Epie's Electric Services

They have worked out very nicely. Either he does it himself or he hires other people to do it. So far so good. They have done a lot of little things and it has just been nice having somebody who can manage to do almost everything. They are nice people and we feel very comfortable having them around the house, and so far they've done a good job whenever we've asked them to do something. A couple of times I had little problems that I had no idea how they could fix it, but they came up with a way to fix them. So he has been a real handyman.

Everything was great. Philip showed up time, did an excellent job and we will definitely use them again.

I explained that I wanted a code inspection and Mr. Cooper and his father took care of that for me. This insured that the quality of the work would meet all county standards. The trenching was done and the line was run to my hot tub; around 75 feet. Mr. Cooper then used the proper 6 gauge of wire to connect my hot tub to a quick disconnect. He then called me when the county inspector was on the way the Monday after the installation. The county inspector all boxes and checked the depth of the trench, the quality of the wire, and the internal connection to the hot tub motor; he commended the job done by Mr. Cooper. As expected I closed the trench and completed the lawn repairs with shod and seed. When his father returned to close out this transaction he completed it for the exact amount of the estimate. These are good people who do quality work.

I called and left a message to discuss getting quotes for multiple repairs in our house. My call was promptly returned with a very nice message, (I missed the call), but we had to put the work on hold for now. Will definitely call back when we're ready to get repairs done.

Old electrical panel did not have any room for additional circuits that would be needed for future kitchen remodel. Phil and Paul took about 3 hours for the whole job, labeled all the circuits, and cleaned up when they left. They checked that the breaker sizes matched the wire sizes and found one circuit (for the AC system) had an oversized breaker that appeared to be original to the house.

My only real complaint would be that they did not really clean up after themselves. I had to sweep up after everything was done and I feel my bathroom mirrors, esp. the large one, should have been cleaned after the prepping was completed. They were obviously dirty and water stained. It took me a little while to get them completely cleaned. All 'n all, I am happy with all the work Epie's did and feel they were good to work with and deal with. I feel they gave me good estimates and stuck to the price I was given. I do plan on using them again for other work as it comes up.

Dan and Josh arrived at 9:30am and went to work. They were courteous and professional and completed everything on the list without incident. They even threw in an extra outlet box - no charge! I've hired electricians in the past and they were either exorbitantly expensive or incompetent. Epie's is neither! I will definitely use them again.

I was very impressed with Epie's. They provided me with detailed information on the phone and followed through on the visit. They even called to see if the technician could arrive a little earlier than expected. The tech was professional, made a few suggestions on the job I was having done and took care of the installation efficiently. He also did a nice job of cleaning up the mess with his own broom and trash bag. I was also able to use the discount coupon mentioned on Angie's website. I will definitely call on them again for estimates and services.

Dan responded to my call quickly and scheduled a time convenient for my schedule and arrived on time. I had been working with another contractor who just abandoned the job and didn't do a good job. Dan finished the job and the quality of his work is great. He is a true professional and I will contact him soon for another job. I highly recommend him

EXCELLENT WORK, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This was an impromptu job, one that needed doing pretty quickly. Epie's did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it. Workmanship results indicate long time experience in executing such complex job. They also kept me apprised every step of the job, they cleaned up the work areas as if they weren't even here. Telephone inquiries were responded to promptly and professionally. I will be retaining hem again for other work that needs to be done around my home. I highly recommend this provider!

I called to ask for an estimate. Without visiting our house, Epie's provided an estimate via email. Because we didn't think the estimate was accurate without seeing the work needed, we asked them to visit the house. Dan came to the house to see the bathroom and sunroom that needed work. It took a couple of days to get the emailed estimate. We asked them to perform the work, and scheduled the work for about a week later. It took several hours over a few days for Epie's to finish the job. Their painter came out the next weekday to paint. The bathroom tile and sunroom trim look great, very polished and new. Dan, Jesse, Josh, and painter Jim were all very pleasant and professional.

I had just three outlets on a line that did not work. They had NOT tripped the circuit breakers. A puzzlement. The gentleman found a wire connection in the ceiling (thankfully acoustical tile in the basement!) that was lose and he fixed it. Problem solved. I considered it $125 well spent!

Home looted and china cabinet dishes stored under the glass doors were packed with plastic to grab and run with. I got the shakedown routine with orders to pay in full before the job was finished threatened with workers lien. I paid, I complained to the prime contractor for electrical to finish and proper dry wall repair, and it was done under close supervision by me. I didn't want them in my home for the finish painting, I wanted them out. I thought I had the skills to deal with second and third contractors but this one came out of the blue. A local was going to do a job. There was a lot of computer dates appointments set up, but turned out not to have a valid address in Stone Mountain and never showed up on the agreed appointment time. I didn't revisit the issue. Good, Bad and Ugly; That's my experience. Would I ask for work again, maybe. My Taxes this year was not devastating but I can't dismiss the concern for next year. Chimney sweep, gutter clean work vendors too far away to be effective in my zip code area. I need siding repairs and paint touch-up but I can't trust workers that I have had some experience with. I have to be very careful to make sure I am dealing with the prime party and not with sub-contractors working for a cash man sub working for the repair company. I have plenty of jobs to have done, but I can't risk unethical work practice to run rough shod over me. Don't get Epies fine work

Really good scheduling and follow-up... excellent. Professional and friendly and would definitely use them again.

The job was completed to my satisfaction. There were some minor problems with installing the outlet, but Dan called in another electrician who was able to complete the work two days later.

I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with the team at Epie's. We had a project that involved complicated scheduling among multiple parties and Epie's was helpful and flexible with establishing the work date. They were professional, very responsive and the craftsmanship of their work was exceptional. This company was a pleasure to work with and their work was a great value.

Epie's repair service was fast and very reasonably priced. The technicians were very nice and courteous. Overall I was very happy with their service and would definately recommend them for anyone who needs electrical work done.

It's been too long ago, and I do not wish to revisit this time.

The company returned our initial call promptly. They gave us a general estimate over the phone, came out the next day (arrived exactly on time) and did the work as described. Good job!

From start to finish it was excellent. He was on time and under budget. If I owned a house where he serviced I would definitely use him again.

I was hoping to get a new kitchen faucet installed before Christmas. Jessie returned my call quickly and set up my appointment for the next morning. Gave me an accurate estimate of cost. He also called the next day to let me know that Dan was running a little behind schedule. Dan arrived and installed the faucet within an hour - very friendly and professional. He even reminded me about the $15 Angie List discount. I will definitely use his services again!

.I wasn't impress with their level of service.

They provided an appointment that fit my schedule and arrived promptly. The sink was very old and the drain had rusted out so the movement of getting the faucent out caused the drain to shatter. They fixed both items form me quickly and for a fair price,

When Jim and Kenny introduce themselves, their mannerism was superb. They were very clean gentleman. They painted my foyer, up the stairway, my living room and 1/2 bath in two days. When the job was completed, they cleaned up everything, there was not a speck of paint anywhere.

Unfortunately this was my second attempt in 1 yr to deal with this company and both times they did not perform any services. The first time they did not get back with me to start working on repairs I wanted, but that was due to an illness in his family so I removed my negative review. This second time I called and they made an appointment to come by my home the following week to go over what I wanted to have done, and 2 hours before the appointment I received a message that it was raining and do they still want me to have them come by? I called back and said, yes, that most of the work is inside and I could point out on the outside the couple of areas I needed repaired. The guy showed up and was very nice and said they would be getting back with me with the cost. And here we go again, no call or e-mail. I called Dan, the owner, 2 days later and he said the 1st day he received the information from his employee it was late in the day and the next day he had CHOIR rehearsal and could not get back with me. I told him I am never going to contact his company again and I waited a week before I wrote this review so I could calm down and give some serious thought as to why a professional company would keep on using excuses for not contacting a potential client and I could not think of anything so this is my negative review of this company and this time I am not removing it.
