long story is that after my dishwasher broke, I called Electrolux and found out who the authorized Electrolux repair people were in my area. They gave me three names. One is rated an "F" on Angie's list, one is rated a "D" and the third one isn't even listed. Given that Electrolux is a premium brand, I was surprised that they use such horrible repair people. I am sure it is a cost issue, but it isn't a good selling point for them. In any event, in the past when I had a home warranty, the warranty company had sent out repair people that were similar to the Electrolux "authrorized" repair people (one company that they sent was actually on the Electrolux list). I had horrible experiences with these companies - much along the lines of the "F" reviews they get on Angie's list. They were continually late (when they even bothered to show up at all), and they were absolutely incompetent. I swore that I wouldn't put myself through that again. Therefore, when I had this issue with my dishwasher, instead of going with an "authorized" repair person, I decided to just search Angie's list and find the best appliance repair person that I could find, without regard to whether they were "authorized" by Electrolux or not. That's how I found Accurate Appliance. I am glad I did. I've now found the people that I will call from here on out for my appliance repairs. I did not find them to be either cheap or expensive. I think I paid a fair price. But the headaches I saved were very valuable to me, so I came out a winner.

The entire process went smoothly from start to finish.

I reached him when he was in transit to this office and he said he had to go to office but would make me first call. he was within 1/2 hour of the time he said arrive.

He was very helpful. His name was Herbert. He couldn't repair it all on the first visit. We didn't have any problems with him. We didn't compare prices. We were pretty pleased with whom we chose. We would use them again.

Herbert answered our Friday morning call and scheduled an appointment for the same day. He arrived on time and was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He quickly took the oven apart, double checked the glow bar, replaced it, and had it all back together and working in short order. He then started in on the dishwasher, pulling it out from the wall to check the heating element. He ordered the part, and came by 2 business days later to install it. Once again, the installation was efficient and we had our dishwasher working again. We will gladly call him again if we have an appliance in need of repair.

I was out of town on a trip when my wife called late in the evening to say that the refrigerator was not working. We made sure that there was power to the outlet, and then decided we needed to have a service call to have someone come out to fix it. We searched the list, and found Accurate Appliance. Based on the reviews, my wife called Herbert at 8:00 in the morning. Herbert answered immediately, said that he had two other calls for the morning, but because it was a refrigerator and the other calls were dryers, he would come out immediately. Approximately 40 minutes later, he arrived, and immediately diagnosed the problem. He had the appropriate fuse with him, replaced it, and got the refrigerator running. He made sure things were running well before he left. He was extremely professional and courteous in his dealings with us. We absolutely will use Accurate for any large appliance problem we have in the future. This was A+++ service.

I reached Hrbert on my first call and he was able to stop by within 2 hours to diagnose the problem. Spent about 15 minutes determining the cause of the problem. He had to go get the parts and returned the next day around lunch time to complete the repairs. He was pleasant, professional and completed the job within 45 minutes. I am completely satisifed with the work he did and would recommend him to anyone with an appliance that needs fixing.

I called Accurate Appliance at 8:30 in the morning and Herbert was at my home by 9:30am. He new right away what was wrong with both appliances from my descriptions of the problems. He was very professional and cordial and completed the work quickly.

Herbert was professional. He was on-time. He was friendly. He fixed the problem quickly and did not charge an arm and a leg.

Since Herbert had to order a part for the stove, he didn't even charge me for the more-than-hour visit where he took apart the whole stove. He said he'll get the part price and call me back, and if I didn't choose to repair it, he'd just charge me for a service visit. An exemplary example of customer service at its best! Herbert is wonderful. The office staff is extremely courteous and they called when Herbert was on his way.

Our dishwasher would not run even though we could see it was "on". We called Accurate Appliance and asked for a certain serviceman Herbert. Many of the Angie's Lists reports had specifically named him. He talked with me on the phone and told me a couple of things to do that migh get it started and urged me to call back if these suggestions did not work. They did not, and we called back. He came at my convenience the next day and just by listening to the sound he knew that the motor had frozen because we had not been using it as much as we needed to. He was able to adjust something and it was running again less than 5 minute after he walked into our house. Herbert knows what he is doing, and is a very pleasant man. He suggested that we use our dishwasher at least once a week and did not try to sell us a new motor or rack up a large bill. We were only charged the service call, nothing more. We will definitely call this company and Herbert the next time we have an appliance proble and we will recommend him to everyone we know. He is the best.
