We called Mr. Doster after the "plumber" sent out by our home warranty screwed up and left everything worse than before. Mr. Doster was on time, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He fixed everything we asked, showed me how he did everything, and finished the work quickly. We were extremely satisfied and will recommend him to friends and call him again ourselves.

I previously submitted a report on Dan Doster and I gave him a good report. Even though he quoted me $85 to fix all three of my very small projects, once he finished he told me he did more work on the toilet tank than he quoted me and I now owed him $185 due to the cost of parts, he said the charge for labor was $60. When he showed me what he had done he replaced the entire fixture. He told me that he had to do the extra work in order to fix the small part I needed fixed. Even though I did not appreciate the fact that he did extra work increasing the cost of repairs $100 without asking me. I figured he was being honest so I paid him without any question. However, I recently had another plastic float inside a different toilet tank in my house break. I went to Home Depot to see if I could do it myself. I found out that not only was it not necessary for Dan Doster to replace the entire fixture, but the part cost less than $10. Needless to say I am changing my report on Doster & Company.

Dan was very easy to work with on this project. He provided quotes on the phone. He arrived on time and worked in a professional manner. Work was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. He was careful to not make a mess inside the premises and cleaned up as each job was completed.

Contacted Dan on a Monday and we scheduled it for the following Wednesday. On Tuesday he called me and said if we could reschedule it for Monday next week as he had gotten caught up in some other work. It was fine with me. He showed up Monday at the time promised and quickly got to work installing the filter. He had to reroute a whole lot of copper pipes and install 10 new fitting, which probably took 2 hours in total. After Dan had left, I noticed a small dripping from the filter. Mostly because the filter was made with plastic fittings, which is crap, so nothing to do with the quality of Dan's work. I contacted Dan again and left a message, but before he was able to call back, I had gotten the plastic fittings tightened and the leak stopped. I would definitely use Doster and Company again, the value for money was amazing, at a "Mr. Plumber" business I would probably have had to pay at least double the amount.

They gave me a quote over the phone. I'm not sure how they could give me a quote without coming out to the house to see what work needed to be done.

Mr. Doster arrived a bit early, assessed the toilet and assured me it did not need replacing, located the problem quite quickly, and repaired it and another toilet that had been backing up but presently seemed okay (it wasn't). He then took some time to explain how I could remove the mold in my hall and bathrooms, and what I should do to prevent its return. Next he looked at all my lighting fixtures, removed corrosion from several of them, and replaced several hard to reach light bulbs. The toilet repair did not hold, so he returned a few days later to try another solution, which has worked!

The initial phone call with Dan was pleasant, as he shared sincere concern for our electrical problems. He did the work promptly and fixed a gas leak that was unknown to us.

I am happy to report that all ended well. Dan was a super person and really made the process easy. My family will be moving this year to a new home and Dan will definitely be the first person we think of to help us with any needs in our new home.

After my kitchen sink was stopped up without being able to be ''rootered out'', I called and left message on a Friday afternoon and was called back within a few hours. Mr. Doster set up a time to come out Tuesday. He came out, however, the next day, Saturday, to evaluate the problem and returned to do the work on Monday.

Dan came at the appointed time and did the work well.

He would not tell me how much he charged by the hour or job when he was here, and refused to give me a bill before he left. He still has not shown me the receipts from home depot for parts, and seemingly has charged and exorbitant amount for the work he did do. It took him six hours to do work that seemingly could be done in 2. The two bath stoppers he installed, both do not work, and the insulation he put on the window has since come off, I had to have a neighbor help me put it back on.

I had called for a last minute schedule on a project I gave up on. Dan showed up within a few hours and completed the job immediately. I am already planning on having him complete more work down the road

He was very responsive in calling me back and was able to quickly come out and do the work. He also provided me some insight on other items that I should consider fixing in the near future which I thought helpful.

On time. Polite and professional. Did a thorough job.

I'd just purchased a foreclosed home, so I had a short list of things that I knew needed to be done, but mostly I planned to just soldier on and diagnose things by what started smoking or exploded. Mr. Doster gave me a rundown on what was a necessity, a priority, and a luxury for what to fix. I mostly chose to fix the necessities and he was able to fix it all. I am thrilled.

Dan Doster told us he would get us an estimate in a day or so. Weeks later no word from him. If this is how he treats customers at the beginning, I would be afraid of how he would treat me once the job was underway and trying to get completed. I'm not going to call him and prod him; if this job is that not important to him, he could have at least declined the work.

They told me that they were too busy to help me, but they were nice about it.

Dan Doster was very friendly and on time. He came out on three ocassions and did not charge a service charge. I am satisfied with his work.

Dan, the owner, was a delight to work with and very accommodating. I was unaware that I even needed a plumber to disconnect the kitchen plumbing until the afternoon before it needed to be done. Doster and Company to the rescue! At the time, I had no idea of just how accommodating Dan was being. He disconnected the plumbing and when he returned to reconnect and install the new sink, etc, he finished about an hour before he had to report to the hospital for an appointment he had for surgery!

He showed up a couple of days late, but their workmanship was really good. They repaired brick front steps and did a great job. The cleanup wasn't as good as it should've been, but when I brought it to their attention, they came back and made it satisfactory. I would recommend them to anyone!

THE MAIN GUY IS EXTREMELY EASY TO DEAL WITH, AND APPEARS TO KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT. THE HELPERS WERE EASY TO BE AROUND. I DIDN'T COMPARISON SHOP, AND IT SEEMED THAT BIG JOBS WERE REASONABLE, BUT THE LITTLE JOBS ADDED UP TO MORE THAN I EXPECTED.

WE HAD ANOTHER PLUMBER COME OUT, AND HE SAID IT WAS NOT REPAIRABLE. I LIKED THAT WHEN YOU CALL THEY SET UP A TIME TO COME. THEY GIVE YOU AN EXACT TIME FRAME. HE SETS ASIDE A HALF DAY FOR YOUR JOB. HE SEEMS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.

We realized we had a leak in our underground plumbing, resulting in an outrageous water bill. Daniel Doster, owner of this company, went to great lengths to explain what the problem was and how he planned on fixing it. He communicated via phone and emails, and was always prompt in getting back with me. Daniel was able to schedule a day sooner than we'd expected, and completed the job in 1 day.

I am not happy with the service as he stated that the job would only be $85. The the final bill was $135. He tried to state that the $85 was only the service charge. He was only here for 15 minutes!! And the screen on the drain is already coming off and not sticking. We are waiting for him to return to repair the screen. I was very unhappy with the service.

There was an initial communication problem between the office and Daniel Doster regarding the appointment time. But when it was discovered, Daniel called to apologize and got right on the job. He and his crew worked fast (at one time there were five people on this small job),were courteous, clean about their work, and were professional. I thought the cost was reasonable.
