Called to request service on a Sunday and expected a delay (due to it beings after hours). It took them 4 hours to get here. My husband and I had sucked up all the water from kitchen, dining room, and living room floor with shop vac before their arrival. They setup several dehumidifiers and fans after drilling holes in the walls, pulling vinyl up in kitchen, pulling carpet and padding up, and left. They came by last the following day to "check things" it was nearly 8pm and they merely walked in and out. They didn't come back again until Wednesday around 4pm. At which time they complained about needing to go under the house (part of their job) and instead of crawling under the house (which wasn't in bad shape and was accessible) insisted on cutting out two full sheets of subfloor out. They took out some insulation from under home and said that was only wet under there. They went back under the house Friday and there was still tons wet. They pulled plumbing loose in master bath and called a plumber that cost me an extra $800 for THEIR mistake. So instead of properly assessing damage on Monday (I understand not doing it Sunday) and pulling all wet insulation, cabinetry, etc so it could dry in a reasonable amount of time they waited (knowing we were having to live in the home during this time with temperatures of 105 from equipment, a huge hole in the floor, and two young children under the age of 5). They charge per day per piece of equipment so, they were "milking" it!!! I was told numerous times they were waited for insurance adjusters approval to do things and called adjuster (who was very easy to contact and quick to respond) and asked on speaker what needed to happen to clear up confusion. Adjuster told them and myself we hired them and there was no reason to contact him for anything the claim was between ins. Co. And policyholders. After the job was completed and bill was received I called to setup payments until insurance claim was processed. Initial payment of $1500.00 2 days after receiving bill was made. The following day I started receiving harassing calls from their office saying I had agreed to make another payment of $2000.00 the next day and the remaining balance the following day. Their story changed 3-4 times each call. Those were not the arrangements! As I am sure most people would agree if I knew I would have the money within 2-3 days I would've just waited until the end of the week and paid in full. Also, I didn't request payment arrangements they were offered when I called to ask a question about the bill.
Description of Work: Provided drying services after water damage from busted pipe.
