Dan reviewed each item I asked of him with great professionalism and found each to be in good working order. He took great care to explain how each complied with code and by the end of the his visit had me confident the house was ready. Would not hesitate to call him again.

Can't say enough good about this company. Bill did the work. He was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, quick and explained everything to me. He let me review his work before reinstalling the dishwasher. He made suggestions on how to avoid future problems. I had very high expectations due to all the A ratings on here. Bill and Epie's FAR exceeded my expectations. He even left the work area cleaner than when he arrived!! They will be coming back to do chimney work for me and drywall work after that... Then anything else I can find to be repaired. If you live within 10 miles of Tucker call Dan for all your handyman work / repairs. You will be very happy!

Dan Doster, owner of Epie's Handyman took our call & sent his plumber Ed Bartline of Bartline Plumbing Services.The plumber arrived as promised at 10:00AM. So knowledgeable. He got right to the worst problem the basement. His diagnosis was a full blockage from the out pipe going from the house to the septic tank, He brought in his equipment & had it opened ASAP. The Master BR sink repaired beautifully. Trouble is I have a cheap sink with poor air exchange. He repaired it but explained it will never be rapid draining, but will do as well as it can. Dan Doister and Ed Bartline will return next week at our request to do a complete workup of the drain line going from home to septic tank. This visit was an emergency visit and they gave us an estimate of the total cost of the work, $600.00.

It took two calls to get Dan to contact me then he was 1 hour late arriving. I thought he was going to begin work but only looked at the job and left promising to contact us back. He did not. I left two message for him but have yet to hear from him. Not sure what happened but it put me 10 days behind on my project.

We were very pleased with Dan's professionalism, skill and humor. He saved us a lot of money by his recommendations and the work that he performed was top notch.

Good estimate telephone call.Not a 4 hour window - gave exact time of arrival.Was 30 min late for exact time of appointment but called to let me know in advance - no problem and I appreciated the call.Older primary worker, younger assistant - good team.Came in - evaluated the job - did the job - and left (which was good because I had other things to get to). They did the job quickly and efficiently. The pipe repair worked perfectly.Overall very good experience - from my initial call to job completed less than 24 hours. Now that I think about it, he also installed a plastic panel onto wall (which I provided) at no additional charge. (not in original estimate, thanks!)

We have a rental property, and are definitely not 'handy', so we rely on outside resources to fix the bits and pieces that go wrong quickly, to keep our tenants signed and happy. Week before last we got a call about some water leakage at our rental. Dan, from Epie's Handyman, had identified the potential problem on his last visit out there for something else, but we were waiting for the tenants to re-sign the lease before we fixed it. We got a signed lease, called Dan, and that week he was out there with a shiny new tank, finished the job and we have happy tenants. Then.. last week... we saw horrible brown water in the bath! Dan came by one evening (well after hours) to take a look. You guessed it... a new water tank was needed. He was able to take care of it the very next day. I'd worked with Dan to fix things at our rental property and it was so great to meet him in person. We will be very sure to call him for anything in the future....Great service, personable, animal lover (just like us) courteous and and all around nice guy. Highly recommended.

Dan provided excellent service. He was easy to contact and provided an accurate estimate. On the day of the work he showed up on time, sized up the work that I described over email/phone, and called me with his opinion. After a brief run for supplies he was back and had the job completed within a much quicker time-frame than I anticipated. I couldn't be happier with his service.

I called & was given Mark Houck's phone number. I call and when he returned my call and I told him the problem he knew immediately the problem. He told me how to get my electric oven working by turning a knob. He saved me the service call. I am very grateful for this service. I would definitely use him again.

I called Epie's and told Don Doster my faucet was leaking and thought it needed replacing. He informed me to purchase the faucet and he would come and replace it. He called to tell me he would be about 15 minutes late. We purchased the faucet and he came and replaced the new faucet. It was a challenge, because the old one had rusty screws, but he never complained . He just keep at it until he got the job done. He told me afterwards about the screw. He gave me an estimate on another job that needs to be done. We will use him again.

The owner very promptly came to look at our remodeling needs after making initial contact. He was very friendly. We needed some of everything: windows, a new roof and gutters, complete kitchen remodel, rewiring, plumbing fixes, and more. Some of the work we needed done was beyond the scope of his business. He kindly provided us with references for the kitchen remodel and roofing work. He sent his complete estimate within a day and the price was fair. In the end, as a matter of convenience for us, we decided to have the kitchen remodeler he suggested do all the work for us, rather than dividing the work among them. We will definitely contact him again in the future when the work we need done fits nicely into the Handyman category.

Excellent, thoughtful service at a fair price. I have a lot of confidence in this small company and the work they do.

The plumber did not come out for an estimate. He thought he knew the parts he needed to order. Fortunately, I was also in contact with the manufacturer. It turns out that the parts that the plumber ordered were not correct. I was able to order the correct parts and had them in three days. EPIE's arrived on time. They started by taking off the wrong part but with the help of the manufacturer they were able to reinstall that part and install the correct part. Shower functions well. The recirculating pump was installed in a short time and works great. Hot water in the master bath right away. They went over the programming details with me on the timer. Like most things now days it's better if the owner stays involved and helps out if needed.

I use him all the time. I have a comfort level at this point with him that I own a couple of rental properties so I just call him up and ask him to go take a look. He just fixes them and sends me the bill. I've used him for a bunch of different things. From a couple of different reviews that I read of him, I guess some people have claimed that he's a little more expensive. May be he is, I don't know but I think for his expertise and quality of work in my opinion is a fair price. I trust him enough to have him go and make repairs as he sees it and without me actually going and questioning his judgment.

We called him to have some electrical work done on our dryer. He sent someone out to us. He couldn’t work on the appliance himself, so he sent us another person that he works with. That person was really great, and he didn’t charge us an arm and a leg. The other people that we called didn’t want to work on it, but he did, and he fixed it for us. We will be calling him again.

He was by the most reasonable price of the three that I got quoted for the project. I decided to go with him because he had such a great reviews from other people and I thought I wouldn't go wrong. He did a fantastic job and I would certainly hire him again. I was really please that he took his time to make sure everything was nice and neat. I was very happy with his service.

Dan arrived on time and promptly went to work, listening to my areas of concern and taking notes of potential repair/replacement items. Since I specifically was concerned about hidden costs of repairing work previously done by a contractor, he took notes and made recommendations as we went through each room. All of the recommendations made sense and seemed logical. The walk-though started at 11:30am and lasted approximately 1.5 hours. I was promised a written report by the end of the day. After 5:00pm, I sent email asking for an update when I had not received the report. At 9:00 pm I received a reply stating "I was out working late and am now just in the office. I'll have it in your in box before 9AM." I assumed this to mean the next morning however I did not receive the report until 4:30PM. I was also disappointed when I asked if the $125 service fee could be applied to another property in the event this sale did not go through and was told no, since I had been previously been told via email that the "Cost is $125 and would go toward any major work to be done." I would consider Epie's Handyman for future projects but only if all such work and associated costs were agreed to in writing before the work started. Dan was knowledgeable and professional. I would trust his recommendations.

I would not hesitate to call these nice folks again. If they don't feel like they're right for your job they will tell you, then help you find the right person. How rare is that?

Dan, the owner of Epie's Handyman, called to say that traffic was bad and that he would arrive in 15 minutes which he did. Dan reviewed the project and and suggested that the panel should be grounded and quoted me a price. He said that the work could be done on Saturday at 2 pm. Steve and Tony called Saturday afternoon and would be arriving early which was fine with me. They reviewed what was to done, made a parts list, went to Home Depot and returned. They drove two grounding rods, installed the 100 amp service, and connected the three way switch in a little over two hours. They answered all my questions, and were very professional. The area where they were working was cleaner than it was before they started.
