We were hearing a loud whistling/squealing noise every time we used the water in our house. In addition the upstairs tub faucet was leaking so badly it pretty much was running at all times. Overall I was very pleased with Allgood plumbing. They were able to schedule an appointment for the next day when I called. They gave me a 30 minute warning call before they arrived-and the technician arrived right on time. James N was the technician and he did a great job thoroughly explaining the reason for the noise we were hearing and also the potential complications to repairing both jobs on our home, built in 1977. He answered all my questions and gave me the price before he started work. Also he gave me the highest price if he did in fact need to replace the entire faucet in the tub rather than just repair. In the end he did the job quickly and without any of the complications that he warned me about-which saved me the cost of replacing the faucet. He replaced the pressure reducing valve without problem as well. In the end he checked my water water meter to confirm it was not running and all leaks had been repaired. That went a long way for my peace of mind. I will only be using Allgood plumbing from now on. Both jobs took only an hour and a half which minimized the duration of our water being turned off. The expertise and professionalism is worth the price.

Allgood, and Ken Bennett, we wonderful! We made the emergency call to Allgood, and Ken came to the house shortly after the call. We had never used this company before, so it wasn't like they knew us as a returning customer. From the beginning, Ken, was courteous and thorough. Ken used the camera in our sewer pipe and located the problem as roots breaking through the piping. We were still able to use our water and flushing of the toilets, so the crew began the next morning to fix our problem. We will definitely call Allgood for all of our plumbing needs. We have not used them for the electrical side of the business, but we will not hesitate to do so. Allgood is a very professional and respectful company.

They showed up on time and were able to very quickly do the work. He did a very good job of not getting the floor dirty or wet and cleaned up afterwards.

I had a contractor who was supposed to do a great deal of plumbing before our 50th wedding anniversary. He had already been paid a good part of the money. I called AllGood three days before I needed it done. I knew there would be no way to get anyone to the house to look at the job, let alone take care of our needs. They were there the next morning gave an actual cost of what the job would be and started within an hour! No talk like "well I don't know how much time this will take." or "I have to go back and figure this all up and let you know what my estimate will be but it might not be that if it is more than that." This company has it down to a real science. They tell you what they are going to do, how much it is going to cost and they do it ... NO SURPRISES! It is stunning to me that they not only responded but they did ALL the work in two days! Their prices were very reasonable and their technician Doug was beyond nice. It is remarkable in this day of age of waiting endlessly to get someone on the phone, to have people not show up when they say they are going to, when people act like they don't really want your business just your money without providing the service that there is still one company that acts like a service company from first call to finished job. Some company that is actually there to Determine the CUSTOMERS needs and satisfy those needs. This company is a gem! I would highly recommend them to anyone without reservation.

Called Allgood the night before to see if someone could come out to my rental property and replace the water heater. I asked for a quote and estimated service fee over the phone. They told me no service fee to come out and inspect. They repairman showed up on time and was respectful of my tenants in the house. He stayed for 2 hours to make sure that replacement was the only repair. He called me and talked to me about everything with the repair and answered all my questions. The work was completed on time and for the cost that was advertised. They had hot water back to my tenants that same day.

WOW! I called and was greeted by Tammi, who was polite, professional and eager to help. I needed a water heater inspection for a house closing ASAP. She looked at the schedule and was able to offer me a same-day appointment (I was not expecting this!). The dispatcher called to tell me the approximate arrival time, and when Doug showed up, he had a big smile on his face and was also eager to help. The inspection was quick and thorough, which was greatly appreciated because I needed to get back to work. Doug checked me out on his iPad - scanned my card, I signed with my finger, and he emailed me a receipt (they are a paperless organization). I would HIGHLY recommend Allgood and I will absolutely use them in the future!

I required a shower valve replacement. It was leaking in the wall. I was in a pinch - called just after they opened for same day service. Jared provided great service. Clearly explained what he was going to do and provided some plumbing tips after the job. My only beef with Allgood is the price. My price was $800. The hardware cost was approximately $50. With a 100% markup and 1.5 hours of labor, that puts the labor rate at approximately $400/hr. In my experience, that type of rate for craft labor is exorbitant. I probably won't use Allgood again unless I'm able to bid the work with multiple companies and they are the low price bidder.

We needed a water heater leak fixed on a Saturday and AllGood replied quickly to my call and were able to send someone out within a few hours--Sabrina was a very friendly and helpful customer service rep. Ken was great and I loved the fact that all of the pricing was detailed on his ipad so there was no confusion on what needed to be done and what the price would be. He explained exactly what needed to be fixed, got the job done quickly and even improved the situation a bit so we wouldn't have leaks in the future if anything goes wrong. I would definitely recommend.

Great service and fast installation! I needed a new water heater and garbage disposal. the former was born in the late 80's and was getting a little long in the tooth. The latter had decided to fall unceremoniously out the of the sink and flood the cabinet. John and Jonathon were there on time and in a great mood. They quickly had me set up with a new water heater and disposal. Great job!

All went well and everything is dry! We are pleased and will call them for future plumbing problems.

They did a good job. It is reasonable and they were fine. They were thorough in their plumbing installation. They plumber that they sent out was well mannered.

As a whole the Plumber was courteous and polite. The work done was simple and done well. As it was also above my pool table, I personally placed a pad and tarp over the table and told him it would be OK to stand on. However, the pipe in question was in the drop ceiling in the basement, and in the process of draining the supply line, he did not remove enough of the tiles to prevent water from leaking on them. As a result two tiles received water damage that will lead to staining. Anyone who has worked with ceiling tiles know once they get wet they become mushy, easily broken, and will stain. At the end of the job when putting these tile back he broke the corner on one of the wet tiles and simply put the piece in with the tile and did not mention it to me. Additionally a large amount of water was also drained onto the carpet in the basement as well. He did clean up debris and work scraps and wiped up the water that was on the Tarp over my pool table. As a whole the price was a little high even after using the Angie's List coupon. However I don't mind paying more for quality work. However, I don't feel the less than two hours spent and the amount paid, he could have taken more time to prep the work space before beginning. I did not discuss any of this with the plumber on hand, and have not contacted the company to correct. I will replace the ceiling tile and dry the carpet. I think a little more pride in good work is required.

We called James N. in for a repair of our kitchen sink. He listened to my issue with the faucet and then looked at it thoroughly to make sure that the problem was found. He then helped to recommend a new faucet for me to purchase. He waited while I went to Lowes to buy a new faucet to install based on our needs and his recommendation. He installed the faucet in a short time and showed me how it worked. We love our new faucet and I will call him again for any of our plumbing or electrical needs. We always ask for James because he is so knowledgable, helpful, and great with dogs and kids. We feel Allgood's prices are fair and the work is great! we trust James advice and know he will not ask us to do anything that is not necessary.

Water Heater went on a Sunday night of course! After calling we were promptly connected to a service rep: Doug Pilgrim. He was at our house within a hour 1/2 with a new Water Heater & completed installation within two hours (we had drained the old heater). Doug was very professional, and even had to move the heaters up & down our basement stairs. Would recommend them to family & friends.

It went great. Terri was professional, on time, found the problem immediately, repaired it. Checked out all possible causes. He was completely thorough. I would use his company again and ask for him.

Jared, the technician was prompt, responsive and covered his shoes upon entering our house. He explained what he would do, did so, exceeding our expectations, and left his cell phone number for our follow up if needed. He has served us at least two other times in the past, aslways professional, and competent.

The telephone receptionist had a great attitude and helpful over the phone when we called for service. She scheduled same day service. Both technicians (one plumber; one electrician) were extremely friendly and considerate. The work was completed quickly and they were both very professional. They both offered improvement suggestions that were helpful. The company trucks and equipment were clean and organized. We will use their services again.

They were wonderful. They didn't charge me anything. If we ever need anything again, we would definitely be calling them first.

Wow! The guys at Allgood were amazing - I called about 4 pm after realizing we had a bad leak under our kitchen sink, and they were able to fit me into the schedule before 5! And when Bronson and the other tech came out, they were able to diagnose the problem very quickly and accurately (no cutting corners), plus attend to a couple other less urgent issues (loss of pressure at faucets, that I thought might be from sediment, and water heater issues). Also installed a replacement Insinkerator baffle I had on hand and corrected the alignment of the faucet handle at no charge! They also gave me a lot of great info on a tankless water heater, since ours is pretty well on the way out, and I was really impressed with Bronson's product knowledge and some of the key features of this newer style tankless heater. They also accepted the AL coupon, so I am one super satisfied customer! I will be calling them for any future issues.

He came from his last call, which was Lithonia area, came same day after that job which was approx 35 miles, timely, effective, explained possible scenarios and thos options, however, mine was simple and resolved in 5 minutes. Would use again

Every thing went find the provider did a very good job he was just a little prices when I had already purchased the part needed to do the repairs.

This really should be entitled Part 2 of the review we submitted a week ago when the replacements were in the planning stage. So continuing from that review, here is what happened with the installations: The plumber assigned to these jobs was Mr. Gareth Evans. He had done the estimate and we were pleased to have him return to handle the work. He arrived promptly as planned and first took care of our old tank style water heater in the basement of our home. Despite a major thunderstorm, he had picked up the replacements before 7AM from the distributor center in order to get to our home as scheduled. He briefed my husband and I on how the switch would be done and set to work. He spent the entire morning removing and installing a traditional water heater, then cleaned the basement area where the new tank is placed before taking a short lunch. Then, he returned and began the removal of an old water heater next door that had unfortunately been placed in an upstairs closet. What could have been a mess with damage to rugs and walls, was handled flawlessly. (Upon removal of the unit, it was apparent that the old unit was just weeks away from bursting and flooding the bonus room and living room below.) The new tankless water heater was installed by dinner time. We received thorough introduction to how it works and what to expect. Very seldom do you receive this kind of technical information; we just wish other professionals did this quality of work and consumer education. In summary, Allgood Plumbing and Electric has highly intelligent, motivated, hardworking employees. Not only do their field staff do the job correctly, but also their office staff handle the logistics flawlessly; when you talk to them on the phone, they really listen and take note of your problems.
