They delivered the pod professionally. It was fine. As we packed our boxes in there, they didn't tell us the pod was infested with roaches. As I was packing the boxes in there, I saw a bug and I really didn't know what it was until later on when someone told me it was a roach, but then it was too late because it had infested the pod and the boxes in the back. When we got the pod even though we carefully packed it, a lot of my valuables were broken. I don't know what they did to them when they picked it up. I called them and they couldn't pick it up for 7 or 8 days which would put me through another month in advance payment. They charged me a month that I didn't use plus the pick up fee. I called them and they did respond to me that month. I did complain about the roaches and they said they would have an investigation. They didn't do anything about the roaches. I paid an exterminator $180-some to come and exterminate because I didn't want the roaches in the new home. They were expensive. If would have to do it all on my own, I wouldn't have done that. They had it delivered here which was fine and they put it exactly where I wanted it which is great. We loaded up, saw some bugs, didn't think anything of it, continued to load it and it was done. We called them up and they picked it up and delivered it to the new house. My cousin's guarantor was there and I said I have seen some bugs while I was packing and he said those are roaches. When I called them and told them about that, they said to take out each item and wash it, and make sure it didn't have any eggs on it. All our clothes had to be washed, all our dishes had to be washed, blankets and everything washed. I am still unpacking up to this day. They were very professional. They are not responsive because I have a complaint and it's been 2 weeks and I heard nothing. They did reimburse me for the overcharge on that. When they were scheduled to come, they did arrive. However they messed up the delivery day. It's funny when they deliver to somewhere else, they do it right away but if it's for pick up, they delay it until I am past my renewal for the next coming month and they are already expensive. It was $138 a month to rent it and it's at $255 to pick it up, and it was like 3 times. It was about $1,000.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with the PODS Suwanee, Ga location. Brian gave me personalized service and took care of everything from assuring me about the condition of the container, to delivery of the container (on time and as scheduled), storage of the container and re-delivery. I also needed to access my container while it was in storage and he took care of that too. I would definitely recommend the PODS in Suwanee, GA.

I'd heard some horror stories about PODS, but when I checked similar services of other companies I also heard similar horror stories. So, I bit my lip and went with PODS. I am glad I did. They delivered two PODS to our home in Washington State, theiy then stored them in a facility in WA while we were in transit to GA. We paid the storage fee as we expected to. When we got to our new home in Suwanee, GA, PODS were delivered on time AND the drivers were very helpful in setting the PODS down in a very narrow alley behind our house. Great job.

**********************************I'm a senior moving to a retirement community and was told the POD was a new easy way to move. So far it's been a train wreck,,,,$$3,650. to have PODS loaded and the same for unloading.....$12,000+ total. I'd have done better selling everything and buying new between the garage sale proceeds and moving cost saving! So it goes, I've yet to get my things back safely and they cannot deliver all same day so up go unloading costs. PS asked for AAA or senior discount and supervisor offered $10. If I live through this my next move will be to a cemetery and will not be through PODS. One bright spot is the drivers are very polite but PODS made no effort to resolve my issue or even explain their own position……Customer service comes last….they take Wednesdays off making it more inconvenient... imagine Fed Ex closing Wednesday!!

They are a little pricey, but it is convenient. They were on time both times that picked it up and left it.

It was a very good experience. We just told them where and when we needed the pods, and they were there. It saved us lots of money compared to a storage unit.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. They also charged a good price. They worked with me on scheduling as I had to reschedule three times. One of the drivers needed a little more experience but other than that, everything was great.

PODS is great when you are moving to a new location and haven't found a new home yet. They drop off a storage container in your yard or driveway. I used one container and regret I didn't get two. Once the POD arrives, you can hire movers to load the POD or do it yourself. When you are ready, PODS picks up the container and stores it until you tell them the delivery address. Every interaction I had with the company was very positive. Nothing was broken in transit (however, I did pack it very carefully). They let me know ahead of time that summer delivery scheduling is very busy, so I called as soon as I knew my date and was able to have the container delivered within one week. If you are moving locally, you deal just with this franchise. When moving from state to state, the franchises work together in a way that is seamless to the mover. Moving is hard no matter what route you choose, but PODS was a great asset in the whole process.

We recently purchased a house where the previous owner used PODS for move-out. The PODS driver accidentally knocked over the mailbox the day of the closing. The PODS company had a written commitment to repair the mailbox taped to the door when we returned from closing and the work was done by the date promised and with care. I give them credit for taking immediate action to repair the damage. With the change in owners it could have been a hassle, but they took care of it and replaced the post & numbers with as nice or nicer quality than was originally there. Wonderful, so convenient and easy and at fair price. We stored our pod in their warehouse.

The POD arrived exactly when they said it would. They both called and emailed the ETA. When it was time to transport from one location to the next we received the same email, phone call with ETA. When it was time to pick up the POD we got the same service. Also the web site is very user friendly, and the invoices and payments are all there for you to look at. The drivers were very polite. Highly recommend PODS
