Allgood Plumbing Electric Heating & Cooling

I received a visit from Clay with Allgood Plumbling to discuss the installation of a sewer "clean-out" in the backyard. The house was built in the late 70's when clean-outs (which allow plumbers to more easily and safely address clogged sewer lines) were apparently not part of the plumbing code. Clay was extremely prompt and professional, and the estimated cost seemed fair. Allgood should feel extremely fortunate to have him representing the company. We ultimately found another way to address the issue, so we didn't hire anyone for this project. However, Allgood will be at the top of my list for any future plumbing needs.

They were great. They respond quickly, they are prompt and if they are running behind they will call to let you know, they're very professional and very courteous. They are last here last week and their price was reasonable.

It worked out fine. Nothing necessarily stood out about their services overall. The price was a little bit high.

A colossal failure! DAY 1 Allgood's Jim and helper arrived a few minutes late and worked about 4 hours set the floor of the shower unit in place gouging the newly installed hardy board in the process. They replaced the outside faucet but did not secure it to the wall. Jim asked asked for a $900.00 payment (I have cancelled check). Jim said he thought there was more to the project and wasn't sure how to precede with installing the shower walls. I gave him a copy of the instructions to take with him that so he could figure it out. He came back the next morning confident he do the job. DAY 2 Returned with helper to continue work. Eight hours later he took a break and came back with his son to attempt to complete the project more damage to the hardy board and we cant finish you need to redo the wall and call us to come back. I did not call them to come back and never will I took the $900.00 payment in a lesson not to allow another Allgood employee in our house and to always get a written contract. FYI I had hired Allgood based on Angies List recommendations and wanting the job to be done by professionals. My wife and I finished the project in about 12 hours.

I discovered a leak in a sewage pipe in a fortunately unfinished part of my basement. I immediately came to Angie's List to find a plumber. I searched for plumbers with an A grade and both Super Service Award and Page of Happiness. Allgood Plumbing and Electric was the first provider that would come that same day. Tammi O. in customer service was very pleasant and reassuring. At 1:20PM she said she could have someone to me between 2 and 6PM. I almost immediately got a call back from Gareth E. saying that he was on his way. The leak was coming from a 33 year old cast iron pipe. Since we could see water dripping for the length of the pipe but could not see an obvious hole, Gareth suggested we needed to replace the entire pipe. He gave me estimates for doing the one pipe and for doing all the cast iron pipes in the unfinished basement. I am so glad that I found Allgood Plumbing and Electric. Everyone was pleasant and professional and job was very well done. Gareth even went so far as to do the first pass of cleaning the floor and gave me suggestions for the remaining passes. I would recommend Allgood to anyone!

Very nice and careful. but didn't have washers on truck so they drove to Home Depot at my expense to buy one. Their work was fine but I found the price to be excessive for 2 simple and quick tasks.

Their work was very good. Thier inital price was almost 3400 but negotiated it down to 2500. I still don't feel like I got a good deal but the work was done to my satisfaction.

I had a broken toilet in our guest bathroom, and the service technician did a great job of replacing it. My main sewer line is in the basement and I have had a few problems in the past with tree branches actually growing into the line, and therefore causing an overflow. While the Allgood technician was there, I asked him to check the sewer line. He told me there was a huge branch that was going to cause a basement flood. He wanted to show me the issue I would have to make a decision on with his special camera. There was no doubt that I needed to move forward. I didn't need our technician to do a minimal clearing of the line, that you get with Roto-Reuter, but to blast ALL the debris out of that line. Our technician ran into some tricky problems along the way. But he was so resourceful and clearly thought "out of the box" so he could blast the line clean with a special machine he had. He was absolutely the best!!

Jim Malloy was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. He came on Friday to give an estimate and completed the work on Saturday. He worked quickly and efficiently.

No surprises...punctual, excellent communication, presented options.

Would strongly recommend Allgood Electrical. Andrew showed up exactly on time. They called one hour prior to arrival to confirm appointment. Discussed pricing right up front and fully explained scope of work. Gave me two options. One was much lower in price but would have only resolved the problem in the short term. The other was a permanent, safer, fix.

I thought it was way too expensive for the services rendered. One technician arrived for the work and he was able to complete the job very quickly. Their quality and professionalism was good. They are knowledgeable, know what they are doing, and do it right. However, the price was outrageous. I could have gotten any number of other plumbers in the community to come out for a minimum service charge to do the same work. I will not use them again. The only issue I had with the whole project was the price.

Very responsive and professional when I called on coldest day of the year when there were many frozen pipes in area. Plumber made it out within window promised and was extremely nice. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do to help with our frozen pipes. I still had to pay the $75 service call fee, but was told it could come off repair services later (it was assumed our pipes would burst after thawing). I couldn't use the Angie's List coupon on the service fee but was told I could wait to use it on the actual repairs. Maybe I'd just been too frazzled to notice if it was mentioned when I looked on their website before calling, but the $75 service fee caught me by surprise. I thought the visit would have been considered part of a free estimate or that the service fee should have at least been mentioned when I called to make the appointment. Thankfully the pipes didn't freeze when they thawed. Since I never actually had to call them back out for any repairs, I cannot honestly review their repair work or prices at this time.

Awesome service. We started with Andrew Fagan the electrician, and he was he most of the day. He was very professional, and we set our issues to be repaired into 2 phases. Phase one was completed and in the process we uncovered the prior owner's "do-it-himself" not safe and no ware near code work throughout our home which were hidden from the initial new home inspector. Phase 2 will be completed upon the arrival of some special order fixtures to replace almost 30 year old currently in our home. Plumbing is on hold awaiting the receipt of fixtures and our decision to replace very old water heater with either a new tank, or a tankless version. Hopefully that will be completed by the end of January.

James N. was my plumber, and he did a great job. He thoroughly explained the issues that needed fixing and showed me where the problems were. He was polite and professional. I was very pleased with the service I received.

Knowing nothing at all about plumbing, they could have taken me to the cleaners, What I got was an extremely honest evaluation of my repair needs and it turn out to be something simple that I could do myself. The tech also check the condition of my water heater and other various simi - concerns. All covered by the $39.99 I was quoted. I can't say enough of just how honest these guys and professional these guys are. If I spring a leak, this is who I'm calling.

It was a good experience. They worked well for the money I paid. They cleaned up after themselves. I paid enough for the service.

I needed 2 P-traps installed, sink drain (i supplied) and faucet (i supplied).....disposal was existing and already hooked up and only needed to be put in place once drain was installed. All connections were ready for installation for faucet other than dropping into hole and tightening down. This couldn't have taken the guy more than 45 minutes to install and wanted $670.31....once i was given the quote i asked why it was so expensive and he just said this is what all companies charged. I thanked him for coming out and told him i would not be using their services. He then told me i owed either $39 or $49 dollars for coming out to give an estimate...i refused to pay that also beings as i was not told that was part of the deal when i called in to request an estimate. After the plumber left i went to Home Depot and bought $18 worth of supplies and did it my self in 1.5 hours....Complete ripoff!!!

I used them one other time and their service was very good. When my power vent water heater went, I called them to see what the problem was. At the time I had never heard of a power vent water heater but apparently they are more effective and guess what more expensive. They did a cost analysis of replacing the current power vent water heater and another electric water heater that was pretty long in the tooth. Their analysis was that my best option was to replace both water heaters with a tankless. At first I was appalled at the price but when I checked it out with other competitors and friends the end conclusion was tankless was the way to go. It cost a bunch but the end product is instant hot water and endless hot water that I am pretty sure will repay for itself in about three years.

It took two days and we had to call them back because it didn't last very long. We have an overflow of kit come to the household. We wasted money just trying to fix it. They came out with one of those roto rooter type thing. He came out the next day and he was really persistent. Apparently, we had no more problem since. I like the fact that he came out and he was willing to get the job done.

Technician James N responded quickly after my initial telephone call, and was at my home within 90 minutes. He had to go get a replacement part, but was back within 1/2 hour, and had the job complete within 30 minutes after that. Very professional and helpful.

Nothing much to say, he performed the work necessary to replace the Water Heater. Since I work from home, I came back in the house and left him alone. took him about two hours.

It went quite well. He could make really feel hot in here for us. Actually, we went to Casco. It was about 3 weeks ago, 50 down a meter after rebate, everything, probably, around $800. They came in, did the job and cared everything, and they were gone. Everything works like a champ, then, no problem. Well, for us, we do our work fine, how do I have change another’s listings for we did not for the same companies, so, I am not really sure. It is all to the top. The price is average. They did a good job.They were a little bit late because they did not tell that they were running late. They brought in any inconvenience for us. Sensually, when he copied my full casco memories of card down, he got the members wrong. And he also got the numbers wrong on my credit cards.He did not have to call back in 2 different cage and to get in the correct numbers.
